I haven't been this hyped for any DLC for any game in recent history. I've been wanting a DLC like this for GTAO for years and years. My expectations are admittedly probably too high, but the cars alone are already pretty exciting but I do hope that the races and new modes don't become a ghost town within a week. I've been getting on the game to collect my weekly $100k from Prime and the monthly $1m (PS5) but have really gotten tired of the endless flying bikes everywhere. The PSN community on this game is just atrociously toxic [for the most part, there are of course exceptions] and I hope the E&E version helps to minimize the amount of toxicity with the playerbase split, just being honest. At least for a time.

 

QoL updates are definitely something I also care about like many others here, and I know this has probably been asked before but why did they mess up the hoodie up/down style option a while back and never fixed it? Was there some sort of exploit involved with it? I like to wear a hoodie up sometimes and it is almost pointless now that everytime I get in and out of a car it takes it back down. Doubt it'll get touched upon in this update but it's a damn shame.

 

For E&E I also hope they give a major overhaul to the UI in the game. An ability to move cars around all our garages seamlessly without needless redundancy would also be nice.

 

Regardless of my long time gripes, I am an avid collector of cars in this game and enjoy the tuner scene in general, I was 13 when the first F&F came, 20 years later we have an update in the most popular open world car-based game to give that nostalgia. Fun times.

I thought you could already make the headlights have different colours when you customize them in the arena war garages. My bullet for example has bright red ones.

Yes, but we can't headlight covers, look at euros based on 370z with yellow covers or new emperor in the artwork with multi color cover.

He meant the glass from the headlights not the light bulbs

I'm pretty sure the arena war only affects the light itself, some of the screenshots (especially the Euros one) makes it seem like the whole glass surrounding the headlight is green

Already have a combo in mind for new emperor, custom color blacklight with chrome primary and multi color glass (if possible), maybe carbon hood and some livery if it's fitting. It's tacky but i have a feeling new emperor would look good in chrome. Perhaps new glass covers have uniques property like xenon, changing color depending on the light source, but it seems kinda complicated to implement.

For real? First time i've heard R* marketing update that way. Would make sense for new game or E&E, but maybe hyping it up for E&E november release, which would be a lot better if they have something new to show.

But to be true with you man, you dont need to worry about that with me. One of the thing i'm most proud of is being a honest person. And when i started in youtube i said to myself that i would not make the others fools. And doing clickbait videos or talking bullsh*t to keep those sweet 10 minute videos in videos that you would do in 3 minutes would be dishonest. So, better cultivate your viewers with credible content and in the mid-long term you will harvest good fruits. And better have few subscribers but have your conscience clean.

Yo! I didn't even notice that! That is awesome. Hopefully that's true. Having to go all the way to the arena is a pain to just change the color of our headlights. As for someone like me who spends most of their time in the Sandy Shores area (primarily for drag racing) it's a pain to drive/fly all the way across the map to the arena IMO.

I'm thinking in three things:

1) How they will handle the npc traffic around that car meet area. Probably they will implement some script that makes npc's "forget" that route.

2) How they will handle the fact that Hao is in the DLC, it will probably hang around that place and he's got visibly older (a bit, i think) but he also owns and appears in the LSC near the airport and it's a more younger Hao. So...probably they will take away that older Hao's model (the younger Hao) from that  LSC Customs and replace it with the newer Hao's model (the now older Hao), or they will just replace that npc model with a different npc. Or...they didn't thought of that and know we will have a space and time plot hole.

3) Why they have choose the Moodyman to be one of the cicerones of the Tuning scene...i mean, not hating on the guy (although he could say not so many times "modafocka, you're a modafocka, everyone's a modafocka"), but it feels like one of the wildest guesses that everyone could have. Even bcz he's a real DJ, and every DJ that appeared in GTA Online is a non criminal as far as i know and now he will probably be in the criminal circuits, giving you robbery missions, etc., Odd choice...hey, maybe he got some nudes of someone important who pulls some strings in GTA Online and he did blackmailed that person like: "Yo, listen, modafocka! I wanna be in the next update bcz i like cars and sh*t. So make sure i'm in, or i will show your weenie to the world!"   ahah... (nah, just kidding  ).

Speaking of DLC characters, am I the only one a little disappointed that Brucie probably won't be making an appearance?
In the current generation of GTA, he was the guy I immediately thought of as one of the guys involved in car customization and underground street racing.

Iam worried about this, clearly moodyman is the least likely possible option to be the contact in the robberies, he is already a dj for music locker, and he was annoying af in the previous missions, maybe this robberies are much less important that i expect and Will be simple missions (i really hope iam wrong with this and we get decent robberies with Challenging and fun missions with the gateaway vehicles and all the good stuff), so they not Even bothered building a strong character....seems more like he begged for a Big role in GTA "yo bro iam dj and all that stuff, can i appear in more missions and stuff, i'll give You a free mix for next dlc"
