Is it too much to ask to respawn where I left off? Spawn in, murdered, rinse & repeat. It was busy last night, insane killers were everywhere.

 

Hunting and transporting carcasses & big fish hardly worth it. I need a wagon.

 

Finally, just a cosmetic issue: open vests, dammit they're in every western movie & tv show. Closed vests all the time gotta be uncomfortable lol.

 

Ok that's my bitchin for the day.

Yes and yes. 

My money and gold suddenly appeared in my 'account/s' while hunting. And I got the notification about 6 hours later. 

Wasn't sure if I would get mine because I deleted and made a new character yesterday but it didn't affect it.

Same boat as you mate. I'm not concerned as yet.

 

I never got cash rewards early on in GTAO, got them a day or so before the given end date, so I'm kind of expecting similar here.

Racing sucks in this form. Getting killed few feets before finish line after I was leading whole race and there was at least 30 yards between me and second place is complete BS. Why is it called racing at all, it's more of a deathmatch on a horse? 

 

Also, other players killing me by bumping into me with their horses and I am dead but they just ride away?

 

Everything that was wrong with GTA racing is here again. We need clean racing mode, this isn't it. This is barely racing at all.

 

And yeah, still can't connect to free roam. Probably never will be able to.

How does Rockstar make such a dead free mode.

 

Every time i go into online, it feels like I'm playing single player and that there is no other players in the damn session. They wanted to make it somewhat realisitc and remove the killfeed but that kinda hurt the game in my opinion. You don't know that people are having fights or are getting killed. Majority of the time, you just load in, do some hunting or missions and that's it.

 

Free mode itself has nothing that can be explored really, no random events, no robbing, no proper free mode events, no proper posse system (Current one seems kinda lame to me), no real point in PvPing (there's like no reward nor consequence to it generally), nothing to do in saloons or towns. The entire free mode feels dead every time i load in.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but why can't we fish from a boat like in singleplayer? The game doesn't allow us to pull out the fishing rod when we're on a boat or a ship.

Made it to level 15, got said levels treasure map, found said treasure, opened box, about to collect contents.... “you’ve been disconnected due to.....”. Treasure map is gone, can’t get it again at the post office. Sad face.

Well I presume they're a Ned Kelly thing, but I 100% guarantee you they'll be high-priced/gold exclusives later on that prevent players from head-shoting you.

Starting to get bored of the game modes with same locations anyone else? Also a lot of frame rate drops when im near a town.. the hell. The tackling is a bit annoying esoecially when you have useless team mates and dont bother helping.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's just my bad luck with getting the same locations over and over or if there really aren't more at the moment.

No Armadillo???

What a letdown!

They need to add this stuff soon, alongside additional modes like grab the bag, hold your own, etc.

Hopefully this week will bring another update.

Honestly, what's the point of the Lock Breaker in Online?

In SP, you use it to break open cash registers.... you (stupidly) can't rob stores in Online so why even have it Online?!

Possibly for future missions.

 

As it is one of the characters who has you raid the Army camp for explosives, says it's so the army can't knock off a bank. And that he'll figure out some way to rob that bank... later.

I feel like the spawns in showdowns are way too cluttered. I'll often spawn behind people and get easy kills, or just a couple of seconds away - and it's not really fair to expect someone to kill someone, then be ready for them to reappear literally just around the corner.

 

Spawns should be spread out, away from the action - preferably out of the locations we fight. Put us way out and give use a horse to get to the map if necessary.

Gang hideouts need to be looked at, they rarely spawn and can be glitchy. I also think gang hideouts should give a guaranteed payout of cash each time you complete one (around $10) and maybe an ammo crate in bigger hideouts to get some ammo back. Treasure maps should have an increased spawn rate if you haven't got one from an enemy in a while.

Banks didn't need it

You crack safes or blow them up

 

Also; I do hope the first time payout is huge when we do pull off a bank job.

Tbh I always get more ammo from bodies than I shot and money sums up around ~10$. You have a chance to get treasure map and gain 0.5-1 gold bar + 50-100$ (values from my experience). Imo it’s good. The only thing they should implement is increasing chance to get treasure map with every gang hideout you clear, so at some point you won’t end like me. 25 gang hideouts with 0 treasure maps and suddendly after making 4 more, I got 3 treasure maps.

Levelling is way too much of a grind for my tastes. Just repeating the same sh*t over and over and OVER again.

I’m already sick of all these entitled posse leaders that I keep getting paired with, who will readily annoy, sabotage, and/or leave a mission if you don’t play it exactly like they want. (Not that they use mics to let me know any of it, mind you.)

 

The first (these are both from Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral) apparantly thought it was VERY important for him to carry Montez personally to the Marshal, so while I was on my way to deliver him, he rammed his horse into mine for the sole purpose of knocking Montez off which led to my horse needing to be revived. I thought we were on the same team, I had no idea I was somehow in his way. When I went and picked Montez back up, he had some kind of quiet hissy fit and tried to lasso me until I put Montez back on my horse, which he then stole. That’s when I realized his actions were probably purposeful and decided I have no time for this petty crap so I just let him take it. 

 

The other time was just as we were starting up, the leader started immediately shooting in the direction of me and another player who went toward Van Horn before the camp. I just assumed the four of us could devide and conquer, the beginning of the mission isn’t that hard. He just decided to leave. The fourth guy must’ve been his buddy because he left to. 

 

My question is: are we not playing a game? What’s the deal with all these petty bros?

 Gets old, but man it's hard to enjoy pvp matches 'cos of the loose controls. I know it's a thing in R* games and i didn't have such a problem with it in SP. 

 

But - Online: The responsiveness of aiming (movement/animation transitions) feels so much worse. Is there a chance that R* is going to optimize the poor input/lag? 

Loving the game.

 git gud, scrubs

 

(gaming monitor/console upgrade --perhaps??)

Honestly I prefer missions like they are now, don't have to deal with the same c*nts or wait for people to join your lobby. You all share progress

As long as there is a decent payout I don't mind.

 

I don't like the idea of a bank robbery where on the first play through you come out with a grand or two but in replays you're lucky to take away $50. 

 

I agree there has to be something to stop the equivalent of the Pac Standard grind. But if something like bank robbery heists were introduced the payout for both the first play and replays has to be somewhat believable.

Why the f*ck does my hat not spawn with me in Series Large? I need my hat. It's my guardian angel against those pesky one shot headshots.

And also, I don't wanna switch to repeater. When I throw my tomahawk, I want to switch to shotgun. Even switching to shotgun then tomahawk. After I throw, it won't switch to shotgun with score of 3. Repeaters, 1 score. Wtf

I personally dislike how RDO completely gets rid of the social system from singleplayer where you can Greet or Antagonize other NPCs. I would've much preferred if our characters could talk to NPCs, even if it were simple "Hi"s and "f*ck you"s to keep with their introverted schtick.

 

They already gave our character voices for getting damaged or interacting with our horse. So why not expand upon that?

Embrace another economy break. As long as R* handles this differently than in SP, where (at least for me) money lost its value already after 1st "big score".
