Have to laugh, I whistled for my horse whilst in Strawberry and it knocked over and killed an NPC and I'm the one wanted for the murder.

4 times disconnected shortly after picking camp as a load point.

 

Finally load in, I'm sitting at the table in my camp and there's a notification that I need to own the metal detector to dig for a collectible....WTF???? 

 

A bit later, needed 4 more medium critters, went to Flatneck, there's some piggies and I have 3 on my horse, flee the horse, call for my hunting wagon (to see if it will actually work, haven't tried since before the update)...it keeps saying my vehicle is stabled so I expect that means it won't work...then disconnected again. 

 

The only reason I gave it another try is that I had 3 dailies almost finished and I hate leaving stuff unfinished.

Sounds like someone is a bad influence on their horse.

 

I tend to get wanted for murder for shopping in the store, or buying carrots from the stable. What can I say, I'm a wanted man.

Palming my face once again.

 

So, I took a resupply mission to start a new batch of skins.  Mission was to get the bag from a wrecked wagon with bandits about.  I jog over to my horse, hop on and... the mission ends, the bandit got away with the goods.  Elapsed time, 3 seconds.  I grumble, and try to start another.

 

This time, I'm to go to Corwall Tar, get the wagon of tanning fluid.  Mission begins, and then immediately ends.  Elapsed time, 1 second.  So, I try to start another.

 

This time, I'm to go get the bag from the bandits.  Again.  Hop on my horse, and in the time it took to turn to face the road, the mission ends.  Elapsed time 4 seconds.

 

Three failed missions in less than 10 seconds.  Must be some kind of record.

God, low-levels of Valentine are just the worst, it’s like they’re working together to be the most annoying pests they can be.
 

When some of them are starting fights they can’t win, others are stealing perfect carcasses that have been knocked off your horse as you’re attempting to visit a shop, and you are punished for killing the would-be carcass thief running towards the butcher.

 

Bunch of parasites, the whole lot of them.

Just go to the stables when your in the vicinity and make active your wagon, when you leave you will be on wagon jump off send away get on horse and whenever you need wagon again use the normal menu to get it, it should be delivered ok now

I really wish past outlaw passes were available again or at least the items to purchase with gold.  I wasn’t playing and missed out on the first two.

I avoid Valentiine, I'm actually really fed up of going there and seeing a shoot out or dead NPC's everywhere.

Best one I've had so far is I was turning in a bounty, waited outside to run down the timer and cause I was greyed out this confused a low level player for some reason and he'd shoot at me then run upto my character run back a few yards and starts shooting again. I was expecting a message from him saying something "OMG HacKeR!! Can u sHoW me? gIV me GOLd PLZ!!"

Anyone else finding that obvious, direct shots frequently just don't register? I've been running into that way too often lately--even within several feet of an NPC; where I shoot a lawmen several times, and only one shot actually hits.

 

There are also a ton of 'rubber-banding' issues in this game that STILL have not been fixed--i.e. where your character is suddenly pulled in a direction counter to where you're trying to move. I suspect it's related to animations, and it is HIGHLY frustrating and annoying, especially when you get killed because of it.

I'm really looking forward to the game being off of game pass so we can rid of those lousy low level players who shoot everyone on sight.

I play in defensive mode for a reason jackasses, I don't want to fight!... But if you insist, I will happily kick you so hard you are going to need a crowbar to remove my foot from your ass.

Oh yeah, brilliant.

 

I stumble across the the legendary Tatanka Bison while messing around trying to set a cornfield on fire, kill it, get its pelt all the way back to gus in st Denis just as I was about to take it off the horse the game decides to update and I get booted out of online.

Ever since the Naturalist update, 4 person or 6 person bounties where you have to find a scouting spot, instead of them rocking up from one direction, they now seem to each come in at different directions so sometimes it’s now impossible to get all the bounties, especially since they’re on speed or something that makes. I always end up losing 1 or 2 because of the way they just run off instead of at least putting up a little bit of a fight first. I guess it’s just one of Rockstars cheat tactics where they try and make it harder without using any skill at all.

You’d think inviting some players to your shack, serving them drinks, playing instruments and dancing together, and doing all kinds of shenanigans to be had in the speakeasy for about 30 minutes would put you all on good terms, right?

 

Wrong. After I’ve done two bootlegger missions, I’ve returned to my shack, and saw the duo I served and one more of their posse outside it, and they straight up attacked. The nerve on these people.

The one where you jump off the horse and try to aim but are pulled towards the horse and can't shoot or target anyone until you're far enough away from the horse.

There are times you just can't fire while aiming at an enemy, you have to mess with the weapon wheel or put away your weapons and re-equip them to be able to fire at anyone.

The horse automatically pulls to one side or other at specific spots on the map near buildings/bridges, etc. and will cause you to crash and be catapulted off if you're going fast enough.

These have all been a problem at least since PC launch, still not fixed.

 

Lately I've had my weapon wheel open on it's own and select a different weapon at times while just traveling straight ahead on horseback.

Also my character will start walking straight ahead for about 10 feet all on it's own with no control input. Nearly went over a cliff once because of this one.

I’m not sure if it’s meant to be this way or not, but I’m unable to lock onto Legendary Animals, I have to free aim to get shots on them which is annoying chasing them through trees and then you lock onto a normal animal, but all the Legendary Animals I’ve encountered I’m unable to lock on to them when using a controller on PC!

Yeah same here. I think it's intentional that the game forces you into free aim when shooting at them or sedating them, probably to make it a bit more challenging.

Thats likely on purpose, as paint in black is also deactivated in free roam encounters or in harriet missions.

I was *this* close to complete a distant delivery of goods I saved since yesterday, only for me to get that dreadful Alert screen. Had a very good haul stowed on my horse as well.
 

I’ll just do the gold challenges today, I’m not in the mood to go through that agony once more.

Thanks, just wanted some confirmation just in case it was another feature bug, trying to get Foxes are a nightmare and some faster LAs...

 

Had to chase the damn Snow Buck through Tall Trees without a little aim assist but never mind, got him in the end as I'm killing them first to get the outfits at least since I got Rank 20 Naturalist so don't need to try and sedate them first time round with little reward for sedating them, so they will get sedated when I encounter the same ones again.

 

And the blending tonics to get closer to animals seem iffy sometimes as when in the area of a LA and I chug one as far away as possible, it seems LA knows as they always seem to run away as it's being drunk...

I've never once done distant deliveries. For the bonus of $125 it's just not worth it for me.

I’m only doing it because Traders are challenged for two distant deliveries. I usually do local because it’s quicker, and my character’s already a millionaire by today’s standards, so an additional $125 literally means nothing to me.

Ahh fair enough dude. I avoid that one like the plague. 

 

Also, anyone else miss the old looting animation? Yeah it's quicker now but I wish we could toggle the old one back on.

Looting and the abilty to zoom sideways at full speed when aiming kill it for me. I feel like I am playing something like Fortnite, it makes cover pointless as I can just run up at full speed and strafe sideways around them blasting.

Can't believe they still haven't fixed the hair thing where all long hair sticks out stupidly at the back since the naturalist update. It's basically made every long hairstyle unusable.
