One thing that's always bothered me about this is trader deliveries. I can make a delivery in a session of 20+ players and animals seem to spawn fine. 

I wonder what the difference is?

Because other activities are locked to the player while making a delivery, so that frees up space/memory for other things (animals) to be there instead? *

 

 

 

* I know nothing about how games actually work lol (obviously). 

I'm sure people have already done this, but ideally a couple of players (or ALL of those not on the delivery wagon) in the posse should bring their hunting wagons along for a trader delivery and make out like bandits.

Why in blue hell does Rockstar have the Breton under “multi” when it’s a draft horse and should be placed in the “Draft” section of horses. Seems they still didn’t learn much from cars being in the wrong categories on GTA Online -_-

The game is heads up sh*t again. While in Defensive Mode, I've been targetted for Player Assassination twice, with no option to decline. First time I logged off and restarted the game. Second time it was only 1 player, so I let it come. My horse got nailed to the ground and refused to move an inch. While I was still in Defensive Mode I was able to lockon the player who initated it and kill him for 5 minutes. Didn't get any payout for surviving and after it was done, my horse still didn't move an inch.

 

How the hell can players in Defensive Mode be targetted for PvP missions?? I was in Defensive Mode all the time and after too. What an extra waste of time! I'm not playing this game to entertain idiots for 5 minutes. Not for 1 minute or for 1 second either. f*ck off with your crap PvP!!

I was in a posse for a while when trader role first started and we were doing that back then. 

Unfortunately I play solo and don't have time. Its so frustrating when I'm swerving around herds of deer in my delivery wagon. 

I always throw a 3 star on my horse if I see one though.

Were you part of a posse (even if on your own)? I've been targeted twice, both times while posse leader, with one other person and in defensive. 

 

I spend at least 95% of the time in defensive, solo and don't bother starting the posse.. and have never been targeted.

I'm always on my own and never as posse leader. I was minding my own business (looking for a whooping crane to pluck), when I got the alert and no option to decline. Second time, I was on my way to my camp and got targeted again. First time was a posse of 4, second time it was a single player. The last time I was targeted before today was when Defensive Mode wasn't even a thing. Also, Defensive Mode should exclude you from any stranger mission PvP missions. I checked my status during the mission and I was in Defensive Mode the whole time. That aside, I didn't even get a payout for surviving!

I've been given the option to start such missions while in defensive, but always get the message warning me it will put me and offensive and I walk away. 

 

I put a lot of hours into this game since FP update dropped and either been 'need to buy a lottery ticket this weekend' lucky or this is a new thing. Or bug? Like randomly coming out of defensive while chilling at camp? 

 

Has this happened to you twice, today??

Keep the snow, ditch the xmas crap.  I thought it was funny they took the snow away the day after Christmas and left all of the music and decorations.  I'm so sick of jingle bells in my speak easy.  I'm glad they left the snow longer this time, I would welcome it regularly in this game, but it sucks in GTA

It's a bug for sure. If someone starts the mission at the mission giver, it should not show player names who are in Defensive Mode. Somehow, my tag did appeared and I got targeted. 

Yeah, twice in 2 separate lobbies, within 10 minutes. Probably to compensate for the long period it didn't happen

I turn off the sound when I have to dance for 2 minutes for the daily challenge. That Christmas music is coming right out of my nose by now and there's no option to burn the band.

I usually have my own music on when I'm playing solo so when I'm dancing for the daily it looks a little funny if you consider he is dancing to Little Feat or something lol.  Also, the awkward dance...What's so awkward about it?  That's how I dance IRL

This has happened to me too! Was in a big lobby and as soon I started my sell mission the entire lobby almost exploded with life compeered how it usually is! It was a near sell mission all by myself!

Before I always used my hunting wagon when I helped friends selling but lately there have been no animals around when we sell (big posse, 7 members).

I think programmers has cut a lot of corners for this DLC.

south west of van Horn is a fort, i was getting my bounty target there, but when i ran at him and did the running hogtie thing we fell thru the hole in the ground in the lill building inside the fort, he died.

Cant take him up the ladder when carrying him over my shoulder, cant lasso him to drag him up the ladder...

 

No way to get the dead bounty out, well done Rockstar !!! idiots...

I am surprised how R* is trying to kill their own franchise. That my moonshine mash always costs $50, regardless of how many bootleg missions you do. That my moonshine batch constantly disappears. No animal spawns while the daily challenges are deliver x animals to Cripps. 

 

It's really annoying, you just have no choice than to go with the flow.

Don't sweat it. I'm sure you could get a job with R*. Just say your specialty is resolving network issues that affect animal and camp spawns in "large" populated sessions.

Almost finished the Yukon Nik bounty. Killed all the enemies but decided I wanted to take out the bears too. I made my horse flee because she was next to the cage. Nik immediately falls off and dies. Mission failed.
