The RDO bonuses were always a joke

It's funny how much Capitale I had accumulated without ever playing one Capitale mission. They create these forms of money, I guess to get you to grind and play the game, but then just keep giving them to you for free. Why bother grinding for the stuff.

Not sure this is due to the small background update, but I may (or may not) have just found the opportune time to restock items from Harriet without getting sprayed… during Moonshine Rescues. I’m gonna go ahead and preface this right out the gate by saying I don’t know if this is legit since I prefer not to go back and try again right now, but I literally killed some squirrels in front of her tent mere seconds before entering her shop with her raging each time, so a little credence where necessary. I got up and she shouted the unusual comment of hearing of my bad behavior, but I’d been “bad” skinning animals all morning.

 

Thing is, since it was buyer rescue, I’m figured it couldn’t trigger the lock out and spray mechanic whilst content was running (similar to Cripps and the homeless man who comes in for food), so this could be the bypass to avoid the lockout? 

 

I know most don’t care if they get sprayed, but I thought it worth a mention since I often run low on certain items I can’t make myself (Hardy tonics be damned). 

 

I’ll try again next time I get a moonshine buyer rescue for some more investigation, but for now I’m just pleased I got to restock everything without getting stopped. I also wouldn’t mind being corrected on this and if anyone has tried visiting Harriet during other missions as I’m sure I’ve stopped at the vendor before whilst doing a trader sell and still got sprayed, so it could’ve been a mere fluke on my part.

If they ever do release a content update anytime soon, I can't wait to finish everything in just a couple hours and then wait another 6 months.

geez people will complain about anything. everyone is complaining that we don't have a new dlc. and now you are saying if we did have one. you would still be unhappy. of course the dlc will get old and state eventually. its up to you to decide how long you want it to last. at this point i would be very happy just to get an announcement for a new dlc.

Most are old and stale after a few hours since all they are is things we’ve been doing all along but under a different name. That’s the problem.

I had a feeling people were jumping to conclusions, ranching sounds like it'd get boring quick anyways. We needed proper Outlaw content and homes/money sinks

I'm fine with working and well thought out DLC being introduced in limited numbers, because I would prefer them taking the time to actually make something worthwhile. When they fast track content just to throw stuff out at us it tends to be buggy and not as fun or appealing to the community.

My complaint is that we don't even get small updates during the year. When they give us an update once every six months to a year that only has a small amount of content involved it is not going to keep anyone entertained for long.

They could do one or two large updates a year, a few medium sized updates in the course of a few months, and give us some new stuff to work for each month. Also by giving us a property they give us a reason to log in even if there is no new content to play. 

I mean, why can't we own a mine and do some mining? Why can't we tend to our own ranches, own a small shop, or buy the stables and start our own entrepreneurial business? Heck, why stop there? If there are players who like the sophisticated life, why can't we become oil barons, bankers, or own a train line? 

Why are we the ones who literally fund other peoples' business (Cripps/Maggie), and do all the heavy lifting to keep them afloat, when we should be able to pave our own way?

 

And where is our outlaw content?

I mean if you want hopium, the Blood Money update had references to two spots where Rockstar could insert buttons to play new content introduced in future updates. In fact, the previous updates had three spots, but one of them was used for players to straight away spawn near areas where you launch the Blood Money themed content.

 

I don't think the issue is the lack of ideas nor planned content, but Rockstar themselves not focusing on the game. We are yet to receive Horse & Wagon fences despite being referenced within the files.

Because R* want us to buy gold. If you have played GTAO as a CEO/VIP and doing crates from office that how I think it going to be if we could start a very own business.... Either we do the lifting or we hire other players....

I've done the MC thing, and have some money laundering thing that I haven't touched since I got it. Unfortunately between all of the jobs that me and my family share between us there is hardly ever anything to do in GTAO either, lol we usually end up trying to find something stupid to do or we make up some odd ball challenge to compete with each other. I think that if the jobs had a little more personal maintenance involved, instead of the same set of tasks to do, we might be inclined to do them more. 

We could hope R* figures this out and works on it, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Until then, they are not getting one more dollar from me.

You are right, and that's what bothers me the most about this.

As I'm not going to be bothered to buy their new GTA game I would prefer that they try to keep up with the online content they have available right now. RDO is only a few years old, if they played their cards right it could last many more years to come.

But they will probably focus on the same GTA game but with new characters that they intend to produce and throw all of their other series out the door.

Thats why all the business are so boring in GTAO. Go here, collect that and deliver it there! With bounty hunting in RDO there is some missions that is fun where we need to interrogate or persuade someone to give up information where the target is.

Same with the moonshiner but there is the brawl in saloon the best one where npc don´t go for the gun or call on the law......

If they say it perform great but not mention any DLC in pipline I would say it´s done! It would be ironical if a big gaming site went public and said that R* have stopped giving it new content and R* not as usually don´t comment on it!

They'll say the event months are massive new updates in the conference call and the investors will eat it up.

I'm more surprised there aren't investors who are actual gamers, or investors that aren't complete boomers. If there is one thing you should do as an investor, it is invest in things that you believe in and enjoy. I have no idea why these morons are even at the conference call to begin with.
