Thanks. I'll save that hex for later. I'll take a screenshot of the original hex and post it here when I can. It's really weird how it's a different color even though it's the same hex.

#2853A9AA w/ pearl Dark Brown. The pics make it look a tad brighter than it is.

 

But anyway, I am still loving the look of this car. But I wish there were more fitting rims for it aside from these (that give a Comp look) and the stock wheels (that give a CS look).

I think the color's name was just dark brown. Not sure because I used the LSC Color Index for reference as Menyoo doesn't show all pearlescent color names, just numbers.

I wasn't going to buy this car, but since they're giving it away for free I had to snag one. Actually a pretty decent car to drive around, actually feels unique with how it handles (as all of the Tuner cars do IMO)

I just love this car , it drives so smoothly and it looks awesome (better than its RL counterpart lol) 

pity the speed is disappointing on this one ! why R* , it´s a BMW after all !

I really like the car and its handling and I don't really care about the speed. The main issue I have with this car, is that it looks great in so many colors. I just cannot decide whether I want to use the Idle of Man green or stick to the blue that I already used on my Sentinel.

I had the feeling, that the car needed a bit more chrome to complement the carbon. That fits quite well with my blue color. I am very happy with the build now.

I do have a serious problem with it, that I know won't get rectified in the way I want, and it almost ruins the car for me completely..

Yet I still  love this car.

 

Let's get the moaning out of the way first,

so then I can just try to accept the things I cannot change, have the courage to drive flat out regardless, and the wisdom to know that this car is fkin awesome.

 

This being a BMW M2-alike, it should have plenty of M.  

It does have some, but it not completely obvious that it's there. You have to really work to extract the wildness and this car should have it from the start, before even tuning, it should be displaying signs of an animal.

There's a weird sensation like this car has the TC on or something. I keep expecting to find some kind of "M" button so I can unleash the full power, turn off driver aids etc.

It is so disappointing that of all the cars they drop, this car is so controlled. You would almost expect R*'s version to be more exaggerated, and be very loose at the rear.. but this is why it's weird, it has so many BMW characteristics, it's fast, quick, smooth, supple and firm at the same time, good noise, quick responsive steering, it's really good to drive.. but it does feel like it's being restricted, this car should like many others (and more so) be able to spin up the rears on demand, in gear at speed, and be able to powerslide corners. You can get the ass out.. but you gotta be real heavy with the handbrake, it doesn't do the double clutch thing with the ease of some other cars, and it doesn't give the same results either. You do get a boost in speed, but with no real loss of traction, no lairyness really, it can be fun but more in the way of a challenge rather than it just being an animal that wants to go sideways whenever possible. (The new Comet S2 does this stuff very well, and adds so much excitement to the drive, and if you don't want that excitement then you just don't drive it that way)

It's so nailed down, so precise, agile, and it's quick, I still love driving it even though I'm struggling with the lack of aniMal.

 

Let's move on to the looks..

There's one massive huge glaring problem for me.. The Hofmeister kink theft.

There's no kink, they have stolen the excellent BMW design cue, and they share it amongst others, but nein to Ubermacht.

The car would undoubtedly look even better than it does if it had it's kink, rather than the sh*te Mercedes styling of c-pillar termination, and also that side vent smells a bit benzy aswell.

The rear lights themselves are quite nice but the extra curved black surround bit that wraps around the corner does not look nice.

The grills.. I'm warming to some of them, some of them are quite bad, the exhausts.. I only really like one option, so again.. disappointing for me, but.. I still love this car.

The bumper/splitter/diffuser options aren't great either in my opinion, but you just gotta work with what you like, I guess there's something for everyone.

 

As far as interior is concerned..

 

 

 

I wasn't expecting much from the interior at this stage of the game anyway, so this is acceptable I suppose. At least it's colourable.

 

 

The stance, dynamics and presence of this car are excellent, the wheel size/fitment is good.. if I was to be picky I would like a little more width on the rears.

All the things I'm not happy with just don't really matter though.. there's more than enough good there, there's plenty that's right, and even with my personal opinion of its visual flaws, it's drop dead gorgeous.

I love the proportions, and some of the details, headlights, general styling- some 1er ish flame surfacing, nice character line, again proportions.. really good.. overhangs, hood/trunk size, glasshouse, mirrors, nothing looks weird. 

I can tune out what I don't like, (a bit like falling for a person, there's always gonna be things you don't like, but when there's so much you do...) The combination of driving pleasure, performance, and looks is excellent. 

I have 5 now, and I'm thinking about a sixth. This one above ↑ was my first one, quick build I kinda knew what I wanted and had this to cruise around, get used to the car, and think about some specs..

 

 

Number 2

The next one is as close as I can get to replicating my own car in GTA, but again I built it quickly and haven't set the paint yet, so it's not completely finished.. it was just a close approximation to help me do the build.

after looking at the car just alil.. i feel like maybe adding the widebody will look better for this...and i think it fits the NFS no Limits theme juust alil more  and cant help but to go carbon themed shots with the night race
