And I have 1 challenge left for 7/7 9/9, the Posse Inflight one. I'm not on .5 gold bars reward on my #2 character, so f*ck the few extra nuggets. lol

I've noticed lately that he has been the only buyer for me and it's the same flavor I always make, the one with the creek plum. Granted, I don't check every day but even doing that I've always had him and 1 other buyer to choose from

What pisses me off is that I'm trying to get the horse to get a move on it but it stops till the cougar gets there then tosses me. The other thing I can't stand is the automatic camera swing when being chased by a predator. Keep having to adjust the camera so I can see where I'm going. I'm not the damn horse so the camera should be focused where I'm looking.

I usually figure at some point it's not worth my time.

If I'm engaged with other activities I'll wait, but for just one thing with nothing else really pressing going on?

It's perspective, especially when I know I'm not getting 7/7 for the day, and extra single daily ain't gonna matter.

I'm doing most of them on my second character, as that one still needs some funds. My main character gets a few easy dailies done for the streak. There is no need for gold grinding for that one. It's more fun to do when it's needed

Not sold the garbage since march because of the infinite loading screens, c**kstar bots suggested changing the dns, that was a monumental fail as expected.

I'll tell them when I write that I already did what they always suggest before I wrote them but they still send a message to do those things. I don't think they actually read what we write. I think they just have specific order they go in with their responses.

Just reload the game, pick free roam and go for it again. I've had a few black screens, but never waited out long to reload the game. A +10 sec loading screen is long enough to know it won't load as intended.

I lose my shine when I get the black screen. 

 

My B & M for the day is F this game with spawning other players right in front of me.  Yesterday I was on with a friend on my low level carbine repeater only character.  I checked the menu, we were the only people in the lobby so we started a long distance sale.  The sale had us going to Flatneck station from the Roanoke area.  My friend and I are traveling along and I notice that a player is spawning in up the road, right in our path.  So I am carefully watching and I see the player go from translucent to blue and then red as he started to fire at us.  I got him with a head shot from the carbine, but again he respawned in front of us.  This time he was able to get me with carcano before I could get him in range with the carbine.  He got my friend right after me, and injured both of our horses so we couldn't call them.  We spawned far from the wagon, so by the time we were able to get remotely close to where we could see our horses laying on the ground waiting to be revived the player was long gone.  I don't fault the other player, good for them, but there was not one other player in the lobby before we started, and Rockstar spawned a joining player right in front of us, and then gave that player every advantage over us trying to finish our delivery.  FU Rockstar

Okay, so I ran into that guy selling treasure maps and I paid for it, as usual. 5 bucks this time. I paid him and he road off, with me following him. I lassoed him, hogtied him and looted him. I only got 44 cents. So I picked him up, just so his hat would fall off and took that, leaving him tied up on the road. Why didn't I get my 5 dollars back? He didn't have time to dump it.

 

As I said, I usually pay him for the map and just let him go but I was curious this time. I have never gotten a map put into my inventory. If he really gives you a map, does is show up on the Recent page of your satchel for you guys or is this just a Wild West scam?

I always shoot him and collect the map, it does go into my inventory.  I did pay him once or twice before and I did get the map in my inventory as well.  You should get the notice on the right side of the screen of what map it is just like when you loot it off of a body.  If you aren't getting one, I'd wonder if it is a duplicate?

I've wondered about that as well--you should get it back, but R* is notorious for despawning things... money included.

 

Lately, I've noticed more NPCs just outright despawning; i.e. look in one direction down the road and you see an NPC on a horse coming your way; look the other direction for a few seconds, and then look back--and they're gone.

It should appear in the recent screen, and also in your satchel with the other maps, pamphlets, and letters of course.

This is just my luck. Headed to grab a collectible and a moonshiner camp spawned right on top of it, I had to ride away to allow the camp to despawn before I could get the treasure to complete the map.

I'd bet that is why:

 

When you get duplicates SENT to you, they stay in your camp box/the mailbox (until you use the duplicate one you already have, then "get your mail" again.) 

 

I bet when you buy one from that guy, if it is a duplicate it just "poofs." 

 

So basically, use up those treasure maps  I do this from time to time, just checked again and I have a TON on me AND in the mail =/

 

Which makes me think, what if it is a THIRD duplicate? I bet then it also just poofs, as in you already have it ON you AND in the mailbox...

...decided to count how many I have...carrying 29 on me and have 21 at the post office.

 

I guess I'll stop wasting my time and money with the map seller. And I guess I better clear some of these up. Now I'm wondering if some of those "you're carrying too many" loot messages have been referring to treasure maps I missed out on.

There's only 29 map locations, so I assume none of the maps you're carrying are duplicates?

No, none of the ones on me appear to be duplicates. I guess that makes sense that I'm carrying all of the maps on me and the ones in the bank must be duplicates of ones I'm already carrying.

Keeping any maps in your satchel is foolish, because you won't be able to get that same map from looting, as some people are realizing here. You can stash them in your mailbox forever, but always use the ones you have on you asap.

 

We need a collector perk that allows for more map storage...

First time EVER seeing Midnight paw coyote and it 'ran off' despite me not seeing it! I went to the ??? mark and it was just a bunch of regular coyotes and wolves... no legendary animal anywhere

Well little bit of help is better than nothing,i know most of the time its useless but at least it will make the icon stay on radar rather than blipping. Personally i only use it when i know that Legendary animals have troops to protect them.

For me that guy was always hiding amongst with the rest of the coyotes that come after you. But the last time I encountered him there was this buck that the coyotes were chasing. The legendary one ended up way ahead of me on the tails of that deer so I had to place down the pheromones' real quick to get him to return to my area. Took a few minutes before the marker came back. Maybe that's what happened to your coyote?

Keeping them in your satchel can also be intentional. I've left Brandywine Drop and Kamassa River in there so that I don't get them again--so far, so good.

 

...especially since my favorite Treasure Tree likes to spawn Kamassa River maps back-to-back. lol

I do that too. East Watson and Little Creek are 2 I keep on hand.
