Apparently to hard! Private lobbys should be perfect! I don´t interact with other players anyway.....

 

When starting up the game I have noticed I´m in a lobby of 17 the last two days. I can play a hour or two before R* f*ckery starts....

Same issues with camp locations as before - rendering most of my dailies (and reasons for playing) totally useless. Only now Cripps seems even more eager to make like a Transformer and Roll Out.

 

 

"Did I ever tell you about the time I moved your camp to the Phantom Zone? I'll tell ya, but you gotta find me first..."

Not only that but they could easily draw on me but I couldn't target them. Even when I parleyed they still kept killing us. 

There used to be a bug where at a certain distance you could be sniped in your camp, even if your flag was up.

I thought it was fixed but looks like its returned.

Yeah, my plan was to go the PC route because it's more moddable/glitchable, but I then realized that I don't enjoy the game enough (especially at this point) to level a character just to play on PC.

 

With all of the Rockstar bugs and bad programming going on, I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point (though I'm playing at least three other games more than RDO at the time).

Why is my game suddenly looking stretched/wide ? I didn't mess arround with no settings. My tv is set up perfectly fine and hasn't been touched for months. There's also an odd "white bar" bottom of the screen when I load up the game before I get the double barrel R* logo thing. Ps4 anyone have this ?

Joining shootout series just gets you in races most of the time. I just don't understand these stupid problems online has.

Have you tried adjusting it in your console settings?

On PS4 it's under settings>sound and screen>display area settings.

Yeah. I had a look at that right away because I been so irritated by this sudden "change" ? Resolution as well as HDR and RGB range are on 《automatic》just as they were before. HDR is set to On in game. Had to lower my safe zone to 97 horizontal and vertical because my Hud would not even fit the screen anymore. Still looks awkward and stretched out. Also turned off 《game mode》 so detail is back but I now "feel" the input delay some televisons have. I am f*cking pissed right now.

My dad had this problem with his tv. Somehow switching from an hd channel back to a non hd channel made his tv stretch the picture to fit. When he went back to hd it was messed up and had to be changed manually. He has a wide, stretch, normal and another setting which I forget atm. The hd channel was fixed once he changed that setting back to normal.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I am used to switching between channels for other uses like netflix tv ect. But usually it automatically reverts back and I have any dynamic adjustment settings turned off so I don't need to get trough all that fine tuning each time.

 

Don't know what has happened since yesterday night. Thx for tryna help anyway.

All these problems we had in Beta are still lingering. The roles are completely imbalanced, yet instead of boosting the other two roles (nope...that would be too much fun), they'll likely just nerf the collector. And everything in the game -- every single problem -- is caused by a single source issue: too many players in a session. The ideal number is around 16 players per session. Go above 20 and wildlife definitely stops spawning, camps don't pitch (or they pack up too often), and disconnects are rampant.

 

I realize this game isn't their highest concern (GTA6 is), but it wouldn't take much work on their part to drop the number of players per session, and that would fix the game. If they're not going to provide invite-only sessions -- though I wish they would -- they should at the very least do this simple fix.

I used to clean my guns every time the game said they where dirty-(Slaps Head) But now I wait till the degrade bar clears to the next segment

I thought the camp spawn was fixed but since yesterday it started having them issues again, today i cant even pitch it at all(reboot didnt work neither did solo lobby). I just hate how the camp is connectes to dailies and a role.

R*, here are some suggestions for tomorrow's daily objectives:

- Spawn a camp in fewer than 10 attempts!

- Spot an animal, any animal!

- Switch to your metal detector in fewer than 3 tries!

- Don't get thrown by your horse when it sees a terrifying squirrel!

- Search the internet for Madame Nazar's location!

- Search the internet for that final collectible location!

- Keep yourself from throwing your controller down in anger (low hostility at home)!

- Stay connected for one game day!

It confuses me how R* thought it was balanced in the first place. Instead of making each Collectible spawn in a truly random place they all just spawn in the same places everytime with them respawning after you collect them. Someone at R* must have stopped and thought "Hmmm won’t people just farm these on a day by day basis and make loads of money?"

 

Every three days should have had a single set of items spawn, once they were collected and sold thats it, you wait until the next day. Bonus Weeks could have had two sets spawn for double money.

 

The spawns should have been truly random as well. Any item can spawn in any location so you may find a card buried etc. And they would be random to each player so you would need to buy the maps.

Randomizing the collectibles would definitely make collecting more challenging and a lot more fun. And it is a reasonable suggestion, but since it involves a little work they'll probably just keep it as is and nerf either the number of collectibes or their value.

It seems with all the Perks you unlock that that was what they were going for, having Maps and Perks to narrow the search area for example. The entire Collector skill tree is pointless except for the stuff locked behind arbitrary grind walls.

You’re reaching man. You’re complaining cause something happened while you weren’t paying the game? Even on auto pilot numerous things can happen to you during gameplay. Somebody in front of you on a narrow road while making a delivery is a common occurrence. Shouldn’t blame online for not making your delivery for you.

As MTU lowering and NAT testing don't work on consoles in RDO, port blocking and IP whitelisting (along with character transfer, I'm not starting again R*), could tempt me to switch to PC for RDO.

Since I'm in Australia I'd be matched with players from China and South-East Asia. And while many Chinese players are polite, there is an obscenely high number of them who hack rampantly in GTAO and other games.

They get ping-banned in games like BF1, so they use hacks to cheat the system and present their ping as 5.... how the hell you gonna be a continent away from the server you're playing on with a ping of FIVE!!! while I am less than 100k's away and at 80ping.

 

Then they headshot 5 people with a Colt 1911 in 3 seconds...

 

I'm at the point where I only want to play Multiplayer games by myself or with bots. And only because of griefers harassing, hackers trolling and other players being too dense to play the objective.

 

Wrong side of the tracks mission.... most replayed mission whenever I'm in it.

How hard is it to READ and LISTEN! Do not shoot/kill the men fleeing!!!

Inexcusable - sounds like a money grab.

I dont agree with calling it a money grab, its still a nice open world game (R* quality / showing why their titles literally take 100's of millions to develop) with a ton of detail, stuff to do, etc, etc. And its not like you have to pay for the multiplayer or anything, im mostly just pissed that they learned nothing from GTA:O

Edit: Actually, in all fairness they did one thing better compared to GTA:O, passive/defensive mode, you can actually play the game now while also in a state where other players cant screw you over.

Yea on PC it's just a matter of time before players start flying around on horses that crap out bears, cougars, dynamite arrows, demigorgons, etc.

I'm also guessing that it will be easier to glitch solo lobbies which would be what I would be looking forward to. So far I've seen a YT video of a guy kicking people out of his lobby using some program he was running.

If I am stood on a road why can't the Wagon spawn next to me instead of across the hills and far away?
