Minor B&M, but why is the $ and XP payout for Manhunt event so bad? Gold is on par with everything else, but for some reason money and XP are significantly lower.

I've never seen anyone do that on a livestream yet.

It came up as an even yesterday during a stream and the comment was "nope, not doing that, it sucks ass".

Well it's not as bad Day of Reckoning, which is just filled with glitches, but other players can troll you pretty bad, often ruining your chances at winning.

There weren't many animals for me last night and there were only 10 players in session, but I thought that was because of where I was in the Cumberland Forest.

I struggled to keep my camp at 1/3 materials stock.

 

And firing through leaves or bushes always results in a miss? WTF?

Reinstalled the game today, just in case Friday's update is a hoot. Thank you for the warm welcome, Rockstar. This is literally the first thing I saw after the loading screen completed and hearing a disconcerting noise....... :

LOL same thing happened to me once. I spawned and instantly got attacked by a gator. Nice, we can spawn next to predators but never our camps.

I always leave the game in my camp.

I never spawn into the game anywhere near.

 

Actually, I have a feeling it's Cripps' camp....

Last night the bastard said "this is a nice spot, I'll miss it when we leave it".

Same here, decided to try to get some dailies done before work. 

 

Lobby 1: No camp no animals. 

Lobby 2: Camp but no animals

Lobby 3: camp but no animals. Even looked near Lagras for alligators nothing, absolutely nothing.

It's kinda sad how many friend requests my girl character gets compared to my guy.

Five over the past week for her against two since my guy first came online.

I'm not saying none of these are sincere, but I kinda figure the majority of these are also the guys that respond to PS messages from xxxGameChick69xxx like it's a real person.

 

And what did you hope to achieve? Chat me into sending you a picture of my tits?

That is an interesting observation indeed, it's also funny as hell.  I mean, every time I see a female character, I can't help but wonder if it's acualy a female behind the monitor or a guy that just like to look at female character (or wahtever reason). Nothing wrong with that of course, but I am willing to bet that 90% of the time it's a dude..

 

I was very dissapointed when I couldn't move my PS4 character to PC and I thought about making female this time just to see the clothing options, but it just didn't feel right. Did that after my GTAO account was stolen and all my progress deleted, but it also didn't fell right and lets be honest, the character creator is wonky at best... You can slam beard on the guy and he looks like a cawpoke, but the chick is stuck with that face

 

Now to my own B/M.

Anyone else feels like every single role makes Stranger missions obsolete waste of time? They seem very unrewarding and gets repetitive fast. (not that roles are not, but at least they pay)

Well, they do pay gold right?

Kinda worth it in between spells of hunting (if you can find deer).

Other than that, my only source of gold income is doing dailies and rolling over achievements.

My B&M: just as I was delivering an oil wagon to my camp two buggers rode in and shot Cripps (not that I can blame them for that, just shoot your own Cripps next time).

The mission ended and the camp turned defensive again, so we couldn't shoot each other for a few seconds and they made their getaway.

That cost me $4 to revive the old peckerhead and my production was halted until he recovered (maybe 3-4 minutes).

Why would someone do that other than to be an ass?

 

I probably could have gotten off a shot or two but they didn't shoot at me or the wagon so I hesitated.

Always give 'em the benefit of the doubt, until proven to be dicks.

This has been happening a lot lately.  I've had it 3-4 times since this past weekend and I've only played a few hours over those days.  It's annoying, the other person should have to pay.

Yes, just like shooting someone's horse.

Not that $4 is a big deal, but it's the principle.

What's worse is that during PVP freemode events you still have to pay for another's player horse.

It should be disabled, like insurance is disabled during certain PVP freemode events and freemode missions in GTAO.

when playing online; how come I need 6-8 bullets of a repeater when others can kill me with 1 bullet? its annoying as hell..............

The NPCs in hideouts one shot me often with a repeater or bolt action...through bushes no less!

I can't kill a deer through a leaf using either the bolt action or Carcano using express rounds.

They were only good for XP prior to the FP update. They always sucked for money, and gold wise they were okay back before dailies, and even when the dailies were just .01 prior to the May update.

Haven't played in a while. Bought a new coat, pretty cool looking. The hair clipping on the back is dreadful, so bad I had to change. Shame.
