Yes, I expected trader/whatever prestigious NOW; Pass seems silly with "role xp" bonus WITHOUT another prestigious (unless you are not maxed in roles, yet.)

 

At least there is a reason for me to get xp, I suppose. Oh, plus that slight increase in regular Varmint ammo!!!!

Why are the outlaw pass clothing items always outlandishly crazy looking? I think people would just

like some new/different clothing 3d model items, which look cool. I might wear the wacky hats, though.

Ah, did not know that; I selected "skinny" when making character, for reasons like that (MAX overweight just looks "average" then, so I'm always max overweight.)

 

 

(Ah, I see (referencing post below), hmm... maybe my gun belt is larger, was just in game and it did seem oversized/hanging off me a bit, not sure if always that bad.)

Well, you see, the problem, at least with the athletic build, is that the body itself doesn't change shape, only the gunbelts get bigger, so it ends up looking really stupid.

You know there just has to be some people who are excited about the straw beard. I haven't looked on reddit or anyplace else, but there has to be some, most likely kids.

Last night I had my first obnoxious player in a long time. He/she was level 413 and killed me and my horse while I was in defensive as I was riding into Rhodes. Than as I was trying to make my way to the post office as they had spawned me by the Parlor house they killed me again. 

 

I was still in defensive...

They challenged me to a feud and I did not accept because I was just not feeling a pvp fight, and I thought that this "would" tell the player that I wasn't into a fight with them. Typically players understand that and move on, well I was wrong, they tried to kill me again.

This time I got on my horse and literally raced around Rhodes with them trying to shoot me off, which was hilarious because I am pretty good at maneuvering my horse around and they actually helped me out by giving me my shaded grey Turkoman as a stand in for the Trotter that the player had killed. So I fed my horse to give him gold cores, ate some minty big game, hit some of the level three tonic and when the player tried to take down my horse again I killed him with my repeater loaded with explosive rounds. This time I downed his horse too and normally I will go revive them because I am not a jerk, but I took the $4 loss and headed to the station. 

 

The player killed another player who rode into town before they came to the station to "taunt" me. It is actually the first time I was able to use the "give me your best shot" emote on an a-hole so there is that. 

He literally wandered around the station for a few minutes as I stood there on the front porch just watching him be a buffoon trying to provoke me into a fight that I didn't want. Lol, I mean how hard up did you have to be to waste time like that? It wasn't wasting my time, I literally was just bumming around before he started to attack me so it wasn't like he was getting on my nerves. And I am not going to be bullied off of a server either.

Instead as he was trying to blow me up and lasso me I went and got me a snack.

 

He finally gets the law after him and takes off.

 

So later in the night I am doing one of the random rescue encounters up by Valentine and as I am riding with the lady back to town I suddenly get bullets flying by my head and guess what, it's that player coming after me again. This time I wasn't in defensive mode so I was ready to turn on him but he couldn't hit me or my horse although he tried. 

Funny thing is that he stopped short of chasing me into Valentine, I have to wonder if it had something to do with the fact that there was a high level four person posse wandering about in town?

 

I ran into so many players last night though, and everyone else was cool. But sometimes there is that one bad apple in the bunch.

Yeah I've been getting griefed quite a bit recently. Had a 4-man posse start sh*t when we all loaded back into free roam after doing a Sidearms Kills Challenge event at Braithwaite Manor last week. All quite high ranks too, 300+/400+. Turns out, I had 2 of these 4 players already blocked when I went to message them to find out what gives - I ran into them at some point back in November last year and by sheer chance end up in a lobby with them again this month! Couldn't fight them all and 4v1 isn't fair but thankfully was able to set up wilderness camp which seemed to stop them as one kept shooting at me but it didn't do anything.

 

Lots of high level bully players polluting the servers at the moment.

I hope this isn't the start of something, but I hit a random roadblock to get the NPC dailies done today and went to loot the lockbox in the white wagon and there was no gold watch.

The regular revolver rounds, cocaine gum, and moonshine were there but no watch.

I did a random 'destroy the rival operation' shine camp mission earlier, which also has a lockbox with a gold watch and a money clip and they were there as usual, but I've never seen the wagon lockbox without a watch.

It's weird they'd change that, maybe it was a glitch or something, I definitely wasn't full (capacity is 5), I'd sold the one I looted earlier at Emerald fence.

It makes sense that more and more high level players are resorting to that kind of thing since R* has been giving long time players nothing for a long time and the game is boring as hell to long timers. Still, if they are that bored why play the game.

Remove the f*cking moonshine from the healing items wheel. It's annoying to accidentally get drunk during a fight + it damages the health core so I hate it. And I'd rather use it on crafting items anyways

I swear....what is the point of spawning a bounty hunter who gets killed by a bounty player right next to the bounty player, so the bounty hunter can repeatedly try to kill the bounty.  When the hunter finally succeeds, it spawns the bounty player across the f'ing map.  So, the bounty player cannot kill the hunter for coming for the bounty....this system is the absolute dumbest shoddiest piece of crap in the game.  It used to be alright.  A player kills you with an instant head shot or with explosives....whatever, stand there and fight them.  Now its spawning you across the map, so the hunter who has been repeatedly killed can carry your body to the sheriff without the hassle of you know the bounty player that they have intentionally harassed for their "bounty"...what a trash game.

Yeah, that thing is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!

 

Also, if you CAN set it up then you can INSTANTLY fast travel too.

 

It is funny that it doesn't let you right away, if a 'lil rattlesnake is spooking your horse "Can't set up wilderness camp, HOSTILES NEARBY!!!", but you 

can with players after you.

I always switch to potent health, potent stamina and potent snake upon logging in; I also get the food one over minty  big game.

I hate how like the lasso/knife slots, I'm always having to move those to what I want when I get in (OR after leaving, sometimes even joining, a showdown/whatever.)

Man, sometimes the game just has it in for me, I swear.  Doing the last LeClerk mission in Blackwater.  I fight through the mission, revive all three of the other players on 4 separate occasions, and jump in Ms LeClerk's wagon to leave town.  I come around the corner and BOOM pumpaction shotgun shot from around 30 feet away headshot and I'm dead.  I was full gold cores, running a L2 health tonic, and running Slow and Steady (I meant to have Paint it Black, but forgot to change it before the mission), and he STILL instantly oneshots me, from miles away before I can even fire a shot.  Everyone else on the team gets to be revived, but no, the game has to instantly oneshot me despite all the defenses I had running.

Most annoying.

I logged on this week after almost a year, in 15 minutes i had 2 deal with 2 griefers already, like you, i didnt react  so both of them shot my horse.

So i went back 2 single player, imho its not RDO but GTA on horses, and with all the stupid clothing and stuff they bring in instead of authentic looking western clothing etc.

Not even gonna buy a ps5 now i know that RDR2 is running 30 fps on a so called next gen console instead of 60 fps, and the graphics degradation because of blurriness.

Its all about greed nowadays so i will spend my money on other stuff in the future.

 

Also still no invite only sessions, im playing RDR1 multiplayer with my younger brother on ps4 now instead and we have a lotta fun in our invite only session, we play the coop missions from time 2 time too.

RDO is a scam imho.

 

There is so much more that i could get into about this rip off thats called RDR2 and RDO but i wont for now..., R* and Take 2 can go F... themselves for all i care.

We believe we have identified and now prevented the Inventory Wipe/Items Disappearing issue from occurring.

We actually published the fix for this issue on Monday, but have been using the days since then to verify whether our resolution has been successful in order to not make any false promises. Today’s patch has added an extra safeguard against this issue occurring in future based on our findings.

To that end, we would please ask any players who have had their inventory wiped on any of the following days to please let us know via the Steam forums:

Tuesday, March 16th

Wednesday, March 17th

Thursday, March 18th

Today or any day after today (Friday, March 19th)

We hope that no inventory wipes should have occurred during these days, but we want to ensure that this issue has been resolved, so please do let us know!
 

Restoration:

Now that we believe that the issue has been prevented going forward, we can focus a bit more on how we plan to compensate affected players.

We fully understand the disappointment of feeling like you have lost significant progress, items or time, and we would like to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to make things right.

While we are still working on the exact technicalities, below are our intentions for item restorations:

 

Restoration should take place on a specific day and should be a one-time event

The exact date is TBC but we’re hoping for this to occur prior to the launch on April 1

We will update you when we have confirmation of date and timings

We will only be able to restore Legendary items that have been lost as a result of this bug

We will not be able to restore items of a rarity below Legendary

At this time you do not need to get in touch with us to report inventory disappearances that occurred prior to Monday March 15th.

 

Please note that these are our intentions that we are providing here for transparency. While we will try our hardest to make things right, we unfortunately cannot make guarantees for the specifics of the above or the timeline of this, as we may run into technical difficulties that delay our work.

 

Accolades:

This appears to be a separate issue and we do still need to uncover the full extent of it in order to better tailor our resolution for it.

To that end, could anyone who has had their accolades wiped, please let us know in the Steam forums.

Understanding the numbers of players affected by this will help us greatly as we continue to investigate this issue.

I'm not sure expectations can get much lower.  They're more concerned with shoving their battle pass crap in the game then they are the actual game. I just looked over the new outlaw pass, not only do they think 20-50% coupons are good rewards (that expire when did that become a good idea?), they don't even give you your 35 gold back.  Unless I'm missing something the rewards from the pass only awards 26 gold. Most of the stuff in this pass is crap.

Now I wonder if the 10 GB rebate was supposed to be subtracted from the price upon purchase - or I'll get the gold back later (on a coupon maybe) - Still hasn't got any rebate or gold back .. So .. Not even surprised - more like; okay, this went like I thought it would .. Good on you RockStar, Keep it up ...

You'll get the rebate within 24-48 hours usually, I've already received mine just keep an eye on your gold, I barely noticed due to the amount I have though!
