... right, it's not that I disagree with that statement, but let's not beat around the bush; the next generation consoles are very hard to come by thanks to very limited numbers at launch, and scalpers are selling for 80% more than retail price. It would be unfair to lock some car modifications (which I highly doubt must require more GPU power) from people who have the money to buy a PS5/XB S/X but cannot get their hands on them.

in Summer Special we found clues for new Sparrow and Cargobob. They added Sparrow with CP heist.

That's the one downside so far: seems to me that there's some give-and-take when it comes to how R* allocates manpower and resources for both games.

 

Summer 2020, RDO got a substantial update, and GTAO got a smaller thing mainly reusing existing assets (yachts, Benny's mods on existing vehicles, etc). Then in December, GTAO got submarines and a whole island, and RDO got doodly-squat (no new catalogue clothing, same old same-old missions, etc.).

 

Not surprising this update looks like a lot of resources got pumped into it, because they sure as heck didn't go into the Getting Blood from a Stone Blood Money update...

This will 100% be a new money sink just like Arena Wars btw, i expect no real money to be made after what they did with Cayo Perico and im totally fine with that.

 

 

That said, HOLY sh*t ive not been hyped like this for YEARS, i almost had a heart attack when i saw the trailer on youtube because i was not expecting news today. I dont really mind the rp system because they definetely learned their lesson with Arena Wars, that nobody is going to grind max level for some mediocre rewards. Probably will be something like that but tuned waaaaay down. I am so looking foward to the 20th.
