Sorry, you're having that issue. It's such a slap in the face, considering they can check everything about your account.

I did make a point of saving it. Still got the clip, which I could still send them but its the fact that they're point-blank refusing to even entertain the matter.

So, f*ck them.

I'll do a coin tour and make my money that way from now on.

Literally ran a survey for the most requested community features and changes for the latest Ghost Recon and are actively working on what players want to make a better game. Their communication with their players and openness on discussing hard issues along with their dogged support of all their online games, even ones other studios would abandon after a few months, is f*cking fantastic.

 

When it comes to single player Rockstar need to continue doing what they're doing but when it comes to online they need to take a long hard look at what other studios do because the excuses they pull out on why they don't communicate stuff are all garbage.

To this day, seven years later, we're still getting obnoxious and annoying phone calls in GTA:O despite a mute option being requested for all that time. Granted, it's probably too deep in the gameplay loop for it to be muted (you need to receive phone calls to launch stock defense missions or to be informed of latest DLCs etc) but they never tried to lessen the frustration with it, they actually made it worse over time. I don't have much expectations for RDRO after the fact.

You really can't fault Ubisoft when it comes to that level of interaction with the Ghost Recon community. I'd love for R* to go down a similar route with RDO.

 

I did have some hope in the first weeks after release, weekly "The state of RDO" Newswire articles, communication around rebalancing etc. but that all came to a rather swift end.

 

R*s lack of communication with the communities surrounding GTAO and now RDO reeks of arrogance as far as I'm concerned.

 

There should be communication regarding the more serious bugs, 2 of the 3 roles have been practically unplayable at one point or another between the BH black screen and camps/animals not spawning, not a single word.

 

R* made quite a big deal out of the feedback site, they started to communicate with players regarding our feedback, but instead of that being continued it seems to have been tossed off.

 

There should be more news and details regarding upcoming updates, but all R* seem to have any interest in doing is extending the life of the SOON™ meme.

 

I, and I'm sure many of us, could go on and on. R*s lack of communication is an almost endless source of fuel for my frustration with them.

Amount of salty ass players in this game is amazing lol. Lvl 12 and 16 decide to start sh*t with me. I kept killing them. Then some high rank white knights decide, we’ll one of them...starts flipping me off. Um ok whatever. So I go about my day omw to the bounty board in San denis, I notice they caught a bounty...well since their one high level buddy decided to start sh*t with me, I literally blew them up with explosive arrows and then destroyed their bounty wagon as well and waltzed my ass back to camp to craft some tonics. Of course they were butthurt and followed. I just point and laughed at them and then my game crashed. Guess it’s tone for me to not be nice to anyone and treat them like I do on gta online. Bc rightfully I’m getting tired of it tbh :)

I wish the hobo would PLACE MY F*CKING CAMP, it didnt get placed like 50+ times & several days in a row now, how am i ever to complete the trader role if i just never get my camp? also in the discount week i spend something like 2k on it (buying a theme, nicer tent, food pot, weapons locker, dog, etc) and because of this bs i have seen the results of that literally only once, my camp never spawned since...

Been having the same problem, no word on a fix.  Only way I got him to setup a camp was to keep changing servers.  It's a pain, but eventually it works.  I hope they address the problem soon, but it's been going on for a while, hasn't it?

Bscly been like this since the PC launch, but somehow its getting worse the longer the game is out. (prolly cuz more camp spots are taken or whatever)

For me, since the Frontier Pursuits update, RDO's ongoing issues have generally been an all-or-nothing deal, either it's working fine or else it's a total mess. Lately though I've been stuck in a "Pick Two" situation with a choice between Working Camp, Functional Animal Spawns and Reliable Connection; I can't have all three. Getting two-thirds of the way to where I wanna be feels worse than the total disaster lobbies...

Can I please one day just get a shot glass of vodka at the saloon. I feel like the bartender is trying to give me alcohol poisoning  serving me up all those bottles of straight liquor.

PVP (lump in the tonic system and the absolute-dumb-as-rocks Ability Card system) in this game is the biggest joke I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing in my long gaming career. I have never seen such a perfect trifecta of bullsh*t. Ever.

 

Un-f*cking-real.

 

The bigger joke is Rockstar being genuinely surprised people aren't actually playing this dumpster fire of a mode. To think, people actually got paid real, tangible money to design this sh*t.

Vodka wasn’t really present in the US prior to the 50’s.  Most spirits were distilled locally or regionally, and almost zero producers made Vodka.  If they did, they probably lived on the west coast or in the “money-laden” Northeast because it would be considered a novelty.

 

Whiskey &  Bourbon are American - easy to figure out there.

Gin is more European, but was prevelant in the U.S. at the time.

Rum obviously comes from the Caribbean but would be around the Southern States (especially St. Denis).

 

The one drink we’re definitely missing is Tequila.  Maybe when they add Mexico.

No, they should leave SP alone, if they aren't adding content to it at least stop freaking breaking it with each online update.

I think the first Vodka distillery opened in the 1930's on the east coast. I could look it up but I am too lazy. It is whiskey we get in the beer  bottle at the saloon, I must just have vodka on my mind lol. I could go for the additions of bourbon, rum and tequila would be fun down in Armadillo. I think it would be cool having different drinks in different areas.

Apparently someone thinks that when players are sitting about looking at their maps after vistiing Madam Nazar is a perfect opportunity to get those player headshots that are part of the dailies.  🙄

Another thing to add, the annoying limited soundtrack. The same god damn ambient music regardless of state or location. I'm so tired of the same few tracks playing constantly over and over and over and over and over and over. Why the hell is the same music from New Hanover playing in New Austin?

 

RDR1 had different music for different PARTS of a state you were in, let alone a different ambience each state.

True. RDR1 ambient music was out of this world.

Although the ambient soundtrack of Redemption 2 fits the mood and the world well, at least when it comes to the Story mode, I agree that Redemption did it better in terms of the variety of the soundtracks.

I turned off the music long ago. Never would've done that in RDR1.

It does seem to be a general bug, but its a serious one and needs fixing ASAP. If they can't prevent disconnects, then they ought to not zero your goods when you start.

All due respect, but f*ck am I calling them. They should be acting on my report.

How this gets through QA I have no idea.

Maybe I'm just wrong but I thought some of the ambient music was different depending on the location? There are definitely some tracks I've only heard in Ambarino and some I've only heard in New Hannover

Probably is, and the tracks are so damn "samey" my brain mixes em up. That's more a RDR2 problem than RDO-specific though.

They got real "artsy" on the RDR2 music. I love some of it but none of it is as evocative as the original RDR music. Within seconds of playing that game I'm feeling smack dab in the middle of my own spaghetti western.
