Just downloading the update but I've already seen the character creator. FFS Rockstar why again? After the disappointing GTA Online character creator. Btw... I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere but will we be able to change our appearance later in the game?

Check your MTU if you changed it before at times. I Can't remember the error code exactly but one beginning with a 2 was attributed to that.

 

Could be wrong.

At first my MTU was at a standard 1500 and I got disconnected every 2-5 minutes. Then I changed it to 1470 and now I get disconnected every 20-25 minutes, I don't know what to do anymore

Make it Count is f*cking garbage and I expected as much, but it seems to be the only mode running right now. Every time I enter Showdown series hoping for shootout mode, I get the one mode that I don't want

It's weird because they said that there would be dedicated servers for Online, I'm really just hoping that they'll increase the amount of traffic past Beta testing.

 

It's the biggest immersion breaker for me, I was really hoping that at least 3/4th of the traffic would make it through from SP, but it looks like there's around 1/3 of the traffic in Online. Outside of the saloons, the towns and countryside just feel so empty, which sort of sucks for anyone expecting something like SP free-roam but with friends.

Matchmaking required missions having a "vote" system mid mission on whether to perform the honourable or dishonorable actions... lol

 

Hope you like mission jumping if its a 1 to 3 vote on doing the bad action and you want to maintain good honour.

Having to feed your horse online is pure stupidity. Their core drains are terrible. Imagine having to spend your money in gta on f**king gas!

 

You're clearly intended to buy heavily into gold bars.. otherwise all your little payouts just go on supplies and ammo for your cores that drain much faster with people shooting at you much more frequently..

I think the heavy handed push to microtransactions is confirmation that SP won't get basically any of the content that heads to online. Why would they let you play with new weapons etc. in single player when they are trying to charge an arm and a leg for them, in online?

I personally don't see why they wouldn't just do mini-DLCs for weapons and clothing in single-player; if they're going to monetize everything, that's just leaving stones unturned.

Just had a couple of hours online. Not for me this. Boring and far too expensive and the gold bar system sucks.

 

Hope you all enjoy RDRO but it's back to GTAO for  me.

pretty sure mine did, but again I went for a female for this after deleting the male so that might've been the difference.

Maybe so, idk. I just know I took screenshots of 18 and 60, and any differences are so minimal they may as well not have included an age number at all for males.

I agree on this, the difference is so minimal on a lot of the options, especially the ones where you slide L3, it's almost non-existent, but I'm sure my character got wrinkles after changing the age, I even had a bug where they kept coming back unless I switch the age back and forth.

I've yet to play Online, but I watched a couple of videos involving free roam and gang shootouts, and it seems to be that animations are more fast-paced which make it look a bit weird. Characters run faster than in the story mode. It's not totally a bad thing considering that this design is to make it more playable, but it kinda reminds me of the pace in Fortnite than in Redemption multiplayer. I'd also prefer regenerative health, but this is a totally different design.
