The casino heist was fun and a small step in the right direction sadly the Island heist was two steps backwards when it comes to fun! They just script everything to hard so when we trying to be creative and fun with the content we get it feels lackluster! 

Right now there are two treads I want to tie a knot on! One is Miss LeClerk and the other is the dude in "Wrong side of the tracks"! But it just might not happening!

Storytelling laser focused, on Red Dead lore. And heavy use of western movie, easter eggs. The western genre, spans a full century; that's an incredible source for material.

 

If Rockstar, wants to reuse missions. Give us, the missions from RDR1.

If they'd give us some activity that is original, fun, and can last more than a week or two I might go for that. But not more of the same. Let us open a legit business like a saloon or goods store. Geez, once you get your money up to a point where your character is the richest person in the world, working for someone else makes no sense.

 

This stuff is fine for newer players who need money but R* only focuses on the newer players and doesn't care about the long time players at all. If they did they'd allow our characters to progress but here we are, still stuck in camp running missions. This update convinces me once and for all that's all the future of the game holds. So much for "potential".

 

This update was an opportunity for R* to show long time players that they matter but, to me, they did the opposite.

 

Yeah, the same mistake they incurred with gta originals heist, "every crime" should be able to be solo-ed. capable players that want to "have fun while being serious and not playing the dumb" are scarce.

 

So yeah, the chance of forming a syndicate or posse with  customizable npcs to commit crimes should be there along the traditional player coop, and it would be nice if it were harder when supported by the IA. In the end, the game is in part an action rpg set in a western sandbox, and further expanding this nature wont hurt the setting. 

 

Basically a western take on assasins creed brotherhood, shadow of war and gta v system in what its worth. That would be cool,  a whole purpose to the game aside spending money via items.

 

Monetization plus their lack of creativity and laziness are the issue.

Its one of the few games I've never deleted from my Xbox One 

(Best Day Ever when that went backwards compatible, from xbox 360.)

Its fun just to go back in the end game sometimes, walking around with the adult Marsten kid (whom I'm not really a fan of...)

and play liars dice or something; cowboy liar's dice simulation!!!  (NEED liar's dice in RDR2 Online!)

 

I think that is also one of the few games I ever got 100 percent completed too, all the stupid things like "kill grizzlies with a knife" or junk.

Patch notes read like a bunch of nothing. They’re wasting it. Change of the guard, COVID, or whatever excuse their is to make, they are absolutely not doing enough with their resources. Not even close.

I think RDO has been lackluster since day one. I've also already said it before, yet I find myself repeating it after every damn update - R* has no clue what to do with this game.

 

I had really low expectations for this update. The trailer looked like the typical sugarcoating R* has been doing with RDO since forever, polishing a turd so to speak. But dajum, this sh*t just sucks. The least I expected was some sort of ugly clothing I didn't wanna buy, but not even that. Seriously - not even new clothing. But we do get Dutch's outfit and a Cattleman skin, in the new gold bar pass. Wow.

 

R* really outdid themselves with this one. Bravo. Here's hoping for the upcoming GTA update instead.

By small camp i mean the one we got some months back wild camp i believe 

So just tried a moonshine sale was a %50 dollar one as always only do them which with ingredients normally pays $206 Well that now pays $75

They didn't even have the decency to add the M1898 pistol despite it being in the game and it is used by Brontes men. It would have been the perfect time to add a more civilised weapon.

And you guys complained about Cyberpunk lol. Well I got bored after 2 missions. See you guys in like... a year and a half
