Stutter when I turn shadow to high

 I'm using DXVK to play GTA 4 Steam version, it fixed lots of stutter in game, but it still stutter at somewhere in game. It especially often happens at Beachgate after taking Faustin's mission, looks like this video at 3:00 

Can someone guide me how to fix it?

If you want to get rid of stuttering and get better performance - you should install GTA IV with patch 1.0.4.0

This patch is best in terms of optimization and graphics

The version you are using now is probably worst of all

This looks like an occasional frametime spike caused by either too complex scene with shadows or world loading. Believe me the real 2020CE persistent stuttering is much worse.

I'm using steam version, both GTA 4 and DLCs work together. Can I downgrade to 1.0.4.0 without losing DLCs?

Go to your directory, look for commandline.txt and put this inside:

-nomemrestrict -norestrictions -availablevidmem 4000.0

 

if commandline.txt doesn't exist, create it.

It doesn't work for me, the game still stutter
