That passed fast, even though I have stopped playing RDO daily and started to play some other games I am already looking forward to dive back into the sp-campaign for a second time in a while.

RDO will be undergoing maintenance tomorrow, as per the support status .json file. For some reason it's not yet showing on the Support site, but it should soon.

I hear ya! just recently I completed the story, after a break of almost 4 years. about time I guess.

was stuck late at the epilogue, had to finish John's ranch, do a few jobs with sadie, and then finally - AMERICAN VENOM!

felt good, it was something I always wanted to do but never got around to. with RDO being dead I figured I might give it a try.

worked so well for me and my oldest daughter (she got super curious about the whole gang-dynamics: when did the gang split up?? why did Arthur sacrifice his life???) - we're doing a brand new playthrough. so quickly we rushed through chapter 1,  and now that the gang fled the mountains we take our time at horseshoe overlook.  this game is still the sh*t, no other open world is that captivating!

Thst is true for me as well, and makes me sad that Rockstar (for now) has basically left RDO. I only played the sp-campaign once before I moved on to RDO, but I played slowly and used a little over two months on it. The next time I will  use even longer and go for 100% completion. I hope for the best in terms of RDO still and have not given up completely but I look forward to play alone in single-player, it will be nice and quiet

If it couldn't get any more frustrating. I get these odd spam request messages in my DeviantArt inbox every once in a while for indie game companies supposedly seeing interest in my character designs and wanting me to send in a portfolio to help them create for their games.

Usually they are from unknown companies and I don't know their aim so I delete them, but this time I had to shake my head at the nerve.

First off, this is DeviantArt and I do not upload work to any Artstation. Second, how dare they! How dare they even presume that I would be swayed to work with a game that I am not particularily fond of in the first place?

Spam or not, this message is cruel to a broken RDO player who gets to sit back and watch her game get thrown away for a new GTA installment.

 

 

 

Lol, sorry for the dramatics guys. But I thought the context of this message was truly funny, not that it is some sort of scam cause I get those all of the time, but just because it was for that particular game.

The only way Rockstar would go bankrupt is if they changed the company into a record label.      
 

Leaving T2 would probably wouldn’t change much.  Seeing how much dough GTAO earns and how much a new game can earn at launch, other investors will be happy to throw money at them.  
 

Dr. Strauss really is T2 and Arthur is Rockstar.

So GTA5 is not selling as good anymore with only about 1 million copies sold last quarter. Here we are where RDO could take over until GTA6 is released.

Just skip time and jump to 1911 already. Im tired of using horses. Rdr1 ends in like 1914 too. I mainly stick to the roads so i would love cars even if you had to stick to the roads with them. Just give us the option

I looked at it that way as well....until I noticed GTA V is still in the top 5  PlayStation downloads in August, September and even October. Not only in the U.S. but also in Europe (never below 7th).

 

Sales may of slowed compared to Quarters in the past, but the game is still very relevant on Consoles.

Valentine is a lovely town:

 

 

It has everything you need.  A butcher, a shop, a saloon, a gunsmith, a doctor, stables and a train station.

 

When I'm on a wagon, I park it by the stable before going about my business.

i have been wanting cars in rdr2 since before the game came out. i know most people think that having cars would not make it feel very western. but the truth is cars did exist in 1899. they might not have been as common as horses or wagons. but they existed. people say the same thing about the more modern guns. like the semi auto pistol or mauser. sure they might not be typical western guns. but they did exist in this time. and it's nice to have the variety. i think it would be a great way to mix things up a bit for the game. and it would no doubt be a very expensive item that people would probably pay gold for. unfortunately rockstar pretty much gave up on the game. so i highly doubt we will see any new content to the game.

yes i totally agree. valentine is easily the best out of all the towns. you can tell that it's meant to be the armadillo of rdr2. it's your typical wild west town that looks straight out of a western movie or show. and as you say it has just about every amenity. and it's located in one of my favorite parts of the map. the heartlands. so you have some amazing scenery close by. every time im there i feel like I'm home. it's such a nostalgic and iconic town for me. it's such a shame that the other two towns in new hanover are lame. annesburg is a mining town where many people are getting sick or dying from the mine. and van horn is basically a worse thieves landing. and there is very little to do in those towns. the rest of the towns are good but not as good as valentine.

Yeah, i feel like they pretty much left the game to rot. They could’ve had a industrialization dlc where they added a model t, a 1911 handgun, shoulder holsters to get rid of the gun belt and organized crime role. Not any of that blood money BS. Players could pick their side between the old school cowboys or new age gangsters.

Good riddance. I have no idea how people enjoy playing GTA V after 1000s of hours. I memorized every square inch by now.

The 1M thing has been debunked, it's just how T2 presents their numbers rounded to multiples of 5. GTA V sold anywhere between 1 to 5M copies this quarter, not just/under 1M exactly.

Not exactly, we just have to rely on Take-Two's official numbers. They'll have it all organised internally, otherwise big corpos wouldn't be able to track big product sales either in general.

Total GTAV sales should be divided by 3 to be fair.  Since it had seperate releases for 3 different generations.  So that +170m copies sold should technically only be like 55m-60m. Or to be a bit more generous, 90m.   Looking at it that way RDR2 doesn’t deserve terrible negelect by R*.

We might get a modest title update next month for the holiday season... new telegram missions, call to arms festive maps etc. like they did in September 

 

That's the only way I see stuff like the stable glitch being resolved

Would be nice if there was a 3X bonus on gold payout.    
 

And if they could find some kindness in their cold greedy hearts and add a snowball throwing animation, that would be nice as well.
