According to the files, there will be a special Halloween survival and the Armadillo location added in the future. Just thought I should mention it since nobody else talked about it.

What town/location for call to Arms will they release next week?  I'm assuming they will drip feed some like they have with the Blood Money missions?

After the patch, my new cartiridge wrap stays the color i change it to. Also, seems they're doing a free trial. Out the loop so not aware of any other issues they may have addresed.

 

Edit, nope, new wrap still resets color every time... :( lol

I saw a reddit comment where one player was being lassoed and dragged out of bounds by another player. 
So it seems it's possible. 
It was only one comment though, out of dozens and dozens of posts.

If the posse leader starts the mode, his posse members get dragged in with him. Up to 4 players total. 
If you switch posse leaders after a match, you circumvent the cooldown timer. 
Playing this mode with friends on the mic should be pretty damn awesome. Teamwork pays off

Although it's been a while that I don't play RDO, is it worth to install the game again for this mode? I mean, is it working fine?

I had 2 small glitches in 5 matches yesterday. Neither was game-breaking or making me lose progress, I was able to deal with both. 

Others haven't had so much luck. Some get disconnected, some have enemies spawn right behind them for an insta-kill, some have reported NPCs stop spawning, and some other glitches. 

I haven't had this much fun with new content since Moonshinerns came out. It's a rush and a challenge. No other content in RDO is quite like it. 
Is that enough for you to re-install? Hard to say. If you're gonna do it, do it quick while 3x bonus is active this week.
The payouts are insane. $900 and 3 gold for completing wave 10, which takes 40-60 minutes.

oh right.
i had the npcs for all the locations found weeks ago, i had the feeling one was missing...and yeah, it´s just the armored guy but in dead outfit.
so my guess he isn´t a special ped and instead just a armored enemy in "undead" style

There is a building you can go into near or in the horse corral at Mcfalrane's Ranch.  My friend was in there and the AI kept spawning through the roof into the building.  If two people were in there it didn't seem to happen, but if you were in there alone it was almost guaranteed death.

Yes they can....And Rockstar created this issue by not giving everyone the same pay.  The pay is based on the order you finish.  So on two occasions yesterday the random that we were placed with decided to mess with the person who was leading.

There is if you really want to.  I had a pesky MF'er just shadowing me through a match tossing dynamite and fire bottles everytime I went to aim at an enemy.  He did this until I lost the the lead in kills.

3x rewards for survivals is very generous from Rockstar, which makes me think that they are doing this because they plan to introduce some opportunities to spend a lot of money/gold on something. Now would be a good time to introduce properties and/or other things that cost a lot of gold.

Yes, they are long overdue and should have been in the game much earlier, but I think this is a fairly good sign that they may come after all. Because right now we are getting way too much money with nothing to spend it on.

I think it is more to get people to play this week and think how great they are before it gets to normal and people will see that they just spent 45min or so earning very little, especially if you account the cost of ammo used.

Holy sh*t these survival maps are fun!

Made it to wave 10 at Blackwater and just got swamped from every direction, couldn't take cover fast enough haha.

A few team mates were camping up on roofs, but eh where's the fun in that!

Even if the money goes down and there's a cooldown, they're still a good laugh and a challenge.

Those bucket headed bastards and the wagon freaks add a nice dimension to it!

Oh, well that's kind of a bummer but it sounds like most play the rounds as a team so far. I'm gonna think positive. 

And awesome news about the posse thing, typically we have a three person posse so that might help keep things in line.

That sounds about right, luckily I don't intend to do these for the payout. I just wanna let the bullets fly and make it as far as I can, hopefully we can find the right likeminded players.

 

On another note, given that some are saying that there is a possibility for a halloween survival mode, does anyone think that we are finally going to get our Undead survival? Or dare I say, a swamp survival mode dealing with the Night folk?

I haven't played Online since the end of November, but the survivals sound like they might be sufficient fun to get me to play again

You're constantly swamped by enemies.

Anybody who pulls that sh*t, dragging players out of bounds, has no interest in actually playing the survival so you might as well just quit out.

Don't waste your time.

There's far more players who actually want other cool players to play with and reach the end.

I had one buddy who revived me and I returned the favour.

Good folk exist.

I played call to arms.  I think they are boring.  Was never a fan of them in GTAO.  There is too much down time in between waves.  Also some maps will have you running around far too much to get loner enemies.  Although these are far better than GTAO...its just npcs...can you increase the difficulty?  It says standard but you cannot toggle over one the one I completed.  Maybe forced free aim will make them interesting.

I'm all for camaraderie between players. And most likely I'll be playing with a posse so the one random player is not going to cause us much disruption if they did try to be a thorn in our sides. 😉

They're fun as a side extra, the odd one or two a week or something. Much like GTA's survivals, they're ok in small doses but not an activity I can do repeatedly like race, missions, or hunt etc.

 

I quite like how these are set though with the NPC allies and interacting with them. That adds a fresh spin on things compared to GTA's.

Nothing should be forced, it kills any activity for whichever aim preference is pushed into a playstyle they dislike.

 

It should be fully optional. We either join these as is or as free aim, same for difficulty, we should be free to choose. More freedom like that is what I believe this game needs much more of overall. That and less cooldowns. If someone wants to play these all evening, I see no harm in it and restricting that is just daft.
