The character appearance change does not work for me. Its gets stuck in the loading screen when i trie to go in to it.. Anyone else having this problem?

Start a moonshine or leg bounty. Once you're in a solo lobby, go to appearance change.

The bounty board does not work either. When I walk in to it, nothing happens

As a part of my New Year’s Resolutions, I’ll acknowledge my ever-growing disinterest in Red Dead Online and never bother with playing it any further. People will try to deny it, but its inevitable evolution into a Wild West reskin of GTA Online will happen, the first signs are already here, so I’d rather take my leave early than experience that slow burnout ever again.

 

Can’t deny I had fun with the game in the half-year I’ve played it, so there’s that.

Is it me or is the game dull? No animals, no random encounter and hardly any players around to do daily! Yet the game says there is 22-23 players nearby!

I sent a ticket detailing the lack of all types of spawns. It's apparently being investigated.

How the f*ck someone can shoot you to face out of nowhere and then as an aggressor(red dot) change to defensive mode or go to safe zones.One of the biggest game f*ck ups.

I gave it alot of time and alot of thought, but I've finally decided the hunting wagon is sh*t for everything but fishing.

 

Any wildlife that may still spawn gets spooked by the racket you make rolling up way before you can comfortably take 3 star aim.

 

You can't whistle it over so you're still leggin' it everywhere anyway.

 

It'll spawn on the other side of the river and then look at you like *you're* the stupid one.

 

Now I've just found out that you can't stick baby gators in there. Unhandy, as that pretty much the only reasonable catch in the Bayou.

 

And the black screen is still here even though I've spent way too long arsing about typing this on my phone.

Hello, Thank you for contacting Rockstar Support. Below you will find some troubleshooting that should help resolve the issues you are experiencing. These troubleshooting steps come directly from Sony's website.

 

**Step 1: Booting Up in Safe Mode:** The PS4 system has the ability to start up in Safe Mode. This allows access to several functions that can provide you with a way to clean up and potentially fix many issues you may be experiencing. 1. Turn off the PlayStation 4 by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.

 

2. Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later. 3. Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button on the controller. When you have successfully booted the console in safe mode several options will be made available to you. **Step 2: Update System Software:** We recommend that you perform this process before running through any troubleshooting as it is possible that your console's software is not the most recent version and this can create issues running the game.

I contacted them about the same thing and they only said to change session/lobby! As that is an option? I better hope that they give us a patch soon!

 

On other matters, It feels like they sacked all programmers from when they created the game and just took in a lot of students to program all future dlc!

Its a freakin mess al over the place, the session im in atm got no fast travel posts, not 1 on the whole map...

Support is a bunch of dildo's all together, dont read what you write at all, i'm spending more time making support tickets then able to play the game.

 

Oh and did in mention i hate the f*ckin immersion killing snow ?!

The last update brought a networking fix that was supposed to solve animal spawns but the world is deader than ever. What you are trying to achieve isn't working in lobbies with more than 15 people. When you are put into a solo lobby as part of a mission the world explodes with life again, all the above listed issues cease to be a problem. This is not an isolated incident as I'm sure you're aware. I have seen this reported by other players on the gta fan forus and the RDO subreddit. Reduce lobby size to bring life back into the world. Right now it is DEAD. I love the world but since Moonshiners it's been an empty shell.

And I think what that error is that we get from time to time with 06 in the end!

I think it is when two lobbys merge or you trying to join one!

So if some helpful dev/programmer at R* could turn the function off and lower the amount of players in a lobby it would be great!

Same, Moonshiner I can get as most people are still leveling that up. Hit 18 thanks to it

The amount is so pitiful as well, like I said before it won't even get you a level.

Well i care, but i couldnt play untill the last update, disconnect from server every 10, 15 minutes over and over again before the last update.

So almost a whole year...!

Sounds like the buddy-issue I had. On PS4 that is.

I got disconnected on regular intervals when I joined my buddy's party, but stayed online when he joined mine.

Nope just solo, i played most of the time solo but it happened no matter what, party, posse, solo etc etc.

I'm Moonshiner level 15 and I think I have only managed 3 sales.  Made all the XP from Bootlegger/Story missions.

Just when you thought the camp couldn't get more broken:

 

Camp moved from where I left it.....but when I get to the new location:

 

 

Icon's there, but no camp.

I ride to where the camp WAS, dragging a deer on a rope with one on the back of the horse, nothing there, ride back to the icon: nothing. A couple of minutes later, the camp appears again.

Donate deers, do a supply run (catch the wagon), hunt some more critters and come back to donate them, production halted again.

Do ANOTHER supply run (steal the supply bag from the store), hunt a couple of critters....production is STILL halted.

 

 

Notice the supply bar is FULL, materials are FULL also!

 

Can't sell shine 'cause that's broken, now the camp won't function at all even IF you can get it set up somewhere on the map.

Did changing sessions fix this issue?  That's pretty bad.
