Now that the Monster Hunter seasonal event is over, I've got time to grind out Outlaw Pass unlocks, and ...f*** me, it's not exactly thrilling...  Doesn't help that so much of the new stuff is geared around Moonshining (which doesn't interest me one iota), but that's just trading one repetitive grind for another, so it's not like I'm missing out on something game-changing in terms of spicing up the experience.

 

But yeah, there's only so much I can do collector maps, daily objectives and bounties (so 'go here, click that', or 'go here, shoot that, go back') over and over and over, before it becomes apparent just how shallow this game is. Really perfunctory combat mechanics, clunky horse-riding, and the only long-term plan R* seems to have for the game is 'copy-paste SecuroServ UPS delivery stuff' - except unlike GTAO, where you at least get the occasional cool new car, it's hard to get invested in grinding when the only things to buy are dubiously-recoloured outfits, the occasional new-but-not-exciting handgun, or the paywall to the next UPS clone.

I've taken to playing PVP modes as that's the only thing that seems to work consistently.

Of course I'm awful so I get sh*t on but f*ck it, its somewhat fun and it's stable.

It's a complete horror today and a few days prior too. Sometimes I just can't figure out why I keep playing Online.

Always wanted to contribute to this topic but I just can’t. I have zero issues. Believe it or not. I’m just astounded at the amount of players having problems and I’m sitting here wondering what world am I from ? And bitching about drip feed content is selfish. The only minor thing is I lag out when I’m idling for too long. Just writing this feels like I’m lying.

Logged in but didn't spawn at camp. Couldn't spawn camp. 

 

Whatevs, nothing new.

 

Tried to fast travel to my moonshine camp but ended up at the same place. Tried again and same results. But of course the transactions went through.

 

Closed the application, I'm not dealing with this today.

I uninstalled it twice so far and probably will come to a point where I'd do it again, still hoping this game becomes playable for real one day. Knowing Rockstar, though, that hope is idle....

I'm not someone who has ever really ran into the animal problem cause I haven't hunted in ages and I don't do Trader at all but even I'm like holy sh*t with it now. I can't even get meat stocked up for cooking dailies, I don't think I've seen a single animal in well over a week now.

 

I really don't understand... how has it got worse and worse through updates? It's actually silly now lol.

And lately I've been saying I had very few issues seeing animals...it had to come to an end eventually I suppose.

 

Last night: infinite loading screens.....

 

Ctrl-Alt-Del....restart....

it works, but one of the dailies: collect 3 items using the metal detector....the first 5!!!!!!!! I try are bugged and either don't activate the detector, or activate it but I don't get the 'Dig' prompt.

No deer to be seen, and I travelled from Bluewater to Rhodes, back to Bluewater. to Cotorra Springs, then to Tumbleweed. (well, actually I saw one lonely 1 star buck near Tumbleweed, need to skin 5 for the daily and it was quite late already)

Every time I spawn without a camp using the "Camp" option, I spawn in this exact place, even after clearing cache and what not, even if my previous camp was in a totally different region. When I spawn in game using the "free roam" option, I spawn where my character was about 10 minutes ago. But spawn with Camp and "your camp is being pitched" always lands me here:

 

 

Whenever I get the notification that production is halted, my invisible camp is in this exact location time and time again:

 

 

And I see these screens a helluva lot these days!! Rockstar needs to flush their caches too.

What kind of nonsense is this? Locked to offensive mode because apparently me just loading into the game counts as griefing.

 

I'll hold off on that moonshine sale, I'm not risking getting a Valentine delivery with forced auto aim.

^^ Yeah, RDO is saturated with bugs (ran into that random griefing bug myself on the PS4 many months ago)... why is it that more than a year after its release, something as simple as butchers using the right voices still gets screwed up?

Time for R* to fix the OP speed of Grizzly bears.

 

IRL, Arabian horses can run about 10 miles per hour faster than Grizzlies (40 mph vs. 30 mph, respectively).

 

Last night, my red Arabian--at full adrenaline-driven speed--gets easily overtaken within seconds by a Grizzly and I get killed... and I should add that the Grizzly took two pump-action shotgun rounds to the face without flinching.

After that video cut I went to play with the band until my hostility lowered before starting a sale. I had to re run the sale three times, first time the cart wouldn't move, close app and restart, second time I disconnected less than 100 meters from the end of the sale, close app and restart.

 

When I got the sale done on the third try (I only bothered to complete the sell to two preferred buyers daily) I couldn't be bothered with the game anymore for today. I'm logging in for an easy daily or two over the weekend and logging off, I'm getting frustrated more often than I'm having fun lately.

We're on the same boat. Frustration overshadows the fun and willingness to love it more and more. Rockstar simply doesn't take any actions, other than fixing the moonshine event timer and adding a few moonshiner events in the open world. It's beyond the point of thinking they don't care, I know for sure they don't give a f*cking toss about how bad this game performs and it wouldn't surprise me much if this game won't make it's full second year of support after beta stage. A billion dollar company releasing a sorry piece of crap like RDO, without a proper fix just doesn't bode well for the future of this game or any other they'll release. 

I'm doing a daily or 2 a day, ones that don't need sell missions or any hunting and log off again. Even the fun of roaming the lands, taking screenshots of the scenery to edit later, is gone. 

 

I'll give the game till next update to decide whether I keep playing it or not. Only 1 option can really save this game for me: Invite Only sessions with full options.

Hunting wagon is showing empty in donations screen, but is still showing like it's loaded (hump) and only holds 2 large animal carcasses until full. Any fix?

I destroyed wagon hoping it would come back fixed. It cost me $8 and still came back the same.

I have had to check wagon cargo more than once to get it to load properly. Shows satchel contents before I get it to shpow correctly.

I delivered a full 100 goods a few days ago, looking like this in my wagon:

 

 

Paid the same $500, so I'm not complaining. It does show how borked this game is, with this added up to all the current issues the game is having. Not joking, nor deliberately bashing, but this must be the most broken game I've played in years, many years.
