herbie
I've done the mission where you have to kill Diaz 3 times, and each time the moment I kill him my PC just cuts to a black screen and freezes. I'm running Win2k, geforce card This is doing a nightmare. I can't get any further with the missions!
ChiroVette
OKay I have the same problem! Anyone have any idea what's wrong that the game keeps freezing as soon as I engage Diaz, right before the Cut scene where Tommy and Lance kill him? This game is really starting to fall into the "More trouble than its worth" category!!
Varelse
I've tried this mission twice now with the same result. Black screen after Diaz runs into his office and you shoot him. Just black screen... no HD activity... no sound... no nothing. Have to alt-tab out and shut the game down. First bug I've run into and it's a biggie. Help. Lance_Vance_Dance
I have no idea what the problem is but I just wanted to inform you that there maybe some people that haven't played the game yet and be considerate to take out the spoiler from your topic next time and just put something like Help! I'm Stuck or sumthin and then underneath it put **Spoiler** so people don't have to get mad, this happened to me when I played the PS2 version I was so mad. Thanks. ~Lance_Vance_Dance~ -The Dance Is Forever Strong-
herbie
I cant edit the post title so sorry if anyone took it as a spoiler. I would say It is pretty obvious you can't trust Diaz from the start, and it is a game that involves killing lots of people, so I hope people weren't too shocked by the revelation. Besides, in your own signature it says something about Lance faking his own death? Seriously, I have solved this problem on my system by turning on the frame limiter. I dunno why it works, but now the movie shows and mission completes. It also dramatically reduced the time to load the menu screen, so maybe something to do with the way it loads textures for the cut-scenes and menu screens. I will also mention this on the buglist thread.
