They have an outdated way of thinking. They think the quiet equals professionality and dedication, while it really just makes people think too much and end up being disappointed every single time. It's about damn time for Rockstar to speak up, it's time for them to interact and not just act.

As a "fangirl", all I can think of is the part of that picture that is hidden. Lol It was a good moment to capture, a good one indeed.

And Mr. Grimes would no doubt be here complaining with the rest of us about how bad R* is when dealing with their "stuff and thangs."

Yep, this exactly.

 

I'm not your typical gamer. I know many RDR players don't fit into the gamer category that R* is used to dealing with, and I know that is one of their problems.

Simply put it seems like many of us outgrew the company.

We demand more from our products and their creators than we did back in the day. 

As young gamers we eagerly anticipated the game to be released, and we trusted that the company knew what it was doing, those days are long gone. Now we hold them accountable, and for a company that really isn't meant to be out there playing public relations, I think that causes conflict for them.

In the end they should have taken our uproar as a sign that this game has a tangible following, because if we didn't care so much we'd just quietly leave the game and move onto the next.

I have to wonder if this game can even be saved now. EVERYONE I know that was hot and heavy into this game for 2 or more years has deleted it and moved on and nothing will bring them back, if for no other reason than the way R* treats the player base of RDO. It's been way too long since anything of any subtance that is fun for more than a day or two came along.

They can't, too little too late. The game did not launch with enough content, and they have been chasing their tail ever since. They can't make enough content to keep people satisfied, people are already jaded and bitter.

 

So many basic things are missing from this game that it is laughable, they wanted it to be GTAO 2.0, and they had the perfect blueprint to make it so, and yet they still f*cked it up. It's a weird mash-up of GTAO wearing a Cowboy skin and stuff like Fortnite with seasonal passes and stupid "skins" and sh*t like that.

 

Even if they dropped Properties AND Heists in the same update they would f*ck it up somehow, and it would be pointless because we have NOTHING to spend the money on.

People don't realize that R* is probably making a E&E version of RDO.
They have silently abandoned the XBox One and PS4 platform for a long time ago.
Which means they pushing RDO towards PS5 and XBox Series X.
Nobody realizes that we will not see a update for RDO until the E&E version of RDO is finished.
And then the support and updates for PS4 and XBox one is abandoned.

Kind of reminds me of Anthem, idk if anyone remembers that game. A lot of potential there was never realized. At least Bioware had the audacity to actually tell the community they're halting development on future content haha

Well and working on RDR1 and possibly the GTA 4 too. But if GTA 4 is like GTA 5 dumbed down arcade like driving and they change the great endless fun rag doll that it was known for it'll be way dull in a lot of ways. RDR 1 with RDR2 controls or engine type will be a good change on the other hand that will be an improvement.

RDR2 is currently the only game on my ps5 that doesn't have a 60fps mode and that makes me incredibly sad.

Speaking of GTA IV… Cops ‘n Crooks was so much fun in IV Multiplayer back in the day. I also remember mostly everyone grinding Hangman’s Noose, Dealbreaker and Bomb da Base to get that shiny gold level 10 star.

Now that GTAV E&E is out of the way, we would have to wait and see whether qabeta will be updated or not.

 

Even so, resuming development after skipping the second half of last year and the first three months of this year wouldn't likely result in a massive update coming our way. But hey, it's something? Am I right?

Is gta o and rdo really shutting down this or next year?

 

I would have loved both if I could play without drm, but honestly single player for me bro.

 

I would love for Rockstar to focus on classic multiplayer modes like Gta 4 and Sa and ofc single player.
