Y’know, since just before the year ended, December 19 to be specific, this is like the first time I ever checked on RDO and my Social Club stats on the game.

 

Like, wow, has the game really not updated for seven months? Even my navy revolver’s kill count on social club is omitted to this day, I figured Rockstar would at least do the bare minimum to fix that, but that seems to be too much to ask.

They really need to fix the damn issue that stops you selling items or donating items to Cripps if you do too much in one go, having to wait for ages on 'processing transaction' is really annoying after a while.

And another thing I've noticed, if you get a treasure map from the Daily Challenges after 28 day or any map that is gifted to you from Rockstar, if you have the same map, it will duplicate in your satchel so you have multiple copies of the same map, however you can only use the map once.. I had three Lake Isabella treasure maps, opened one, collected and all of them were then removed from my satchel... I have another Lake Isabella in my lockbox from a Ranking up which as greyed out and unable to collect from my satchel because I already had two in my satchel as well as the other two and the one I got gifted this week which was Lake Isabella that got duplicated again.

So there seems to a bug when you get gifted a Treasure Map from Rockstar, if you already have it, it will duplicate but you lose out on the rewards due to it deleting all copies of the map from your satchel. I have a couple more duplicates too in my satchel Hawk Eyes Creek and East Watsons.

So be careful when collecting from your lockbox when given a Treasure Map from Rockstar as if you already have it, it will duplicate itself and only allow you to use it once.

You know...what I think would really break peoples backs is if after all this time is if we only get a single Role and nothing else. Like Moonshiners, no QoL updates, nothing to spend our money on, no properties etc. Just another way to make useless money but of course we need to spend Gold on buying the Role first.

 

Oh, or they could lock the majority of clothing behind dripfeed again. Only releasing one bit of clothing per week for two months.

Agreed. And not only on selling and donating items, but on buying items as well!  Just try buying loads of ammo at once, you will eventually just be waiting for ever while the transaction processes.

 

And while on B&M, it would be great if the press/hold map shortcut worked all the time. I'm constantly launching myself deep into the collection menus after finding an item - and having to back out 5 or 6 levels - rather than just getting to the map.

I believe there is a mechanism that if you spam any transaction, the game opens itself up for a possible solo lobby.

I would also like an option to turn off the treasure maps loading the map each time they're opened, as if you get a distraction like an ambush or a hideout, when opening the map afterwards, I feel it's just a waste of time etc.

What they do need to do is remove pressing and holding the map button to open Invites. Why, WHY! is it every time I want to open my map a pop-up for something I don't give a f*cking sh*t about pops up and it locks up my entire HUD and half my controls while the game sluggishly plays the animation that I cannot f*cking cancel!

Hm, well.  Had an experience tonight.  There I was, sitting in Valentine on the bench outside the hotel, just watching the day go by.  Some guy is running around town, throwing a chicken at people.  No idea why.  Eventually he gets to me, throws the chicken.  When he bends to pick it up, he leaves a stick of dynamite under the bench.  Of course, I run from the bench, but the explosion knocks me on my face in the street.  I quickly chug a health tonic (II) and look around for the guy.  He's commandeered a wagon and proceeds to run over me.  If not for the tonic, I'd have been killed (despite being in defensive), but it didn't kill me and he carried on driving away until he got stuck on a fence.  At this point, I pull my custom Navy six, and blow his head off.

 

So, was I in the wrong?  Apparently I was supposed to wait until he freed himself from the fence or dismounted the wagon.  A man can only take so much abuse.

It is a well known bug that you lose outfits stored on horse....

Every time I visit a store to change/delete/update an outfit I lose some off my horse and have to make another trip back there to restore what I had in the first place.

I just add the missing outfits back on the horse (have to go to camp or a dressing room).

It won't let me do that, when I'm in the dressing room it says 5 out of 5 stored on horse. I even tried changing the saddle bags from the regular and back to upgraded. I'll try again, though.

 

Edit: it seems that it has fixed itself.

Why they won't let us make a secondary character is ridiculous! I really want to make a female character in this game, someone who isn't the amazonian woman that my Alotta Womyn is in GTA. Sorry, but the gals in GTA are kind of scary, the RDR girls can be made to be very elegant looking and I want to make one.

I lost my 300+ day streak on Daily Challenges yesterday due to Real Life™ commitments and distractions. Really don't have the motivation to pick up the grind again after that (plus what even is there to spend that many Gold Bars on) so I guess that's me for the foreseeable future.

 

I would like to say it's been fun, but... I'm trying to remember a point where I was enjoying it and I honestly can't.

The honor/bounty system is f*cked!

Both in online and single player.

 

I kill 6 people and their horses, lose a little honor.

Feed my horse once and it's full again?

 

And exactly who witnessed me feeding my horse, or skinning those animals? (skinning animals you hunted gives you honor...just weird )

 

In single player I ride across Braithwaite land and they get pissed, I stealth kill one of their guards that comes after me and I get a $15 bounty.

 

Make up your f*cking minds, which is it gonna be? Stupid easy or stupid hard?

They said kill 3 players with a rifle in a showdown, they said kill three players with a headshot. It is kinda hard with firing bullets with a knife! These special edition should have a category of its own. So I jumped over to shootout series instead and that game mode is basically dead. I will thank the player who sticked around so I could get my headshot kills with a rifle.
