At the very least I hope RDO will be properly addressed during the T2 earning call during questions. We may not get a response from R* or really anything noteworthy, but the campaign has put RDO in spotlight for quite some time, which will undoubtly leave the investors wondering what's with the game and why it isn't living up to its potential, with proper support and everything.

Even if the earnings from the sales of RDR2 (and RDO mtx) are good, the lack of dlcs and proper support hurt the game in the long run, so the investors should definitely demand answers.

An apology? I don't understand just how that is supposed to sit for an apology?

The ones making the complaints already own the game, and many have been playing for sometime? How is making the game half off going to help anything except their bottom line?

This... This right here is my biggest complaint and honestly tells me more about the future of this game than anything R* has done so far.

I already own the damn game, I want to spend money on things to do in the game. How is this so hard for them?

 

It's hard not finding some humor in all of this, many of us are pleading with the company, asking them to give us real things to buy. So that we can actually give them our money and they are resisting us at every turn. Like, who does that?

Mad how R* would rather delay/not put out a newswire for GTA's weekly changeover because they don't want to be further bombarded with RDRO criticism.

 

At least that's how it appears, and as they aren't responding, the worse it looks on the company the longer it goes. Crazy!

 

Just a shame some are being so poisonous about this though, no excuses for that. Just a shame it hurts the cause and makes R*'s playerbases look so awful.

Yeah, that's no apology. It's just R*/T2 being cheeky knowing it's a hot topic and they hope people buy it to see what the fuss is and as they'll be new to the game and not seen the dark days of broken mechanics and see there's plenty of content initially for new folk and win some new defenders.

 

At least I can't help but look at it that way, bit of a kick in the beans to be fair.

Unfortunately being at the end of a keyboard loosens people's inhibitions', and when they are angry, or just trying to flex their voice a bit it causes more trouble than it's worth.

 

 

 

The whole point of this should have been to show R* that we are fed up with things, and that we need to see some change, and being loud and vocal about our complaints is valid. It gets their attention, especially when it's everywhere and they cannot hide from the publicity.

But threats, and name calling are no way to reach common ground.

 

Looks like we shook them up somewhat, and I solely believe they thought our little protest would only last a day or two before we quieted down. Unfortunately for R* they do not realize the kind of passionate players that are behind the player base in this game.

 

Maybe though, we take a little time to actually make our words get through to them without the harsh rhetoric getting in the way.

Think people who are expecting a response are forgetting just how stubborn Rockstar can be. A campaign like this will just make them dig there heels in even more imo. But it’s nice to watch them squirm for a bit lol.

This is actually hilarious - haven't had such a good laugh in a long time, when I read your reply .. You hit it spot on .. They actually lowered the price 50 %, to calm down the community ..??  That's so funny ..

 

It smells like either the community or Rockstar took a huge dump in their pants - The community claims it is Rockstar, but Rockstar ignore the accusation , and opens a window (for the stench to escape) - and now we are all freezing, and the smell get's even worse - Then the community suddenly realizes that it is them who stinks, but it is Rockstar who took a dump in the community's pants ..

 

This game is so dead .. A couple or more years, then they pull the plug on the last server ..

 

The good news is, that LucasGames has handed out the task to make a new open world Star Wars game with multiplayer capacity - to Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft .. This sound like it could be fun - we can all meet up there in a couple of years ...

Huh... there's a good idea there.  If nothing happens in response, we should all plan to make some big campaign before the next T2 Earnings call a week or two before.  Is the next one in the 1st or 2nd week of February?

Maybe run around all shirtless like Strauss in the game for a day and see who does some video grabs for commentary.

Absolutely nothing about RDO in the newswire. I think I'm about done guys. If they brush over RDO in the investor call and fail to address this whole situation in the future, then I think I'm pretty much done for good with this game. We've tried everything virtually (besides review bombing the game) to attempt to turn this horse around and move towards a better path.

 

Might come back if they release some more content sometime soon, but I probably won't like what they'll put out anyway.

Rockstar really have become a complete joke. My respect for them is at an all time low after the trilogy and now this. You’ve got literally every major gaming publication covering this asking them for comment and they are STILL not saying anything. Just acknowledge the fans. You know, the ones that paid their hard earned money to buy your games and the people that turned your company into a multi billion dollar money printing machine. They are behaving like absolute cowards hiding behind weekly GTAO tweets on Twitter or giving some random publication no one has ever heard of an interview cos they know they ain’t going to ask them difficult questions. Question about the lack of an RDO newswire yesterday. People have interpreted the absence as significant way or another, but isn't it the case that Rockstar has only put out the two monthly newswires for RDO without anything in between? If that's correct, then it would be normal for Rockstar to not put out any new info on a weekly basis, right?

In a GTAO Newswire to boot.   Any RDO mentions would either come in a dedicated RDO Newswire or a 2021 year in review article of sorts which they've done before. That's when you may be able to expect something about RDO.
