RDR2 version 1.25 Resolution scale resets

Hi, does anyone of you also encounters the resolution scale on the graphics setting always turns off every time we load/restart the game?  Haven't encountered this on the last version.  I thought it was messing up with my Graphic card setting but I think its more on the recent version 1.25 update.

Update, Rockstar support team are assisting me on this one and tried the reset of settings and revalidate system files on steam but still the issue of resolution scale to Off is still there.  I am also seeing that TAA is also resetting to HIGH.

This is a bug in Blood Money RDR2.exe, it resets resolution scale, TAA, FXAA. These settings are completely broken - even if you manually set correct values in settings.xml and deny write permission to this file the game IGNORES correct settings from the file and uses incorrect defaults on startup.

I just spent hours scratching my head as to why the settings(all settings) keep resetting then just when the settings were somehow saved the resolution scale keeps resetting to OFF no matter what.

 

Has Rockstar addressed this? link?

Can confirm, resolution scaling does reset to Off at each startup. It seems to be the only thing for me (AMD card), wonder if it resets more stuff for people on NVIDIA cards due to the extra DLSS settings.

Some people are reporting TAA and FXAA as well. 

 

I wouldn't have noticed this issue at all if i didn't double check my settings, I'm guessing most people haven't noticed it since they didn't check if the settings they used are still applied after they played the game afterwards.

I have the same issue. On startup resolution scale is off and TAA is high, no matter what I had before. I don't use FXAA so can't say if that one changes. NVIDIA card. Not a big deal to keep changing a couple settings but I hope they fix it.

It's absurd that Rockstar still hasn't sorted this out.
