If I am stood on a road why can't the Wagon spawn next to me instead of across the hills and far away?

I love it when it spawns and the horse stops on the railroad tracks. 

 

Oh, and when I try to use the same method that I do in GTA for my car, to get it to spawn closer. (Staring at the ground, facing the opposite of where I want it to show up.)

 

Even better when I’m staring at the small river nearby, it takes forever, I click R3 to look real quick, and when I’m back facing forword, it’s too scared to walk through 3 feet of water.

Tbh, Meanwhile I came to think that this massive d/c problems are caused on the client side not on the server. You probably have got sh*tty internet.

i have several friends who only very rarely get disconnected. 
 

camp pitching issue is a thing though. However it almost always works for me by fast traveling to the other side of the map, or starting a bounty hunt (solo lobby), cause the pitching issue is related to the player count near you.

So here we go...

I had to uninstall my SoundblasterX G6 in order to start the game AT ALL

The menu mouse control is a disaster

When I started to play RDOnline I realized I have to have 15Gold (you know,the moneygrab currency) to start any profession like Bounty hunter, Trader..etc. You can conveniently buy gold for real money or grind them by doing some of those freelance missions for 0.3 gold and $20-$25 as a reward till you get that amount of gold to unlock a part of the game that is locked behind a Grind/Pay wall. Well done Rockstar. You could do the the Horley story missions except you'll need to get into a f*cking matchmaking cos the game won't let you do it as a solo character. You think you Posse up with one of your friend to do it then, (NOBODY there to get into a matchmaking with, I was the only person there trying to do it) but Noooooooooo..... if you're friend in the posse doesn't have the same mission active because he's done it already or hasn't started it he can't join you in that mission and you can't join into his missions either. so basicaly THERE'S NO f*ckIN OPTION FOR ME TO PLAY WITH ANY OF MY FRIENDS IN A f*ckIN ONLINE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!! unless we always play together and always do the exact same thing in the exact same time it seems which is OUTRAGEOUS. I can't even team up with stranger unless I sit in the same matchmaking que for hours waiting for someone to turn up and get into the matchmaking. WTF Rockstar??? WTF????

So the game is unoptimized as f*ck, loads of people still can't get it to work, you can't tame a horse, you can't steal a horse, you can't just rob a train as there's nothing and no one's on it, you can't get into a story mission and you can't start a profession without paying up. What you can do is ride around shooting people, enjoy the scenery, hunt for animals (very slowly getting some $$ out of it, even a f*cking BOW is level locked!!) and you can do some freeroam missions that pays f*ck all..... But not to worry guys,not to worry...... The SHOP is up and running flawlessly!! go buy your Gold there so you can afford a gun or EVEN start a profession BUT make sure your friend buys some gold too and unlocks the same f*cking profession so you guys can actually play SOME PARTS of the game together....

A joke.... the whole design, economy, mission requrements...etc smells of f*cking GREED. "GO buy our gold or we're gonna make your life in game miserable! if you want to enjoy this game you better pay up Son.."

f*ck this, I'm out of here. Unfortunately I already payed for the game. I should have bought some special or ultimate or whatever edition. I'd have some extra guns and horse and gold too...Silly me... I didn't give enough money to Rockstar... £55 a game is not enough to get the content... I got a feeling this will not be approved by any moderator... You can't just say what you want... You can say what they want

I don't class drip feed as content. To say this and GTAO is a Games as a Service or whatever they are called the content is sorely lacking. Ten minutes of content each week is laughably pathetic. They go months with nothing but silence and wonder why their own community calls them Cockstar.

Was lucky enough to be in a lobby today where it got down to just 5 of us for a while and you can see just how alive the map can be when it's not flooded with players. Hideouts spawning, animals everywhere, escort missions popping up, camp defends, etc. I'd play every day if this was the experience I would get every time.

Uuuuhhhhhh, what the actual f*ck?!

Like everybody else i started with a "Kentucky Saddler" horse, 3 white blocks in the speed bar, 2 in acceleration bar. I reached level 30 yesterday so today i figured i should finally get a new horse, i spend somewhere in the region of 450 dollars on a second stable and a new horse, a "Criollo" with 5 white blocks in the speed bar and 3 in the acceleration bar. I test the horse in free-mode, doesn't seem all that different, so i figure i'd join a mission to compare it to other player horses.

I drop in a mission with a level 14 and a level 8, both having the default "Kentucky Saddler" horse, we're tasked to ride somewhere so im thinking 'ha im going to beat these guys', only to have a horse that runs at the EXACT same speed at them?! (Edit: and im not talking about the whole follow-the-leader speed thing) what? how in the bloody f*cking hell?

Made a support ticket, if this isnt a bug i want a refund, f*ck this, the horse is ugly (its f-ing blue?! i dont even care if those exist irl or not it looks fake & dumb af) and i only choose it for its stats, but apparently the stats mean d*ck.

LOL what a funny dude, i have a 100mb download internet, not the best, but far from sh*tty, and i get random d/c's. some times i play for hours without one, other times i cant stay in a session for more then 5 minutes.

 

I have no problem on any other game or app, but this one, so its probably on my side /s

You have to remember that for some people if they don't have a problem with something, then there isn't a problem at all and everyone is just being stupid.

Doesn't matter if it is 5 people or 5 thousand people, there isn't a problem because that ONE guy doesn't have said problem.

 

You have to bear with those special kind of people, they can't understand that other people have problems. But of course, if THEY have a problem then it should be fixed YESTERDAY! And ANY delay is completely and totally UNACCEPTABLE!

I fixed my connection issue, but I still think Rockstar should get their heads out of their asses and start f*cking fixing issues. At this point the game is just becoming more and more broken with no fixes being implemented at all. It's pathetic.

 

[EDIT] Let me be VERY specific about my fix. I fixed it by using my phone as a hotspot. I run my internet and my phone from the same company, as in, same internet and my wired connection is faster, better in every way and have an open NAT, whereas my phone is a 4G moderate NAT, but it works for some weird ass reason where my wired does not.

Does that make sense? No it does not, does that mean the fault is on my side? No it does not. It is clearly on Rockstars side seeing as so many people have these connection issues that you can't go an hour without several people complaining about it on social media.

i couldnt care less about online in rdr, i only got in by mistake and went along to see how it was compared to gtao, its boring AF, reminds me of the first days of GTAO were missions almost didn't pay to buy ammo. i could spend a couple of hour in it, but nothing like GTAO or elders scroll online with 3000+ hours in.

 

i did google the code, and all the so called "fixes" didnt work for most ppl so i just say fu*k it. i even found this twitter account lol

Get used to it. At least you didn't spend nearly $1000 on a Klaudhopper just for it to run into every tree, rock, barn and broken chair, and run from anything that has a tail.

Ok so I spawn in free roam, somehow I am in a posse whom are doing a bounty. Can't open online menu, can't ads. Game freezes but I somehow manage to close application. Ps4 black screens. Error 300186 whatever the f*ck. "You need to update system software" wat !? There is no updates. Weird sh*t anyway restart game spawn in a poker game wtf is going on? I quit. Great now lets tryna have a look at daily objectives: complementary snacks oh sweet i am behind valentine saloon now. Eat that sh*t. Get drunk then go cook meat, figure Ima do a mission for the boy while I am at it. Boat theft meh...okay I'll do it. As it stands right now, my husband and I can't even group up to play missions together. Every time he invites me to a posse, he can't use his horse. He gets on it, but it won't respond to controls. It has full health and energy and all that. It's just stuck.

 

Missions are bugged. Before the "horse stuck" glitch, we were working on story progression but got to one where we have to chase down a carriage and capture some dude. We tried it twice--the dude never spawns in the carriage! One of us has to leave the posse in order to stop the mission because the game thinks he's in there. Uugh. And that's another thing. In GTAO, people can leave/drop missions without them failing (other than heists), but in RDRO, it fails the mission for everyone else? Boooo.

 

Camp won't set up for either of us when we ask it to half the time, but will randomly be on the map after completing a mission or something or changing sessions.

 

Beautiful but glitchy-ass game. I'm not surprised, though. I always feel like Rockstar puts so much into the way things look while not making things as "mechanically/operationally sound" as they could be. The scenery is beautiful but at the end of the day it's all pixels and they're not really helping me to accomplish things in the game. I can only sit there so long and be like, "Oh, look at the beautiful mountains and trees," while being frustrated because I can't get my camp to set up or something and I have skins and animal carcasses to turn into Cripps.

 

I try not to bitch too much because I'm not a gaming developer. I don't know anything about it. I can turn my computer on and off, my husband built it for me and has to show me how to work it.

No, this excuse is stupid, if it was my internet then every freaking game that I play should disconnect me as well.

I am 100% positive that this game disconnects you whenever something goes wrong with some script and NOT just because of the servers.

I used an actual terrible internet a few days ago and I didn't have a single disconnect issue, but I wasn't doing anything, just roaming around collecting coins, yesterday when I changed my isp and got a better service it disconnected me a couple times when a lot of things were happening on screen, players fighting each other, Saint Denis, Valentine.. stuff like that.

 

We are 1 year into this mess and it is still happening.
