@Tha-Jamz If you have to "defrag" every month for Red Dead Online to work (kinda) the game is just porley optimised!

 

Started to play video games when I was 8 and just like then I expect games now to work as it should right out of the box!

I started back up again after a year of not playing. Boy was that a mistake. Hard to believe that this game has so many issues still! Animals not spawning (wild horses and a few birds is all), crashes in the middle of deliveries (lost a boat load of cash), and don't get me started on the camp issue. 

 

It's like they keep adding stuff instead of fixing things. Very frustrating game!

I use this to gallop quietly across the map.  Your character grunting when driving your horse can be heard before your bleep shows on another persons radar.  Using eagle eye will keep them from making a sound.

Thats not what i said or ment, i do this every month for a long time already.

Even Sony does advise this to keep your PS4 console optimal and clean.

One thing I have noticed is that eagle-eye will not highlight animals/herbs/etc if you are on a bounty that requires you to use it for clue searching. You have to ride to the yellow area to trigger the search then you can go back to your hunting using eagle-eye.

I've been trying to engage more in free roam events - I thought I figured out which events I couldn't be harassed in (RIP Master Archer).

 

Did my 4th fishing challenge - first one I didn't break a pound. 2nd one I placed highly. 3rd time I started experimenting with baits.

 

4th time I decided to give the swamp fishing challenge, now that I had a better handle on what baits to use where.

 

Within a couple seconds, I catch by far my biggest fish ever - 18+ lbs. I am way out in front. I catch my 2nd fish - another 18 pounder. Im at about 37 pounds just a minute or two into the challenge.

 

 

Then somebody decided I was having too much success/fun, so he fished while his posse members would run into the water and literally chase any fish away from getting near my rod.

 

Usually I just quit if someone is griefing me, but I was still in 1st or 2nd place and I wanted the cash, so I gave up had a (real life) cigarette, and waited out the timer.

 

This was like 4 days ago and my blood is honestly still boiling.

I don't understand how people can be such dickheads, it's meant to be a challenge at a certain activity.

Play by the f*cking rules for once, if you don't want to, do something else, you'll make more money for the time spent.

It's like racing in GTA: if you don't want to actually race, don't!

Crashing people out who DO actually want to have a decent race is jackassery of the highest order.

This and other lill bugs didn't happen before i started the moonshine intro mission.

 

I already did rebuild my PS4 data base every month, i do this since the day i bought my PS4 Pro (its like defrag on a PC) but now i flush the PS4 cache every day before i start to play, it helps.

Not for everything but a lot of things go smoother.

 

I shouldn't have to, R* needs to fix the dawm game !

Sounds like the Moonshiner code may possibly have been added outside of some critical "check for" code parameters?

 

Yet another thing that really honks me off: being charged for wanting to quickly set up a simple fire to cook some meat (when far away from a crafting/cooking fire)... meanwhile, I'm being charged every day for a camp I never asked for.

Either they skipped a step for RDRO or this interviews full of bs. Because RDRO has a lot of monetization, yet very little engagement. Unless you consider opening the camp window to try spawning it 20 times only to have Cripps decide to move the camp once you do manage to set it up as engagement.

Glad it's not just me that's getting really p*ssed off at how my horse has been acting lately--worse than the "Beta" days, of all things.

 

For example:

• When I need to stow something (standing still), I whistle for my horse, and he takes his time getting to me (goes on tour of the nearby countryside), then stops about 10 yards away.
• When I just want my horse to follow me while I walk around without anything in-hand, he's right on my butt, getting in my way.

 

Fix your freaking code, R*. Geez!

What is it with people trying to take my spot or stand in my way in Trade Route.  I always go to the back of the train(because everyone else rushes to the front. I always try to keep a fair distance from any other players to respect their space and I usually finish 1st or 2nd in kills.  Almost always someone figures this out about halfway through the second stint and they come and stand in front of me to keep me from shooting or get in on the kills.  In turn I just refuse to move and then step in front of them so they can have a taste of how annoying it is. 

 

On a side note, 2 weekends ago on the 7:22amEST trade route run, I had 45 kills after the second stint, two people ahead of me were tied with 52....Seems like we were kicking ass, right?  NOPE.  instead of having 12 goods at this point, we were down to 6. I didn't stay, but there was another board member in the same match(I recognized their PSN ID but can't remember their SN here).  I bet this person knows exactly which match I was in based on losing half of the goods...And I thought it was bad when 1 or 2 were lost  lol  .....I think it was @Danelaw but I don't want to post the PSN ID

Actually, a year ago wildlife spawned much better than now and the camps too. But you are absolutely right. Fixing things is not their strong point.

If I shoot someone who is running from me in the back of the leg with a rifle they cannot just jump up and start sprinting away at full speed like nothing happened. I can literally see the huge hole in their leg.

My moonshine business is still glitched, it just get empty when it’s soon full or if it’s full and i leave the shack.

 

Sent rs a ticket about this before christmas, they was aware of the issue and gave me 200 rdo dollars.

Said i should try to move the shack.

It didnt help and i just sent another new ticket, they now just apologise and say they are aware of it, told them about the animal spawn issue too. Why dont they fix it? Seems like they dont care. If it was free it would be ok, but some players also buying gold bars to get the dlc content...

 

The lack of content combined with a broken game is making me burnt out with it. If we only see a new hat today i give up for a while,  until something new is added or that they fix the shack and animal spawn.
