I had a dream that an update came out that was like a Naturalist extension and a Collector extension for Red Dead Online.

 

In the Naturalist extension, we collected blood and animal parts and took them to the mad scientist in the abandoned house near Van Horn.

 

And in the Collector extension, we collected dinosaur bones for Deborah MacGuiness, like her Stranger mission "A Test of Faith" in Story Mode.

 

I miss this game so much, so many missed opportunities because of Rockstar's greed with GTA Online.

So, related to the jeanropke map and similar - is there a way to get pinged (email, notification somewhere idk), when a rare collectible has a spawn day? 

 

I think the jeanropke has a cycle map, no? So I could in theory right down the dates for the rare spawns, but I was just wondering if maybe some system already exists. A few of the necklaces/bracelets etc seem to only spawn once between 2 weeks or whatever, its so easy to miss out. And then you end up only being able to pick it up like 2 or 3 times during a collector month.

Yeah this is just something applying to all games now, dev branches are entirely hidden from the API, and thus the public.

I had to go to Bluewater Marsh to get some vanilla flowers for moonshine.  I don't like hanging around down there though because the gators scare me, so I got my business done an got out of three before nightfall.

Speaking of those gators, maybe I will send a bounty to them.  The bounty will be hogtied so no escape for them.

Was in a session a few days ago and saw a double rainbow the very first time near Rio del lobo. I've seen rainbows but never a double and not in online.

I was out in Valentine, and I spotted this highly unusual looking covered wagon:

Oh yeah, there are so many nice wagons, I wish we could own wagons. Oh my god imagine having a wagon double as a tent/campfire site. So you just park somewhere and you could rest inside the wagon (like storymode tent rest/sleep), and there would be like a mini stove or something. Gah.

 

I like riding wagons through cougar-infested areas, lol xD

I wouldn't have the guts to ride a wagon into an area where cougars are.  No way!

 

Sleeping in the back of a wagon would be cool.

 

I was playing for a good few days and I noticed wagons appear more frequently now.  I was in Valentine and I saw many types of wagons.  The fully covered wagons in short and long length, wagons with the top part covered and wagons with the canvas wrapped around the front bow.  Open back wagons and stage coaches too.

 

I would love to go out on a real one.

haha well i just mean, the hunting wagon is safe from cougar attacks (all wagons are afaik), so no horse bucking you into the cougars mouth

I went on a covered wagon trip and did bounty hunting with Lemoyne outlaw.  We had a great time.

that was hilarious. i heard the roar and i thought it was gonna attack me. so i turned around and saw it killing you. then i killed it but it was too late.

Revenue shot at me at the last two moonshine deliveries I was making.

 

Being the good boy that I am, I stopped my wagon when requested.  An inspector examined the wagon before shouting 'moonshine'.  That's when the shootin' begun.

Probably nothing but it'd be nice to have native DLSS4 implementation. (same goes for GTA 5 funnily, idk why they didn't launch the "Enhanced" version with DLSS4 but with DLSS3.)
