The camp glitch really makes this game unplayable

Seriously, if the games changes sessions and a character is in a different state or area, their camp should NOT have priority over yours as you are actually in Great Plains while they're over there in f*cking Lemoyne or Tumbleweed!

Aside from fixing the obvious and stupidly long glitch here; they really need to open up the map for more camp spots. 

 

I WANT and wouldn’t mind a camp in the snow, for example. The NW (Big Valley too) is my favorite part of the map. 

 

It’s the RDO equivalent of Mirror Park for me. 

 

Let me live there.

Camps shouldn’t spawn in regardless until you manually place one. Not everybody does it anyways.

The complete lack of spots to pitch camp between Cattail Pond and Adler Ranch frustrates the hell out of me.

 

It's my favourite area of the map by far and I can't see any good reason not to have the ability to pitch camp up there.

For me disconnects have been very few since recent updates.
My camp is way more stable since the most recent patch.
However animal spawning is still broken for me. A 20+ lobby = no animals.


Yesterday my camp was in a great location. North of Saint Denis between the tracks next to Copperhead.
At 18 i would see 1 heron and a gator or 2. Five minutes later and lobby is 21 or 22 and zero animals.

After about 2 hours of bounties and collectables i was near Rhodes and noticed lots of animals.
I also noticed my lobby was 10 and dropping. I then raced back to camp and was soon in a lobby of 2.

Long story short i went hogwild harvesting the ton of gators, toads, and birds that were spawning.
Overall i made 3 $500 deliveries, left with materials full, and also maxed out several pouch items.
After each delivery i fast traveled back to camp and was still in a lobby of 2.

It all ended when i traveled to Saint Denis. Lobby size went from from 2 to 22.

I got somewhat nostalgic after release of RDR2 on PC so I hoped into RDO again after more than 6 months.

Turned it off again after 10 minutes of trying to pitch the camp. How is this thing still broken after so much time is beyond me.

Whats the f*cking point in even playing condor egg now that almost everyone and their dog has memorised every possible spot for the egg and just dashes there the moment the event Starts? I cant remember the last time I played this event longer than 15 Seconds!

I dont get it either? Do they mean players, thing to do or NPC's? I haven't noticed a difference in the last two and to be frank, players can stay the f*ck away from me. The fewer players I see the more happy I am. The towns on PC are warzones, exactly like they were during the BETA on Consoles.

 

Once all the mouth breathers realise this is not GTAO with Horses it will settle down like Consoles did.

Digging for a coin near Butchers creek. Beaver bites me during animation. Dont get the coin. Coin gone from game. Doesnt matter if I restart game or PS4.

 

Digging for an Agate arrow in Cotorra springs. Get burned by water. Character starts to walk away. Cant stop or do anything. Have to respawn. Dont get arrow head. Arrow head gone from game.

The grand series I had tonight were my problem, it turns out, and had I not also been kicked out of the PS4 party with my buddy I'd never have known.

Since the start of this game untill now i have had maybe 10 disconnects. 

I think it has a lot more to to with everyones internet than they think.

Was in a posse with people i don´t know and suddenly they were gone and job abandon. We was close to each other and in offensive so the rest should have just turned dark blue instead but they were gone! Gone one member in a posse change lobby or do one stay behind when sessions is splitting and merging with other sessions?

I don't care. The Van Der Linde gang had to live in the snow for a while. I'd like to do it if I want. The dog will be fine and Cripps can kiss my arse.

 

And I don't like the area that much at all (selling missions could be a real pain, I'm afraid), but the more options, the better.

The camp spawn problem is back since the general fixes.  The menus are messed up again.  Animal spawns are still broken, but can be fixed by playing bounties.

oh word..........PC got warzones like Consoles......I have a PC thats good enough to play it, but I just don't have a copy yet on PC. I thought PC players were supposed to "act" better than Console players?

Here's my two for the moment (which have been there for me since the beginning).

 

Why the hell does opening maps/documents get interrupted by putting longarms away?! That sh*t is frustrating.

 

Secondly, why oh why did you tie opening the map with a longpress to the same damn button/longpress as notification popups! So many times I've picked up a collectible or whatever, hopped on my horse and pulled out the map to check where I wanted to go next only to end up in the damn pause menu associated with whatever the popup was, which of course I then have to longpress the exit button or exit through like four menus...

I lol'ed. This is indeed so much frustration. Feeding your horse from the satchel, open a treasure map... NOPE! Sheath longarms first. And you better wait for your character to sheath the second one too, because it will prioritise over performing any other action. Horrible!

My two biggest complaints exactly. It took me 4 tries to open a treasure map the other day because the first 3 tries were interrupted by my character putting the same gun away back to back...

 

Can't tell you how many times I've found a collectable and wanted to open the map right after to see where I was on the map only to be given the collection menu because they're the same button.

 

If I didn't love the world of RDR so much I would have stopped playing a while ago

The game could definitely do with a few quality of life improvements that's for sure.

 

Edit: and now the invisible knife while cooking is back (the knife is invisible until the first time you take it out/use it while skinning, so if you go to cook before then the meat will be floating, or at least that's how the bug worked before they fixed it the first time).

Unbelievable. I had something urgent that needed my attention just when I started a delivery run, and the game only gave me 20 minutes instead of 30 as usual, so I placed a weight on my X and put on the cinematic camera to keep the wagon going while I’m gone.

You know what I came back to, with five minutes left and nowhere near my destination? My character moving at a SNAIL’s pace because the road was blocked by a slow-ass wagon driver.

 

I’m going back to Story Mode. f*ck Online, I’m leaving it for a good while.

Deliveries are much easier if you don't listen to waypoints and just go off road. Just watch your radar for how close the elevation lines are to not go off a cliff.
