These locations still spawn in solo or low lobby populations. Sometimes the hideout will spawn, without the icon on the map; look for pillars of smoke.

 

Switching sessions can also, make gang hideouts and ambushes appear. Riding trains around the map, with the map open works sometimes (believe it or not).

I just got the Colter one again. Literally just sat on my horse up the way toward Carin Lake (Actually only about a 5 second trot from Angry Mexican Man's Rambleshackle building) while paused for about 10 minutes and it spawned. 

This game has some issues spawn system wise man. I understand the "but spawning it in front of you breaks the immersion" however the line of sighting system is so overly zealous with it, that is sometimes has the exact opposite effect and breaks said "immersion". Either nothing spawns at all, or you get my favorite when bounty hunting. A f*cking Cougar or Grizzly Bear spawning randomly just on the corner of your POV less than five feet away with no way to possibly react and even when you can the game for some reason will do the now infamous "Refusal to Aim or Fire Weapon" glitch that has gotten me and several friends killed in missions.

I wish I was jokin' here but me and a friend (who called it a night do to this) got wanted for merely sitting on the front deck of the Gunsmith Shop in Rhodes. I also got charged with "Unarmed Assault" because a random NPC yelled "OH IT'S FIGHTIN TIME!" And hit me. I got charged with a crime that the NPC literally committed. This isn't even discussing the random "WANTED: Outlaw" moments in the middle of f*cking no where because.......yeah idfk either I got wanted for merely resting at Camp one time with no bounty on my head.

I once got a wanted level for murder when I was in the stable buying carrots for my horse? I literally just started the game and the first thing I did was rode into the stable and that's what it got me.

Same kind of thing happened to me in GTAO too, I bought some clothes from the gun shop and when I came out of the buy screen I had a three star wanted level? Shopping in these games can be risky apparently.

Uhm...is that even a thing in this game? But no really it didn't even give us a reason. In fact they saw him and shot on sight despite him not getting a wanted level. In fact the same day he got a, no joke. 1 cent, yes a bounty of a Penny, while we were at the bar in Valentine. His crime? We don't know drinking beer I guess?

Actually solo lobbies have their own issues as well. Some of these issues I think are purely tied to the server-side stuff on RDO, even in missions where it's a private instance (legendary bounties and such) have shown utterly baffling issues. I have a clip where for some reason my horse when full Invisible Boat Mobile during a legendary bounty, I could take weapons from my horse but literally nothing else. Had to literally carry the bounty for about a mile before my horse actually spawned in again.  

I find very few issues, at least none as serious as in full lobbies, but I also don't do legendary bounties so I don't know about them.

 

One issue that is minor but annoyed me to no end was being thrown from the horse when entering a stable. Occassional graphic glitches, but compared to populated lobbies it's night and day.

Don't know if I would be proud of that one or not, being the 1 cent bounty bandit just doesn't seem so prestigious after all. And a penny bounty seems pretty harsh for just existing and liking beer I think.

It definitely could have been because of other players, the reason I high tailed it into the stable was because there were a few players shooting it out in the streets. Maybe they got me for association, perhaps?

Apparently lassoing a dead legendary animal too far automatically despawns? Happened 3 times now with the Owiza. Inches before camp, poof. Got footage too cause I was purposely looking behind me this time to make sure it wasn’t just my fault the first two times. Disappearing bear and I drag the lasso in like I was never pulling anything.

 

What reason is there to despawn it? Is the code so pathetic they see the “instance” as complete so remove all objects associated with the random event? Like wow. my horse and hunting wagon were full otherwise I’d of stashed it but because I’m a good f*cking hunter I get penalised?!! Ugh!!

Maybe the game thinks you're trying to donate the entire carcass to camp instead of just the pelt as intended? Could be a check of sort put in place by R* lol

Lol, last I checked I weren’t strong enough to lift bears up to donate but yeah, definitely a check of sorts.

Did Rockstar screw up fishing at some point in the past? Because every time I've tried going for a larger fish (pike, sturgeon, etc.) in the last year or so, it's been impossible - used to be easy enough, but now reeling in does nothing, and yanking back the line also doesn't do much.

 

Nearly ground my controller into powder just trying to get a channel catfish earlier - and it's not a deadzone/sensitivity thing, either, since everything else in the game responds just fine. As it is, it feels like the game doesn't register the 'reel in' input at all for bigger fish - might as well just throw a lure into the mud, and save a lot of time and effort for the same result.

Try setting it so you just have to push the x button to reel.

Shame, because I like the general idea of using the stick to simulate actually reeling the fish in, but for the last year or so, I've gone from being able to get perfect catfish and pike every time, to watching them get further and further away because the reeling input does basically nothing.

I find it funny that the first 2-3 weeks of bonuses last month I got without actually completing the requirements, but the last two weeks I actually completed the requirements for the free vest and 3 gold bars but didn't receive either. FN dumbasses

I do wish there was a proper indication whenever the game saves - in GTAO, you get the little orange whirly thing in the corner, and in Forza there's a similar thing. It'd be good to have a variation on the revolver barrel loading icon as a save indicator.

Right now, I do a bunch of small things like swapping outfits and swapping an ability card - the former because that triggers a save in GTAO, and the latter because I'll know if the game's saved at that point, because I can check my card loadout on the website. But it's just a minor annoyance (in any game with an autosave system) to not know: 1) when the game autosaves, and 2) what specifically triggers an autosave.

imagine being over rank 500 and needing to use off the radar cheats to kill players. i just encountered this piece of dog sh*t. i had just found treasure for the daily challenge. i was about to leave when i see new players spawning next to me. i think oh cool maybe i could make a friend. nope as soon as they saw me they instantly killed me. then i respawned and saw it was 3 players. and all of them were off radar. and one guy was over rank 500. they were off the radar and i couldn't lock on to them. i normally love a pvp fight but there was no point fighting cheaters. i just reported him and left. do these fools really think they are good when they cheat? i know im not the best rdo pvp player. but im still pretty good. and its more fun playing fair because if you do win a gunfight it feels rewarding. how could anyone feel proud of themselves for hiding from the radar and shooting people in the back. what a bunch of pathetic cowards. i have a feeling my report wont do much because rockstar have neglected rdo. but i hope this sob gets his karma.

Rockstar really are useless with this issue; I've already reported 3 players for this exact same cheat/exploit (with footage and all). They clearly don't give a sh*t even though they claim to take cheating seriously. Spare me your 'caring' bs R*. It's so disappointing and frustrating that they are doing nothing about this despite this cheat being around for a couple of years now at least.

I remember once - ahh, what the f..k - Hoplon-T cursed first then wrote me: 'I would be a noob, off-radar isn't cheating and he's the King .'

Saw him shortly after in a 'normal' CdH (off-radar didn't work.!?) and he got farmed sooo bad -> I have pics and a vid! 

DariaFrost and Pak_Whiff7 (both RATS) are amongst the worst... I haven't seen them being 'on the radar' since the BH extenstion a long time ago! I've sent numerous reports and videos but nothing happened so far... and they're just the tip of the ice.

 

Orcuverde even shows on his Insta how to do it and how great he supposely is doing it... what a pathetic bunch of losers! IrisVonEverec- & OlgerdVonEverec- ... pfff.

You must be a special little wimp with a pathetic, sad su.king life that you have to cheat in a Videogame over and over and over! 

Again, these are all high level players in the 500, 600 or up to a 1000.

I would be all up for a 'Hunt & Kill every Off-Radar-Glitcher'-Community on RDO... but that won't work cause nearly every major PvP-crew uses off-radar-nothings (or worst godmode losers) if they're losing the fair fight.

 

This needed to be said and I don't care if I get banned... so if C* isn't doing anything against them (and they're clearly not -> Blood Money fixed nothing and no patch so far!!!) I will at least name them and put them out in the open.

Sad part is that it doesn't matter what they do wrong, people will continue to mindlessly give them their money. I've seen people on this forum say things like I work 70 hours a week and can't sit there grinding like you all day therefore I buy shark cards. Basically he grinds real life to buy supercars. Really sad what they have done to red dead online.

This. It’s every day now. I’ve reported dozens with video footage to rockstar and we report in the match as well.  It’s a special kind of trash player that exploits this but rockstar have proven they are absolutely useless at ensuring fair play. Their days as a respected developer are long gone.
