Like the Champion flawed. The rectractable b-pillar will simply vanish when you shoot the triangle window behind it - it doesn't get rectracted, it just disappears *poof gone*. Looks a bit weird when the little triangle window has only a hole in it but the b-pillar is missing between the two windows. The rear window is indestructable - visually. Still less flawed than the Patriot with it's missadjusted bumpers.

Gentian Blue #000421AA with Blue pearlescent , credit goes to @MarcelineXD . Shame cant change the wheel caliper colour on the cabrio version would have gone for the yellow calipers .

So, I was messing around at the Mod Shop in my S2 Cabrio today and I realised that it had the classic 911 Turbo "Retro" bumpers. I must have missed this when I got mine at first, but now I am really tempted to strips all the Tuner mods off of mine and make a subdued S2 Cabrio "Retro" with the bumpers and a big ducktail spoiler.

I love the idea of this car and I purchased one to complete my porsche garage... But where im having issues is why they wouldnt allow you to lower this car through the interaction menu... its the same car ffs as the hard top version.. two complete different categories in game. same car... Why.

So I decided to deviate from the Gentian blue a little and use San Marino Blue on the Cabrio. The other S2 is using a color called “Viola Purple”. It doesn’t look the best in dark situations, though, so I may consider changing it later.
 

San Marino Blue: #030433; Blue pearl.

Viola Purple: #2A223F; Schafter purple pearl.

Unfortunately the S2 Cabrio has no ducktail spoiler option like the coupe does, unless you meant those ugly as hell lip spoilers.

 

I really don't understand why they made the customization options of the Cabrio so limited, makes no f*cking sense and holds back this car a lot.

The bottom two are ducktails, the reason is because if they were any bigger they would clip through the hood animation.

LoL, I tested the new Cabrio and it's better in every aspect even it is more stable.

But u know how GTA rolls . I added some cosmetics to simple s2 and it also feel stable. But man simple s2 got those flags now it is noticably slow as compared to Cabrio.

Finally got around to dipping my toes into this update as I was too preoccupied with other games during most of December.

Alsoo, finally bought an S2C. The butchering of the standard S2's performance was of course, bloody stupid, but then again

I never used my S2 in Tuner Races cause it already couldn't compete well, nor do I care enough to do Tuner Races at all

anymore so, shrug. The removal of specific mods already present on the S2 was of course, also stupid cause like.. the

work was already done for you R*, just fkn put the pre-existing mods on the S2C, it can't be that hard.

 

Regardless though, ima be honest, the S2C's has grown on me a fair bit. I already loved the base model S2, so some of that

love has of course shed onto it for me. I just think It's neat for what it is and the original S2 makes up for the shortcomings

that the S2C has so I can look past it in that regard. Anyway, I'll stfu, here are my two babies:

Why not copy the handling files from the regular S2 ? What is wrong with these people.

After the way they treated even their classic trilogy, I'm convinced that their general attitude now is 'F all'. One of the Houser brothers left, what's still holding the other one there?

No telling. As someone who edits handling on the regular, it is so easy to make these cars drive... just right. Like it's literally just rearranging some numbers and maybe taking 30 seconds to assess the way something drives. They must have some underpaid moron working the handling.metas for this game because literally anyone could do a better job than his/her ass.

That seems to be an issue with some bumpers as well, like on the Champion, and IIRC the arena Issi/Impaler. Since you're on PC there's a program (unaffiliated with Rockstar) that can fix this.

So... now that my favourite Honda convertible has been quite literally gutted, off I went shopping. And here's this. I was so ready to hate this thing, seeing as it robbed the S2 Coupe of its performance (that it shoud've had from the start), as well as the fact that I just prefer the coupe 911 over the convertible. But it ended up becoming my daily driver now, and I did NOT expect that. In many ways the Cabrio is what the Coupe S2 should've been way back when the Tuners update landed. Correct camera distance, Pfister logo on the steering wheel, headlights not getting tinted along with the windows, proper performance straight from stock (where I needed to add upgrades just to keep the Coupe's test track time under 58sec, the Cabrio didn't need any at all). I'm still not sure if the Cabrio's handling is just tighter than the Coupe's was at launch, but with the added acceleration and top speed that the latter now lacks, or if it's just me having become so accustomed to the S2's rear-engined nature that I don't remember what it was like before.

 

In the end it leaves me frustrated. I can't hate this thing, but it just reminds me of all the things that it and the Coupe could've been. I do wonder though if it'd been possible to make the interior roof lining to match with the trim. As it is, it just looks cheap and half-finished. And why is the steering wheel painted as well? Shouldn't it stay black?

 

Anyway, I'm gonna be driving this thing for now, because it's the only S2 that revs like a 911... until R* inevitably f*ck something else up again.
