Your Horse has its own AI, stop fighting it. If you let go of the stick and hold A (X on PS4) your Horse will navigate obstacles itself. Slow down and do this and it will navigate between trees quite well. Spurring the sh*t out of it while pulling on the reins, like in real life, does nothing.

 

If you are forcing the Horse to go down the left-hand side of a tree but the Horses AI wants to go down the right-hand side you will end up in the middle and smack into the tree.

This AI though has been tweaked and it is worse than the old days.

There's no reason I can see why when aiming for the biggest gap in a cluster of trees, that my horse should suddenly decide that the smaller gap is the better one and crash as a result.

Or why as in my earlier post the horse should steer itself, mid-air, back into a bank that we've just jumped off.

I do understand that a horse is a living thing with a mind of it's own, but a horse that f**ks it's rider around that much would soon be glue.

What's the point in getting max bonding if I can't trust it, and it certainly doesn't trust my input.

I can't answer your post without sounding condescending, not my intention but that's how I would have to type to answer you.

 

The AI is wack, the physics are wack. Nothing we can do about it, just learn the system and how it works and you will have less issues. I trust my Horse to lead me through heavily wooded areas.

Man. I am trying so hard to get back into this game. It just wont happen.

 

I finally Posse'd up with some of my old buddies. Thought maybe thats what was missing.

 

We did a bounty - 6 of us! Whoa! We made quick work, got all bounties back alive and...sat there for 15 minutes so that we would get a larger payout.

 

I get it. But I can't stand it. Its counter intuitive, and also just flat out boring. When I was grinding bigtime back in the days I had my own Posse and I had rules - if you shoot the leader by accident in a gang hideout for example, you aren't allowed to loot the hideout. One of my other rules was was no timer sitting. Now I wasn't against a leisurely trot back to end the mission, but as soon as we got there, we wrapped it up.

 

Call me crazy, but I'd rather spend that 10 minutes playing the game. This isn't my only issue, but its just symptomatic of how poorly designed this game is.

 

I think Im just gonna try to get into GTA online and come check back in in another 6 months. At least I'll be able to play in Free Aim lobbies.

True dat ^.

Taking longer to complete missions rewards you better is so wrong.

A quickly completed mission should have the higher payout.

Yep, I know the system sucks but the less you scream at it and demand it should be this way or that way the better time you have.

 

Like I said, I am pretty sure they made all the Online Horses stupid. The ones in SP were geniuses. They were loyal and clever like what you want in Online.

This is incredibly petty, but why is nickel the only clean finish? Just look at the high-roller revolver and tell me you don't want a silver as majestic as that.

Eagle Eye+ breaking on death is beginning to grind my f*cking gears, especially when my deaths today have all been by zigzagging f*cking Sonic the hedgehogs who I literally can't hit because the sensitivity is either too slow or too fast because of the horrible camera acceleration.

 

PC can't come quick enough I tell ya.

For me yea. It'll work when I load into the session and then I'll die and it'll stop working sometimes, session swaps fix it every time. Maybe dying again will fix it but I haven't tried that.

They were red and were the aggressor so I assume not but I dunno. Wasn't the first time I've dealt with an red icon player who I can't target with PiB.

There have been multiple (I think) methods of cheesing the Defensive Mode system so you can attack but not be targetted.

 

My B&M is that the Role tokens are useless. I think I have over fifty that I will never spend, why not let us use Role tokens to buy stuff for Camp? Obviously at an inflated price like ten or fifteen tokens per item. Unless Role Tokens are going to cross over into the other Roles and we are not gonna get red and green tokens for the next three and the tree after that.

 

If thats the case then I want to be able to buy stuff immediately for an increased number of tokens. Reward the players that have slogged out Tokens. Also we should be able to unlock stuff from other Roles without paying the Gold buy in for an increased Token cost. Like unlocking the ability to purchase the Weapons Locker for fifteen tokens instead of two.

Other online players. Every time i meet someone, i am minding my own business. They always have to be super cool, tough, and kill me. Not a big problem in RDO, but annoying.

Need three melee kills for daily. Managed to get them. Then get an error straight after. Load back in to see 0 of 3. Fix your game.

i'd actually say i've had good experiences with other online players recently, one instance where we commandeered a train going through new austin and took turns driving it, stopping now and then to raid houses

Just a crazy thought, what if there werent any dead eye and abilitie cards, we actualy would have a normal western themed game

This game can´t count! Some level of mathematics specially addition! Had trample one earlier and just needed four more. Steps on four fishes and it count as one.... So now I have 2 of five instead of 5 of 5! Hope we get a good patch this tuesday!

At least some are counting for you, Ive had loads of dailies not ticked after doing them

I think it's just the lighting outside vs inside, if I go into the gunsmith the finish on the high roller revolver looks absolutely no different than the silver finish I can apply on other guns. They all look crappy and tarnished in areas due to the inside lighting. I bet the high roller revolver has the exact same silver finish that is available to put on other guns, now granted I haven't spent gold to test this but unless you have proof of it not being the case it's what I'll assume to be true.

Trampling animals for Daily Objectives

 

Then cursing at my screen in disbelief as 1) most of the ground critters in the land seem to spontaneously take a 24 hour vacation and 2) the ones that don't are suddenly roided-up musclebunnies physically repelled by some unknown force emitted by my horse's hooves that protect their previously fragile, brittle bodies from being stepped on even when my useless nag is whirling in circles and stomping the dirt all around them like a thing possessed

 

 

I wouldn't mind so much if the road to Valentine wasn't usually a carpet of flattened squirrels and pancaked jackrabbits any other goddamn day

Seriously, I saw a snake and thought "easy enough trample" (my thoroughbred wasn't too bothered by it) and after 2-3 minutes of spinning donuts on the damn thing I finally said f*ck it and just pulled out the shotty, and funny enough blasted it into oblivion, there was nothing there to skin.

Fifty four tokens left, & I've unlocked pretty much everything I think I want, (still on the fence about an item or two), but I hear this loud & clear. Would have been kinda nice to have to option to use the tokens to purchase some role items instead of just straight unlocks + cash/gold. Granted it did give us QUITE a bit to drop bars on.

Role tokens are nothing more that filler "rewards" right now. I guess the idea behind them was to make it so you can't buy all the items in the kits you get every 5 levels straight away, but because most people I suspect aren't buying everything (I have 70+ role tokens left my self) we end up with a ton of spares very quickly and then they become pretty useless.

That's what annoys me as well. Sixty percent of the rewards are Role Tokens so I basically have to grind out the levels and I get rewarded with the pleasure of having to pay for stuff? Oh f*cking joy...

 

As I said, we should have been able to unlock stuff immediately at an increased Token price. In an ideal world I would be able to trade Tokens to Madam Nazar for Cash and Gold. A hundred dollars per Token and one Gold per Token.
