Capitale locations thread

Hope we can use this thread to share some locations where Capitale can be found with certainty. Looting corpses seems like a low percentage chance, so it would be cool to know some sure locations.

I have found a couple so far:

The Railroad Contract part 2 - at the second location where the train spawns you can find a loot box with Capitale (3x or 2x) under the wagon with the horses. Drive the wagon forward a bit to get to the loot box.

The Railroad Contract part 3 - loot the Railrod Director for 3xCapitale. If you kill him you can do the mission again for 3xCapitale everytime, but there is a cooldown.

The Jeb Phelps Contract part 3 - lootbox in the basement of Fort Brennand. I got 2x from this every time so far.

Stagecoach Stickup - the NPC that gives you the objective (the bag) seems to always have 1x Capitale with him. Kill or hogtie him to loot it.

Back Pay - correct me on this, but I believe this mission is only available with James Langton and has only one possible location at Benedict Point. The driver of the wagon seems to always have 1x Capitale with him and there is also a lootbox inside the shack behind the train station with 2x Capitale.

Wrongful Property - seems to be only available from Sean Macguire with the only location being the mine close to Mount Hagen. You can find a lootbox with 1x Capitale in the same place where you get the objective bag.

A Lit Fuse - you can find a lootbox with 2x Capitale below Bacchus Bridge.

The Railroad Contract Part 1 - to add to the comment above, the first part also has a lootbox with 1 capitale behind a few logs close to the dead wolf.

Apparently you can loot Capitale from any body in the game as I have found Capitale while looting a enemy in a Moonshiner random event and others have mentioned the same, but of course the spawn rate is minimum.

You don't have to kill him, just hogtie him and loot the 3xCapitale then switch sessions before completing the mission. This means the mission does not fail and there is no cooldown.

* Jeb Phelps part 2 - there's a loot box on the roof at Butchers creek of the house you set on fire

I have a question. Why would you need to grind for it if you get 60 or so capitale through the wonderful Quick Draw thing? How much capitale is needed to play through all the crimes or whatever?

Serious question cuz I don't know the answer.

Opportunities are 25 Capitale each on ruthless difficulty, so thats 75 just to complete them once with the three we know will come. There might be more Opportunities added in the future, at least we can dream... And I actually think the mission has some replay value, trying different strats that unlock by listening to conversations between NPCs around the starting area. I did one run just guns blazing shoot every thing. Played it again and tried to block the train with the wagon at a checkpoint. Then I found out about setting off fireworks to distract guards. Then I found out there are two prisoners on the train that can be freed and will help you (even though they were rubbish). Read about someone snagging a boat and approaching from the water, remaining undetected until he boarded the train, I had to try that. So thats 25 more Capitale needed each time you replay, or 15/20 on other difficulty modes. Adds up quickly, I already used the 60 from the pass and then some.

When I played this free roam random encounter I looted 2 capitale from the last guy you had to track down.

Missed that one.

I've been using Eagle eye to try to find the lockboxes and such, even behind things, but am not having good luck. I've only got it from the Railroad part 3, off of the guaranteed head guy (3) and then a couple off of bodies.

Of course, in the first few I did I was dumb and had 50 on me from the fence and the coupons =/ So I couldn't get more until I did the opportunities one again without messing up and resupplying at my camp box with "get all."

Not Sure If you even Need capitale after completing every opportunity on normal difficulty. That would be 45 capitale

Yeah, you still need 20 each to do them on the higher difficulty or 25 each for Ruthless. Currently there is an offer for doing it on Ruthless to

get the Railroad cap.

Plus you might want to do them again, since they have a payout similar to a Legendary Bounty but are something "different" (plus there is a timer until you

can do the Legendary bounty again, such as Etta Doyle.) Hmmm, that reminds me that doing one then the other would be a good way to grind.

Is that seriously the only difference? I’m on PC so that wouldn’t even change things for me

Also the enemies have better aim and do not show up on the minimap

I checked the entire ship, I swear there wasn’t a lockbox for me! Maybe it was a fluke
