I don't understand what kind of bullsh*t programming underlies this game.

How the hell did they make this game so that when one thing is fixed or change, it causes a Keanu Reeves Chain Reaction that f*cking destroys everything and ruins completely unrelated things for no apparent reason?

It's like the updates on this game are drunk assholes playing Jenga with the game's code.

No for real man somebody explain to me how on f*cking earth things get randomly better or worse with every update. It's so mind-bogglingly inconsistent and chaotic that I mean sh*t...

This has to be the worst online game experience in the past 30 years, relative to how good the single player game is.

It's like the f*cking Adjustment Bureau with this sh*t. Fix a turkey spawning issue and all of a sudden the ducks are f*cking coyotes. Fix a shirt collar clipping with a coat and the missions in Ambarino won't load. Speed up the process of skinning animals and NPC's start disappearing from boats. Nothing makes sense. We're all f*cked.

For f*cks sakes it's like Anonymous seriously has this game on lock and is just f*cking with Rockstar. This sh*t makes literally no sense. How the f*ck can one thing get fixed and then something that worked fine before no longer works?

This sh*t is just disgusting at this point. They're just f*cking with us man. I think it's totally intentional. Nobody, no set of programmers could ever f*ck up this bad, this consistently, on accident.

This online game is built upon sand.

I think the camp icon was there, but the actual camp was not.  I have seen one deer since 830...its now 11:30

Sorry man - it's not fixed. Still only works sometimes. Still doesn't work in certain situations. You've just been lucky. I thought it was fixed. But as it is with all things in this game...

My guess is we are getting the infinite loading screens because they tried to fix the way we would spawn in private for some missions.

 

Once again Rockstar goes after issues that could make money-making easier instead of game-breaking issues. It's getting tiresome.

And another guy attacked me and got really angry then I retaliated and absolutely destroyed him, which caused him to switch to explosive rounds(Didn't help him) and then got so mad and used some words that got him a communication ban on Xbox Live. He then switched to a different account to continue his verbal abuse and got another ban.

He did not take to losing well.

 

I am a cheater, a hacker, some less than nice words etc. because I can't be targeted with auto aim(Defensive Mode), can one shot him from any distance(Sharpshooter Card, Peak Condition & Winning Streak with a Carcano Rifle) and when he does hit me I don't die. I tried telling him that a shotgun is not a weapon to use at 50+ meters range, but he did not take to that advice well either.

I've been having a bitch of a time getting a solo lobby from a resupply or bounty mission. That was until last night when I launched a moonshine mission. Sadly my first reaction was "f*ck the mission, I need to stock up on fat and deer and whatnot." And of course, the world was like a zoo. Deer and ducks and geese galore. It was like being let loose in a candy shop. Got almost all of my fat and got my camp resupplied to 3/4 full. Didn't even care about the timer not did I make any attempt to complete the moonshine mission.

 

THIS is what it's come to folks. Having to enjoy the game using trickery because R* can't be arsed to limit lobby population OR offer an invite only option. What makes it even more maddening is how much I adore this franchise. To see RDO treated like sh*t or like some f*cking ATM to shareholders just makes it even harder to put up with.

So I finally get the moonshine delivery to work again...then 20 yards down the road a blue dot swings around. I have to get off the damn wagon, came so close to killing both him and his horse with my trusty shotty, but no...he dynamites the wagon, tries to kill me, fails, gets hit and runs away.

 

I so very much hate griefers in R* games. Give us private lobbies now please. Bad enough we have to put up with the mission failure and disconnects, griefers too? F*cking hassle trying to make dough in this game any other way than antique collector, which is sad imo. .

This is very dramatic but somehow beautifully poetic to me.

 

I had similar sentiments as I sat before black loading screens after trying to start missions. Several times, I had to Task Manager out of the damn game.

 

As I logged in for the first time after the update, I even said out loud, "Well, what's going to be broken, though?" Never in my life have I encountered a gaming company that breaks things when they fix things/add updates. Somehow I keep coming back for more though.

Just got my second blue screen of death and seventh (eighth? tenth? black screen) failure while waiting for a moonshine delivery to begin.

Keep in mind that ALL supplies and goods to be sold are lost each time this happens. So that means I've lost about $500? More? How much has been lost in opportunity cost here? What about my faith in existence?

So this means that LESS THAN HALF of all moonshine sales I have attempted have even allowed me to get out of the mother f*cking shack.

Rockstar:
"Here is a shiny cookie covered with delicious icing."

The game does not work. It just doesn't work. I mean seriously. You can't say this game is out of BETA phase. This is still a f*cking BETA game.

I sh*t you not I'm not kidding at all I'm putting on my shoes and going to the local bar to get drunk and watch NFL games. Goodbye.

I had wondered whether moonshine sales were open to attack, I haven't managed to start one yet, so yeah, it looks like my life as a moonshiner will last exactly as long as it takes me to hit rank 20. 

 

It's a worse version of being a Trader.

I've done a few sales now and they are okay if you can finish or even start them. Didn't have any other player interference at all. I've seen some players do sale runs near my camp and I was able to aim and shoot at them (didn't do the shooting bit, though), so I guess there's no safe delivery option much. 

The fact that I've only gone up to rank 3 in a few days time says enough about how eager I am to rank it all up to max; not at all. I find it quite underwhelming so far. The missions are the most fun and I'm not ranking them high.

I'm in no rush either, if I didn't want the rank 20 version of the horse I probably wouldn't bother at all.

 

The Outlaw Pass doesn't end until March, so this role is it, progression wise, until April next year at the earliest, if I have to I'll play the long game and use story mission replays to grind through the ranks before the next update comes.

I can barely believe the state this DLC has been delivered in.

I did not ask for a pet coyote, but apparently I have one now. He just hangs out in my tent. My dog, Commander Bork, doesn't seem to mind him being there. 

 

The first time I noticed the coyote, I went in and kicked him and he ran off. Didn't bother shooting him, he was 1 star quality. I went on a treasure hunt, sold stuff to Madam Nazar, then fast traveled back to camp and he was back in my tent again!

 

Anyone else having weird sh*t like this? Is this haxx or just Rockstar's brokenness? He just stands there and sh*ts (literally) in my tent. What the hell?

That's the reason why my Bounty Hunter isn't maxed. I see all that time pop up on the timer and I can't resist the urge to hunt.

Just lost out on $150 because the damn game did a black screen after I click 'sell' on my Moonshine -_-

Game spawned me miles away from my shack after a 'close game' but apparently it had no trouble making my Shine just *poof*!

Today I even got a black screen when trying to sell camp goods.

There was one thing I could try: I've linked the game to Steam, though it doesn't fully recognize the game, it allows me to save screenshots, since in their infinite wisdom R* hasn't provided a working screenshot function.

 

So I restarted the game using only the RGL, chose camp spawn (and actually spawned in MY camp...YAY), and my goods were still there, much to my amazement.

Walked up to the table and chose a sell mission...it worked, got the money, and also burned off the 'travel XXXXX distance in a delivery wagon' daily by killing the ambushers at the station, then driving the wagon around in circles for 5 minutes.

 

I'm not bothering with moonshining until they fix it.

I did move my shack to the Heartlands (where R* has found the only rocky, bumpy, twisty road in the entirety of the plains) and had a free mash coupon, so set up another flavored mix, drank some shine for another daily,

i will not set foot in there again until it is FIXED FFS, except to take care of dailies that don't require actually operating the business.

 

I can run the camp, collect things, and use up my treasure maps until then.
