I'm still trying to detox from Adversary Modes, paywall headaches, a stagnant Los Santos, and content in GTA Online that went off the deep end years ago.

 

May as well be upfront about it from the get-go, and try to do some damage control on respect.

I've been back there several times today, something has definitely changed.

 

Previously you could catch a sockeye salmon on every cast, without fail, morning or night.

 

Today I haven't caught more than 3 on any single visit. I even tested throwing in dynamite after they stopped biting, not a single salmon killed.

 

I didn't go there very often, because even though the $25 was nice, fishing doesn't gain XP.

 

I'll be happy to be corrected, but this spot in particular does seem to have been nerfed.

The people camping spawning in points from missions.... why? I mean this game doesn’t even track k/d ....

^ the problem there is the game will almost always put you into populated areas. They don't even necessarily have to camp the area. Last night did a strangers, my buddies were bound on waiting out the timer... it was a wagon pick up from pikes basin needed be delivered to the chapel near Armadillo. Basically already sitting there, people just casually spawned in near the drop off all the time. Probably coming out of the hat fits mission. They went out killing them and sh*t in which I didn't participate cause it is so cheap but some argue xp and what not so might as well, whatever.. I can't recall how many times I have been spawn raped before even entering a session after leaving a mission or race series it is ridiculous.

I hid and watched today, they were “ camping”. As far as the xp goes... it’s low hanging fruit .... Says a lot about the people doing it.

I see what you mean by different playstyles. But everyone is diving, "varminting" or shoot/get shot from the back. Those are the only styles i saw so far.

 

Ability cards should be free roam only.

Indeed. Lvl 20 and below should stay away from showddown. That's taking away all that online freedom from them, which is unfair and complete opposite of what Rockstar advertised.

 

High level will just slaughter them with their wide range of bullets and ability cards. There's no skill in that.

You might as well not have an actual competition at all, just join the showdown, compare stats and cards and declare a winner. Totally agree. I might add 2 more PVP Showdown experiences:

 

- run. run, run, run run, bullet in the back

- spawned 230 km from Tumbleweed, run, run, run, run, get shot in the back.

 

Showdown is a  huge step back from Gang Matches we had in RDR 1. There's no ability cards in RDR 1, just pure skill. Also Mexican Standoff absence is embarassing.

I come out of mission, random starts coming towards me I knew he was looking for trouble so I hide under a cliff. He gets near me and headshots me before I can even see where he is. I spawn he headshots me again I still don't even know where he is even though I see him on the map. I go under another cliff and finally see him and shotgun him just for sweet revenge. I try to join up a mission immediately before he comes back but he's somehow able to spawn and headshot me again right before I go into a mission. I was infuriated but also amazed at how crap the spawning is that he was able to do that. With a carbine repeater no less. Please fix it rockstar.

I implore everyone to please send feedback to rockstar about bringing back mexican standoffs at the beginning of matches. Made the game more unique and fun. 

 

Same goes for the cards needing to be balanced in some way. Perhaps they could give everyone a choice of using a group of presets? Or remove them entirely from pvp matches? And make them only available for certain modes like pve if they are implemented and for free roam as well.

Im sick of assholes already. I jsut want to play and explore with friends (even though I've completed story) its still fun to explore, hunt and fish with friends. I cant wait until private lobbies/ a way to lag out privately comes along. 

 

The pay outs are annoying.

 

The only way to get sh*t done is to be in a posse so then everyone has someone to watch incase of xASSHOLEOVERLORD69x comes to f*ck your mission. 

 

The clothing and horses are locked behind bs levels and gold. And our characters look so god damn inbred you have to spend like an hour judt making them look like a normal human

Wasn't getting three feathers supposed to be a bug or glitch? I remember reading somewhere, where shooting games with Varmint Rifle could perfect the carcass or pelt or something. So even if it was 1* or 2* stars, it'd turn into or act like 3* star carcass or pelt? That was supposed to get fixed.

Yeah, well I just shot an Iguana with the VR that was 2 stars and got a perfect skin... So, they didn't fix whatever "glitch" it was causing.

I send them 2 feedback every day. Those feedbacks contain all the deficits i mentioned here. Mexican Standoff at the start of the match is one of many.

It's a load of crap the stuff we waited a month and a half for(Well over the 30 days I might add) costs actual money on Xbox compared to PS where it's FREE

 

All that stuff costs $1,000 total!

 

If it's free on one, it should be free on the other when it comes. Just charge Sony fans on the next one to make things fairer, I wouldn't mind the wait if it was actually the same price as them. Having to both wait and pay when they don't is just bullsh*t

 

Especially when the only thing worth buying is the Arabian and maybe the cold outfit if you go up north enough, right now nothing's really there to make it worth investing in a cold outfit.
