How tha f* this radar cheat works? I always dream being able to play like this so other players just think I'm a npc and be left alone even tho I love getting into fight with scrubs, but mostly I just would like this game to never show anyone on the radar unless they're camping somewhere with a sniper or something. R* really loves to troll us leaving the game like this, if they can't fix it, just let everyone out of the radar and make'em visible when they go hostile.

I never found out how it works, but I have seen a few players in the past use it. Honestly if it is happening more often now it's probably because players are just frustrated with nothing to do and are taking it out on other players, which is wrong in every sense of the word.

Just remove the blips for public servers, and give us our private servers already...

Yeah no sorry, it's not only the blip but it's the first advantage for them.

 

In a lot of FRE's you can see a red castle, a red area on the train, a moving money bag or an armored Fool who is kind of visible now... the (bigger) problem (for me at least) is the lock-on aim-assist! You don't have it at all!

Compare it to a SB player, if I try to PiB him I will 99% miss the shot but most of the time I'm fast enough to quickchange to my Carcano(or Shotgun) and still shot at him/her but if there is no lock-on aim at all, they have the 2nd advantage.

HE/SHE can easy lock on and headshot me (while I'm figuring out what's wrong) but I have to snipe, free-aim or wait for the (pib) mark on him... it's one second but in PvP that's all it takes.

It's like playing a hardcore series and one is always having lock-on aim-assist and you have to find out who! 

 

In Free Roam it's not a big problem just go defensive with Focus Fire+Sharpshooter+PeakCondition+ Landon's Patience and return the favor but if it's a FreeRoamEvent you're looking at which is only 3-4 times a day... it f..king su.ks!!!

With really big player lobbies and you just sit in a dense populated dressed as a npc just watching the world go by!

Why are the gun belt so inconsistent? Some days it is snug and looks great and other days it is a hola hop ring!

And I have noticed lately that that flags sometimes blows in the wind and other times thy are stiff as wood just hanging there.....

Did all the dailies and was all over the map and boy oh boy the game was dead! Found one, ONE! random encounter and it was the fox in Rhodes! No hideouts, no bootlegger or any npc in any shape or form!

I think R* gave up on the game because it is to much work to re-write the code so we get servers instead of this bulls*it p2p to make the game work...... And the 1.21 patch did break the what they could ad to the game!

Speaking of wardrobe customisation, I really don't understand why we cannot mix & match the role clothing pieces with regular clothing or with other role clothing. I would love to be able to have my character wear those moonshiner trousers without having to be forced to wear them with the top half of the same moonshiner role outfit. 😑😒

I haven't played CTA for a couple of months but several times when I did play it, I got stuck with very low level players as well (usually just me and 1 other).

Ya any of that content even is welcome or in GTA it'd be nice having more of the clothing just unlocked like that too. And they really have put back the Call To Arms Halloween and Christmas levels they had, their lack of thought with this stuff irks me when the game lacks any new life coming. Even just off the radar repaired too then I'd be like, at least they tried with what the scraps of care they had left for it. This is minimum after they put out that patch that broke a lot of clothing with clipping and hair styles. May never come to fruition, such sadness and we're not even asking for new content with with these ideas. Just let it die a somewhat decent death...

At first it the hair would clip through the neckline, which was kind of bothersome but at least you could tell the character still had longer hair when wearing high collar outfits. Then they decided to literally pin the hair inside of the collar, which kind of defeats the purpose of the longer hair styles if most of your wardrobe consists of the popped collar look.

Now, or at least the last time I logged on a week or so ago, my gunslinger's hair just floats outward and above some of the collars. This helps the problem some, but I am not so fond of my already "pretty😉" bad guy looking like he's using Suave "super bounce" shampoo or something. What's worse is that when he moves the wind pushes the ends of his hair upward and now it looks like he's trying for the Fabio effect with a fan, unfortunately he's just doing it all wrong.

Like the gun belts? Why are they still rigid and sit way too far from the chest for the bandoliers, and way too far around the hips like the gun belts do? The meshes should be able to read the focus of their collision and press against it, not sit out away from it. Argh!!

I feel like my Ruvik is running around fumbling at his his gun belt just to keep it around his hips.

Oh ya they can fix this all like 90 percent sure if they wanted to. And they know of every flaw mentioned on Youtube/Twitter or on here, you know they do because how fast they update for money exploits they have employees researching this so they know what is wrong 100 percent they're a very aware but silent company as we know. Was a fast paced quick fix with the collar. They seem to either be time constraint or the care by the people they put on it, maybe newbie developers? When it was better in some areas before now it's just a mess.

 

My one friend has long hair like yours on his dude too like a hillbilly dirty guy and if he loses his hat his hair goes through his scalp while moving he never likes losing it and he likes the hair for his guy's style but it shouldn't be broken like that. I have a friend with a female character and the neckties or anything around the neck are all broken missing polygons everywhere still (Even from the battle passes which some people paid for maybe) with open coats, they've been like that since the clothing physics update we're mentioning. Also now all clothing for females like rare corsets or skirts clip through so you can't wear almost any of the coats without it all piercing the coats, it's very obvious. Also some flaw with horses if you change hats they get added to the wardrobe automatically so if you're wearing a head accessory it removes the outfit accessories off the outfit but I think it's for females only on that one. I guess you'd know these since we're both playing this still ha.

 

Its terrible more when they change it, it gets worse then they leave it and go welp we tried move on when they have the resources to make it right for the send off. I have this happen in many other games as the game gets to a final closure update they just abandon it leaving the game in a worse state then harming the overall experience for ever. Create more problems then left it because final patch... Hey conspiracy time? Maybe they leave this and break things to make people play the most modern game versions or controlling where they go for monetization? Because everyone has everything already?

 

A Darn shame either way with these decisions with abandoned services it shows they really don't care enough, the people making decisions I mean. The developers probably care and have great ideas about it but they don't make the decisions so they see this train wreck with their past work go to waste getting a bad rep, so sad. I guess we're all just ranting on here still for a community lively game but looking as dead service. Hope this game is on a long content pause like GTA was for a bit so then some things may be addressed even if it's down the line it's something for the dedicated.

My husband's character has that very same problem. Sometimes it sits inside of his character's scalp giving him a rather unappealing "balding" look, and I honestly don't know how he can play that boy when he hasn't got a hat on. Every time he turns his character that hair just flips away from the scalp. Lol

The hair that my character currently has tends to do this weird stretching thing, and I thought they had fixed it but it still happens from time to time. What happens is it seems like the ends of his hair don't move and when he does it kind of sticks behind him and stretches for a bit before it sort of boomerangs back onto him... Lol, I don't know how else to explain it, also I don't see it although other players can.

And my daughter's female character has the style with the long braid and it sticks out rigid behind her character. 

 

It truly is a sad spectacle watching them abandon this game like they are.

So apparently I never knew this since I don’t shoot up towns too often but I managed to get a pretty high bounty and decided to have some fun in San Denis. 

 

The first wave of bounty hunters come. I wipe them all out and the prompt to leave the area comes up. I don’t leave. I run around for about 15 minutes murdering everyone in sight. Then after a lull in the massacre and the streets quiet a little and peds have run away I die instantly. No enemies on the map, no red dots. No skulls. Kill screen states killed by bounty hunter with a carbine repeater. 

 

So this is Rockstars way of stamping out the modicum of fun you can possibly have by faking you fall down dead if you don’t leave the red zone? I thought it was a bit weird since the blue cops all didn’t care that I was tearing up the town after the bounty hunters were killed, but the artificial suicide and claiming a kill from an enemy that wasn’t even there, AND the fact I had gold inner and outer cores as I flopped to the ground (captured the last 10 mins of footage, looks so stupid) I’m really surprised when I know I shouldn’t be. Rockstar are the fun police and I know better that the little fun shootout was too good to be true. Only claimed $17.70 out of a current 885k so no stress but sheesh… At least I know for future scraps I’m gonna get gimped for sticking around. SMH. I really, really hate the wanted / witness system.

Forced 'Hard' difficulty on the Telegrams....

UGH!

It's sh*tty design, chose the Arabian one as it was lower difficulty than Outrider... but I had to tame the f*cker and it kept kicking me off! Then the guys started respawning to chase me but the Arabian was still being a piece of sh*t so I got spawn raped. Quit and started Outrider, swapped to explosive ammo on Rifle, Repeater, Revolver and Pistol. DONE!

 

It's not fun.... Harder should just be no respawns. If I wanted to play Freeaim, I'd be in f*cking Freeaim!

Maaan, stealth is garbage in this game. GTA has never been great at it, but got around it by ...not really bothering all that much (aside from a couple of stupid insta-fail moments in Heists, or a couple of missions where using silenced weapons does let you take everyone out without triggering a firefight). But in RDR2, you have this awful 'half-stealth' approach where radar blips are intermittent and you can't keep track of enemies (which ...why assume my character has piss-poor situational awareness, Rockstar?), and enemies operate on a Borg-style hive mind, where the instant a bad guy switches to 'hostile', everyone does, and knows exactly where you are. :wtf: This is particularly funny when dealing with the police, where accidentally nudging someone in town triggers a wanted level, and every cop in the state automatically homes in on your location - or that one mission in the story where Arthur goes from accidentally running into a couple of O'Driscolls to having several dozen home in on him from all directions, from miles around. GPS must have been really good in the 1890s, huh... :sigh:

 

So, for instance, I did the horse rustlin' telegram mission for the weekly reward, and tried to stealth it, by taking out one of the guards on a rooftop. He went down, no-one saw, and he was too high up for anyone to see the body - except another guy walked past the building at ground level, got right to the far side, and then randomly spotted 'a body' (despite, yanno, being all the way on top of an inaccessible roof), and cue the usual several dozen goons all instantly aware of what happened, who was responsible (me), and exactly where I was. Even in a game with 'Metal Gear lite' stealth, like Watch Dogs Legion or Cyberpunk 2077, finding a body makes the enemies start searching for you, because they've gone from a 'default' state to 'suspicious' - but in RDO, doing anything even lightly suspicious operates like setting off an alarm in a building with security cameras.

 

And to add insult to injury, unlike in a stealth game, where going loud means being outnumbered and outgunned, and often needing to hunker down and lose the heat, this is a Rockstar game, so it's actually easier to run around and just blow people away like a typical GTA one-man-army. Not particularly satisfying, or challenging, or period appropriate, mind - but it did get the mission done, in a manner that was about as engaging to play as watching a tutorial on YooToob. :bored:

That only happens to me when I'm healing on an incline, not being a smart ass maybe you know already. Lol just if you heal on stairs for example you'll freeze unless pushed a lot by fellow players that unfreezes a bit sooner. This happened to me most in Valentine with the person at the top of the stairs. I still get the freezing in walk animation when I try to dig Collectables sometimes have to literally quit the game to stop walking O_o

News to me on this never shot up towns but definetly fun police again lol. I have noticed in Call to arms if you sit in a building too long like Doctors office or saloon to have fun they spawn enemies even wagons on top of you which sucks big time especially in Valentine. Realism gone too lol.

It happens sometimes when putting up the wilderness camp too.... Just like the game messes up the hitboxes and don´t know how to break the animation!

Ya I really hope it eventually gets this stuff taken care of even a little bit like these animation bugs Ive been killed a lot by them but luckily just by NPCs. I was just playing call to arms again we did 3 of them and the third one they were spawning on top of us in the Blackwater saloon, horse, buggys, wagons even in the walls. Such a shame with these game breaking issues. Hope it gets some care some day it's so much more fun with gun play than GTA.

The bugs will not be fixed. There are loads of them that have been there since day one, especially the ones caused by big lobbys which can easily be fixed by reducing lobby sizes but they won't do it, so that should tell you something. Other bugs, well, I don't think they even know how to fix them if they wanted to, but at this point it seems they've given up on RDO.

It was a little sus because I was practically playing with no wanted and I guess the mission couldn’t end unless I left, but moonshine destroy missions don’t require you leave the area if the timer reaches zero, the game just auto-completes the mission! And, in Bounty Hunter free roam, you get switched to no wanted whilst engaging in mission content! So other instances where random free mode content plays has no issues completing by design, but if you even dare to shoot up a town and not “lEaVe tHe aReA” when prompted like a good little player, you’ll get forced to leave, by artificially getting your bounty claimed immediately and auto suiciding if you’re having even the slightest amount of fun. Sigh.
 

The fact every single npc quivers at the sight of a fight, you being the victim ofc makes them stop stare and gasp in shock (and probably cheering on the npc beating 10 bells of sh*t outta you) doesn’t force their hand to shout “I’m getting the law involved here!” BUT the second, the mere idea of punching back triggers the ‘WITNESS’ to race as fast as humanly (and inhumanly!!) possible to the nearest town using horse KERS to tell the sheriff boils by blood something fierce, but enough about that. The gimping whilst “avoiding” bounty hunters was beyond the pail the other day. 😤

Npc not calling cops on other npc is boring and sedate a predator and drag it to town doesn´t make them hunt npc.....
