I barely feel like i progressed this role. And i been playing all day. Seriously, what audience is rockstar trying to target with these updates? And did they seriously remove studying animals only to add it as a dlc? This is the first update where literally none of the role outfits appeal to me. Not even the new trapper clothing. I just want simple regular clothing, i hate fur. What the hell is rockstar doing??? We waited 7 months just to do some more hunting??? Wow

I think that if you kill animals, she gets ticked at you. I left her and moved out about 100 feet. I was attacked by two wolves. I killed one and tranquilized/sampled the other. I didn't revive him and stood about 20 feet away. He woke up by himself and stumbled away. I moved toward him and he turned and attacked me. I killed him. I went right back to Harriet to give her the sample and she roofied me. I don't think we can kill any animals, maybe even predators, and deal with her--which is going to make leveling naturalist interesting to me.

 

Funny thing, after she roofied me, my recent acquisition screen was blank and only started filling up as I picked up other items. Not sure if a glitch or if it's supposed to be me losing memory because she drugged me.

It took like 6 headshots with sedative ammo to make a red fox drop. Took me like 10 minutes chasing this one fox to get a sample.

WE are not entertained......( which was expected regarding my high standards about how MMO should be adressed )

 

Only one in my "Family Gaming Community" looking forward to it is my youngest 11y daughter which is playing Story at the moment....so she will take over Online, cause she's the obvious target audience for this "massive" Update.....

I mean one of the Naturalist daily role challenges is 'Don't kill an animal for 12 game hours' that's going to be a pain for people to complete that want to do Trader collecting..

I haven't played this role yet but this pretty much sums things up for me. As for who's making these decisions, I would say Barney the dinosaur.

I have a feeling they could be random, I just getting some medium animals for Trader around the Big Valley trapper and in the exact same spot I had moved away from, after a minute or two a gold animal paw spawned on the map and I went back and it was the Legendary Zizi Beaver. It definitely wasn't there when I was picking up some Turkeys I had just shot...

Rockstar broke the hair and gunbelts... They are both floating a lot now.

Hopefully we won't have to wait another 7 months to get fixes for that.

I swear i was in the boar area in lemoyne and the peccary area in new austin for like a hour total and nothing popped up for me:/

After almost never having trouble with the log in, i have been rebooted two times in a row with the 02 error... thats on them, i have a good LAN connection!

Not so much of a b&m but realization that this game will be nothing more than play pvp or play fetch & delivery boy.  7 months and this is what we get, no lobby options, no pve, no co-op, just the same ole re-skinned fetch quest bullsh*t w/ no way to choose who we play with.  Please R* the kids are out of school, hire some of em as they have a way better imagination than that room full of monkeys you have now.  Tick-tock R* new games are coming out to grab players attention, and remember a players attention span is about as long as a stick of gum, too little way too late means they won’t stay much less come back.

Tried 3 times to get a Harriet mission to start...froze all 3 times in loading screen. So I'm guessing they haven't fixed the random infinite loading when a fade-to-black mission tries to start.

There is a bug, for me at least, with the Gran Corazon Madeira Alcohol Bottle. I've drank 3 now, but it's being registered a Cognac bottle, as tried drinking some before picking up some new ones.... so I've lost no Gran Corazon Madeira bottles, but 3 Cognac Bottles..

I went to change appearance, made them 18 again, paid for it.

 

Load game, all good. fast travel.... 35 and wrinkled again.

 

Also the plait ponytail has been RUININED.

 

Thus far 0/10 update for me. not one thing of value.

I was in the game for over an hour and also nothing has shown up since either.. So I'm guessing random and also lobby spawn related too!

and 10 gold bars

 

changed my age twice now to 18

back in the game after visiting a store or fast travel, immediately turn 35 and get wrinkles again

Killed it, put it on my horse. 

Rode all the way to Gus.

He wouldn't accept it. 

Checked and it said 'pelt', not 'carcass', so I skinned it.

The pelt disappeared.
