Are you trying to dig up the spots from the online map? You'll need a metal detector to find them and dig something up. Without the detector, you can find more obvious digspots (pile of dirt), booze, Tarot Cards and eggs. Do that until you have enough rank and money to buy the metal detector. The fun starts there

Some of the buried items are either bugged some days, or the spots are wrong, even with the metal detector.

 

Don't despair, it's slow as hell at first, but once you get going it adds up really fast.

Well, ran into my first modder on RDO PC. Spawned everyone in session to the islands on Flat Iron Lake just west of Rhodes, then spawned a sh*t-ton of cougars, bears and lions to feast on us. Me and a buddy stood on the shipwreck and shot everything we could while others tried to escape the island, which was of course in vain since the modder kept spawning everyone back. Didn't go on for too long but it's a concern since GTA Online has the same problem but thousand-fold and Rockstar still don't seem to care about modders/script kiddies ruining the game for all others. I'll probably even get banned since I helped myself to some (poor) cougar pelts after all the shooting was done

That all sounded like fun to me provided i have my pump shotgun, Lancaster, lots of ammo, and lots of tonics.
Well maybe not fun if i was pulled from something important like doing a sale.
I play on console, and the current broken state RDRO is in is no fun.

I'm up to my ass in coupons for coats and vests and sh*t up to level 15.

I'm somewhere in the higher 150s. Sure, there's a 15 in there, but I hate myself for being tempted to buy stuff I don't want just because it's on sale.

 

This must be what my ex felt like. All I need now is a couple of excuses to convince myself it's a good buy.

 - my game gets stuck in loading screen, when I want to switch the lobby ingame.

- Moonshine product gets reseted at 19/20 (lost dollars, ingredients and patience, rockstar ticket is still open)

- bootlegger mission leads to stuck in loading screen

- animal spawn is almost not present

I was in the middle of hunting and had a mission pop up "rescue the buyer" kinda like a camp defend but for moonshine.  I didn't know there was one of these.  So I traveled over kill the NPCs, and the buyer is in a prison wagon.  Whenever someone is in the prison wagon I always take the wagon with them in it to the way point.  I did the same here, drove the wagon into the yellow circle way point and went to shoot the lock off of the wagon but it didn't work.  I then pulled the wagon out of the yellow spot by just a bit and tried the lock again and it worked!!!.....except the buyer just stood there, couldn't tell him to follow me and the mission was lost.  I went back to the moonshine shack and I no longer had a buyer to sell my product to.

You jest but you are not wrong. There "anti-cheat" system will flag that you have too many Pelts in such a short space of time but the guy that is spawning them will get away with anythig.

I never said I don't mute them afterwards. I was making an observation that they are more prevalent on weekends and holidays and I'm not going to disable my general chat just to avoid hearing a random squeaker.

This game has been unplayable since the update for moonshine. On XBL:

 

- Near impossible to find game to hunt to fulfill daily missions requirements;

- Can't easily switch servers now, literally have to shut down game and reboot it.

- Still buggy trying to lay a camp down too often.

Good thing there isn't some major event going on where people buy a lot of gifts or anything. Imagine breaking your game to such an extent that it pretty much doesn't work most of the time, just before such an event?

That would be emberassing.

Should have known....., the weekend warriors and bored f*cks are early this week. Holidays a coming, so...., that's gonna be a week and some of doing the necessary daily and get the heck out again. Was shooting up Blackwater a daily today? No? I think a bunch of idiots got it wrong then.

It was fine for the first few days, then shortly before the snow. Servers went f*cked.
