Not being able to spawn your camp is driving me crazy. We have a role that I’m unable to

manage half the time I get on the game due to the inability to spawn camp

Anyone else having issues with eagle eye not working whilst sprinting/galloping on your horse? Happened to me during the condor egg event, so annoying.

It just works that way. Don't think it is an issue.

Its a bug. Someone suggested it happened when you die. Changing sessions might be a solution.

You know what does annoy me?

The inconsistent damage system that R* has made, I can shoot a man in the leg from close range and he can still get up and run away at the same speed he was before? If I cap a punk ass in the leg he should be down screaming or crawling away. If I shoot him in his shooting arm he should drop his weapon.

It happens to me occasionally, dying stops EE+ from working and it takes a session change to make it work again.

Thank you. Violent games need more realism, if I blow someone’s legs off he should crawl and cry for mommy for a good minute before bleeding out.

First time I used explosives in RDR2 was the Black Belle mission where she has the house wired up and the explosions were glorious, I didn't expect the screaming but to be honest they die too quickly like you said. Its "AAH AH*dead*, that quickly.

 

Also another B&M is that the bow is too powerful, far too powerful. Unless is a head/neck shot or a heart shot it should not be taking down grown men in one shot.

I actually feel like the bow is severely under-powered...

Oh NPCs yeah its OP. You don't have to even fully hold the trigger to get the kill. Shoot the man in the toe and he die........ what type of crap is that?

 

Now if you wanna feel like the Juggernaut with no defensive reinforcement(ability cards, etc.):

Run at a Bow user with regular arrows and turn em into chicken nuggets in PvP

No, I dont want to swap hats!!!!!  Why do you keep asking to swap nasty hats with these NPE's after I have spent all this money and/or gold on my own hats? This camp vanishing sh*t is becoming a really game breaking nuisance now. Can't keep it up for more than 5 minutes, before the lobby merges again and sprays a full load of 'Camp-B-Gone' all over the place. I'm THIS close from deleting the whole game if these damned bugs and glitches aren't fixed OR addressed by Rockstar. What a joke of a game! Even my kids don't understand why I keep playing this piece of sh*t broken game!

I tell the game to put me in New Hanover, wanting to go to Valentine. Puts me at McFarlane's Ranch. Ok then. Fast travel to Valentine, pay 5 bucks. I'm there, awesome! then I disconnect. Like the tenth one today, at least.

 

Fine. I click on Free Roam to go back to Valentine...I'm at McFarlane's effing ranch again. 

 

No more of this today. Off I go to a game that works.

It took years before we were allowed to jog in our Houses and garages in GTAO and now we can run in Camp but our Horses and Wagons are still gimped until we cross some invisible force field.

I hate the ability card that grants hat wearers the ability to withstand extra head shots.

 

I enjoy the character creation system and the clothing and accessory options, but what sucks is how the game makes it so that you must wear a hat and use the hat ability card to even the odds in PvP.

 

Part of the RDO experience is character creation, and when the game forces you to choose between being on an equal playing field (but forced to wear a hat) or looking the way you want, but be weaker. That sucks.

He's referring to the eagle eye+ skill you can get from one of the roles, it allows you to keep eagle eye up while running/sprinting on foot/horse. Not sure what causes it to break but personally I can't get it to fix without a lobby swap usually.

Honestly I think you're putting too much stock into the card, unless you're referring to showdowns or something? It's never been an issue for me in free roam and I roll without a hat or that card equipped regularly.

Obviously just roaming around in free roam is rarely going to put you in situations where ability cards come into play, so it’s hardly an argument because the same could be said with all cards. Most players can spend 90% of their time in free roam without PvP conflict, that’s obvious. I’m referring to that 10ish% of the time when PvP does happen. It’s doesnt matter if it’s a PvP mode or one of the rare occasions when free roam PvP conflicts arise. That fact is they happen, and when they do, ability cards matter. So trying to belittle an issue simply because they instances in which they happen isn’t constant doesn’t mean it’s of little importance. I also don’t wear a hat on my character, but when hostile encounters arise, it’s pretty clear which players have bullet proof cowboy hats. It becomes a handicap battle unless we oblige the Rockstar rule that one must wear a bullet proof hat to make it a fair fight.

I used the card for over 100 ranks, I was simply trying to add my opinion, I spend most my time in free roam and am well acquainted with the pvp that happens there even if it's only a small percentage of your play time in that mode. 

 

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a benefit when it takes that first headshot, I just didn't personally find it all that necessary to have on me as I use slow and steady a lot and not all players are that great at getting headshots to begin with. Plus I dislike the idea of being handicapped after I no longer have my hat on. I still like the card but don't use it as often any more. As far as other players using it, I don't see as many players with it equipped lately but this is only based off the small sample size of players I randomly look at cards of due to whatever arbitrary reasons (rank, hostility etc.)

didn't use it since I was level around level 100 or so because of the same reason. Now I'm 210 and don't miss it a second. I still grind through loads of posses that are using NWO without a problem. Especially since they nerfed it for close range. (Face shot obviously doesn't get fended off by the hat)

this is simply not true. you gotta change your strategies then. If you don't want to/can't wear NWO you either gotta be the first to shoot and stay in motion, so that your opponent won't hit you before your second shot, use the environment as hideout and cover so that your opponent can't use auto-aim that easy, use express-ammo on Springfield (2body shots), use bow and paint it black, use dual revolvers or mausers, approach quickly out of your hideout riding your horse and use a shotgun at mid- to close-range, back off until you're out of lock-on range and snipe em with the rolling block, etc etc etc

 

 

NWO is overrated as f*ck and I didn't use it in the last 110 levels, although I'm a PVP-affine player.

This card was "tweaked/fixed/adjusted" whatever the frak you wanna call it, it's nowhere near as good as it used to be in beta. Trust me as someone who rolled with it all the time & still does, this doesn't block "the first headshot" it doesn't actually block them at all anymore, it blocks the first HAT shot. Yeah you got that right, if you're shot anywhere below the hat it still counts as an instant kill, so Idk what you're going on about. It's nowhere NEAR as good as actually blocking the first headshot. I'd say it works mostly when people are panicky, & even then, you're lucky if you get the chance to survive. it's not the "meta" anymore, hasn't been for a while. You don't NEED it, but sometimes it helps.

It‘s actually the opposite from being meta. It‘s actually pretty sh*t. You‘ll lose your hat in almost every battle within few seconds. With NWO you will experience increased damage after that. Who would want that?
