I ran into that a few times.

Pretty sure the despawns are because of the lobby merging. Had this happen while tracking a legendary. I was right on his tail and it despawned right in front of me. I checked the player list right after and it had jumped from around 10 people to 18.

That makes sense, I never see it as I'm in solo sessions.

Only rarely do bodies despawn after clearing a roadblock or camp defense.

Hasn't been playing a lot the last couple of days (been spamming this fora with StyxTx ..) Only did a couple of the daily's each day .. Cripps is nearly ready to roll (97) .. But not in the mood to get exploded by griefers or other good people ..

 

And Harriet is quite mad - starts to yell and talk trash, everytime I'm getting near her tent .. Not much to do, other than go see a movie on Disney+ .. (Did see Tombstone with Russel and Kilmer yesterday .. )

Same here on xbox. The problem is that the animals/npcs/etc are not in the same place at the same time in all lobbies so when there's a merge, one lobby is going to get the despawns. I'm guessing this was their "fix" for us having those small lobbies for so long. I would think they could at least fix the gold core loss though.

 

It isn't a terrible thing they implemented, but as with all their "fixes," they always create more problems. My biggest gripe with the merging is moving my camp. I am very picky with camp locations and it seems the other lobby I get merged with always gets priority and my camp gets moved way up in the grizzlies or somewhere and I lose my prime camp spot.

There’s no way I’m gonna get outlaw pass 4 finished. I’m at level 37 now I think and I have zero desire to play this game. Popped it in for a little bit one day last week. Was gonna do some of the infamous bounties...but the timers completely ruin it. Twice in a row the timer ran out on me and I wasted 15 minutes. On the second one the timer started with 2:15 left.  Lol what the mother f*ck is that!?  I was farther than 2:15 away from the nearest jail. I rage quit and haven’t been back. Timers make sense in platformers and other puzzle based games, but here they make absolutely no sense at all. The only purpose they serve is to keep you from getting paid. It’s artificial difficulty. It doesn’t actually test your skill at all, it’s only purpose is to rob and frustrate. 
 

this game sucks, y’all.

That is why I never "bought" the Bounty role - Both my boys have it, and I hear them shout and scream at the game sometimes .. One bounty target and you get 20 minutes, although the target is just in the other end of town .. 4 or 6 bounty targets, and they all hide in the other end of the map, on the top of a mountain with no acces at all, and you get 4 minutes ...

I actually enjoy trying to do better on that mountain one (near Mt. Hagen/whatever with the fort up there or something.)

Second thing I learned, even on cinematic view, the stupid bounty wagon is going to careen over a cliff.

So what I was doing was just throwing one guy on my horse, then riding down to the guy waiting with the wagon; at least

you get SOME of the guys done and bounty completed (with some guys not turned in.)

 

Another way I'm going to try, next time, is drop the dead bounty guys off the back/low side, where there

is a little road/trail by the other side of the mountain. Then I'll fall/climb down there and summon the bounty

wagon (might have an option to deliver to a sheriff instead of back around by the guy with the wagon.)

 

Bounty Hunter has actually been some of the most fun for me, because there are ways to figure them out in

order to do them the best.

 

I had a six person $$$ yesterday, which I manged to turn in for both the dailies

This was not far from Armadillo, kind of at a little "Mexican" looking settlement.

I rode in, killed all but two (ones who were hiding in one room, whom I hogtied), summoned the wagon

and started throwing guys in while new dudes were coming I had to kill; was surprised I still made

it with 5 minutes left. I find that if I DON'T kill some of them, when there are six or something, some escape.

Yo what the heck is wrong with mirrors in this game? I have been to the wardrobe in Blackwater and in the mirror were some purple-ish patches in the clothes as well as the wall behind my character appearing as part of her in the reflection, like what?

One of the great things about not needing money, gold or xp is that I can kill them all. Heck with taking them alive.

Been having a bug since the last update, which prevents me from saving any outfits. Some research told me that it's due my character's bald haircut, yet switching it to a different didn't fix anything.

So one of my favorite part of this game has been disabled for a while now and i can't even contact support, since they tend to reset characters for fun now.

I see R* brought back the old feature "try and start a sale and get thrown into a black loading screen indefinitely".

 

Tried starting one (full stock Trader local sale) with a friend. Black screen. Restarted game, joined back into his session, tried to start. Black screen, closed and restarted app again, loaded into different session and my friend joined there. Tried to start sale. Black screen. Quit game, restarted, tried again. Black loading screen. Quit game, got back in. Black loading screen, black loading screen. Black Loading Screen. Loading black screen, screen's black and loading, loading quit app restart get back in tryina start black screen loading black loading screen black. Went to bed.

Someone at R* thought that was a feature that was highly popular and for once they wanted to give the players something they enjoyed immensely just to show that they do care about what players want.

I had a hard time getting into lobbies from the main menu over the weekend.  I would choose to spawn at camp and the loading screen would get stuck @ 80 or 90% and I would have to close the game.  It took 2-3 attempts each log in all weekend long, and also LONG loading screens after story missions.

Get all your outfits that you are not wearing out of the saddles. That may help with that and with the deleted outfits bug. I tried that and never had issues since the update.

I thought this may be caused with me getting a collector saddle. I removed all of the outfits from it and even switched back to the default one. Nothing helped so far.

I might just give the next one a miss.

Whatever extra ammo pouch upgrades there will be (I forget), well, I've been living without them for over a year, so unless there's something like equivalent to the fast travel from the wilderness camp, it's a no go.

The clothes look like sh*t, the vouchers are almost all useless, you don't necessarily get your gold back, the last one was broken for a couple of weeks at the start.
