I'm not sure what you're talking about, I've never been stuck in the camp placement menu. I can back out immediately every time regardless of if it puts my camp or is stuck attempting to put one down.

 

The only menus I've gotten stuck in like that are the campfire a few times and the stables, both of which are safe locations.

I know it will have been spoken about to death but the Dog would have been useful in all three of the Roles we have. Trader for tracking big game and retrieving small game, Bounty Hunters as an attack dog and Collectors sniffing out buried treasure or leading you to the general area of items. Its a missed opportunity.

Also...WHY THE f*ck?! do I get attacked, decide to Parlay and I am the one that gets punished and moved away from the area? f*ck off. Some dick stain decides to attack me out of nowhere while I am shopping and minding my own business, I use the games intended feature to stop griefing and yet I am the one thats spawned half a mile away across the river when I did nothing wrong.

It should be the opposite way, if someone is being a dick THEY should be the ones moved on.

Hogtie the bounty with your lasso and while they are lying on the ground just throw your bolas at their feet and it should trigger. Worked for me.

Haha that's fair, it's true that the bugs aren't hitting everyone equally. I can imagine the frustration of getting killed by another player like that, reminds me of the old looting bug I'd get often clearing hideouts. At least with that it was just ai.

It sucks getting spawned all the way up a mountain that you've got to take a long ass time to get back where you were. I never parlay anymore, I just trigger Defensive and fight back plus press charges after they kill me. That way I've got boosted armor while they're getting raped by dynamite arrows. See whose laughing now!

 

They need to fix how parlay spawns. You're literally 'ghosting' for that player/posse, why do you need to get spawned away? That should be an entire option of it's own! If one parlays, they want to be in THAT spot doing whatever they may be doing, not miles away

Getting put in jail in this game is way harder than it needs to be.

 

I just wanna hand myself in after a drunken brawl with some no-good egg-sucker who called me yella, Sheriff - just lemme sober up overnight in the cells and think about my life choices for a bit

 

 

Instead I get a shotgun to the face... hmm seems fair

I don’t know, but maybe it’s because the griefer would know where you are? If the guy getting grief is spawned away, they won’t know where you are.

I think there's a complete lack of foresight and no consideration for how new additions will affect and interact with what is already in game.

 

Someone comes up with a new idea for a card and the perk is only considered as it's own stand alone ability, no consideration goes into how it will affect and stack with other cards. 

 

It seems to me that testing isn't thorough enough either, the build being used in the video @Tomtomsengermany posted either wasn't considered or tested or it simply slipped through the net.

For about forty-eight hours or so, until some "no-life" figures out the fatal flaw in whatever exploit there is. Then it becomes the meta. But "The more you know. . .", right? Or basically, "Know thy enemy".

If the person is killing people in such a way that it triggers an anti-griefing system its obvious that they are the person that needs to be move away. Why should the innocent person be inconvenienced while the bellend can carry on their merry way unaffected?

If you're talking about the old "turns horse head in my direction as I try to gallop past the opposite way" I take it as the RDR version of the GTA car turning in front of me when I'm going top speed. Similar to the pedestrian just deciding to walk across the street in front of me and carriage that just happens to want to make the same turn I do just when I get there. R* loves to instigate conflict.

Mostly why, wherever possible, I keep off the road. I do love blasting NPCs who give me sh*t though, I positively pray they do haha.

Think about it :  some dick shoots at you and misses, you kill them.  Now they parley and you get teleported.  It would just be a new way to grief.

Why do I keep getting disconnected today??? I got disconnected during a bounty, when I had my horse packed with animals, and finally right when I found a collector item. 😠

defensive mode is still a little buggy.

last night i went to tumbleweed to sell some skins and i was in defensive mode and i saw a red dot player on the map so i took my chances and tried to go to the butcher.

and i got sniped.🤬

Just started a resupply with both my ps4s, got one with bags, figured it would be an easy 1000 xp, but shortly after I started it some other players were apparently nearby and shooting the enemies, because my yellow gps disappeared and the game told me to pickup the supplies, but apparently this also caused an enemy to escape with 1 bag almost instantly.

When I got over there all the enemies were already dead and only body was still there, for some reason.

2 players not in defensive mode were there, neither of them shot at me.

So even if randoms have no intention of messing with you, they can still screw sh*t up for you.

I guess in this case I should blame the game for this bullsh*t.

 

How many more reasons do I find to want solo sessions?

As a trader, not being able to place a camp is more than just annoying - it prevents me from engaging with the game's content. 

 

When easy camp-related Daily Challenges are impossible to achieve because I spend my time jumping from session to session and watching the text flicker uselessly in each one I start to think about playing anything else in my game library.
