Had it happen to me today. I paid Madam Nazar a visit, random rides up, sells to/buys from her while I'm giving my guns a clean, they wave at me, I tip my hat, they proceed to follow me all the way to Van Horn.

 

I started a bounty just to get a solo lobby and be rid of my unwanted lap dog.

 

I'm cool with players from here coming to say hi or asking for/offering help, but not randoms, ugh.

Day off work, this game can suck a throbbing dick. Two hours of not be able to sent up my Camp. TWO f*ckING HOURS! I could have sold my Cargo and been well on my way to selling another. That's eight hundred dollars I have been cheated out of today.

 

Okay, I will do some Bounties, first one freezes up, black screens me and then never loads the Bounty, New session, new Bounty at the wooden Fort. Bounty runs inside the building, I tackle her and she falls down into the cellar and dies which I cant get her out of. Time runs out.

Okay second Bounty, in a cave...at night. I turn a corner with my shotgun in PITCH BLACK DARKNESS and the aim-bot AI decides it can see in total darkness and massacres me. Okay, try again. Bounty decides he wants to do and shoots a lantern and sets only himself on fire.

Its true, if you so much as look at someone they assume you want to Posse up and be best friends. Its the same with GTAO, if you so much as stop near someone you get blasted with messages and friend requests.

Much fewer disconnects this week compared to last week... that was the case until I got disconnected three times in the last 30 minutes. With the camp issues and now this, I think my patience is fully exhausted for this week.

The rare times I meet someone in a GTAO session it inevitably ends in explosions. At least that's something I can count on, unlike my MTU settings, apparently.

So I start to lead my horse to grab a bounty poster at which point this fine animal kicks her right in the gut.

 

Listen, I'm a Dutch city boy. If it's not for somekind of lunch, we basically don't have horses and even I know you don't f*ck around at the back end of a horse.

Look both ways before crossing the street.

Don't stand around the end of a horse.

The animal spawns seems to be better now, I was surrounded by animals even when there were 23 players in the lobby.

 

Anyway, my new Breton seems to be made of napalm-soaked tissuepaper. 1 shot from an NPC with a Carbine Repeater(At level 3 bonding 9/10 health) and it went down... Talk about false advertisement on the horses health.

Probably just a glitch, but still... Died right as I got to a Gang Hideout... Stupid Horse, I know you are named after Hosea, but come on, you can take more than 1 bullet.

The game was being generous to me in the day, but horrible to me tonight.

 

I was lucky to have a perfect bighorn sheep and a couple of pelicans spawn, but it's pointless when you don't have a camp to return to. This has prompted me to travel from Great Plains to Tumbleweed and exploit Sheriff Freeman for a free solo session, and had a camp placed just a bit south of the town, thankfully. It didn't take long for my session to get merged with another one, but it was at least functional. Since I saw Cripps was nearing the amount sufficient for a delivery, and the production bar was still healthy thanks to the fruitful afternoon I had, I decided to be frugal with what I currently have for the next patch, so I kept topping production off with whatever spawned, which was usually iguanas and some condors.

 

Then, I was put into a solo session yet again, and I made a delivery to Armadillo and used the plentiful time-limit to hunt as much pelt as I can and be efficient. However, once I was done with the delivery, I got merged instantly and my camp has disappeared. I was getting real frustrated at this point, so I decided to go to Rhodes and ask Foreman for a job. He gave me one, eventually, and I finally gotten into a yet another solo session. I had done it as quick as I can, only to find that the camp was all the way down by the river south of Bolger Glade, and I was by Clemens Point. I rushed to the fast-travel post in Rhodes before the session merged me again, but alas, it was too late, and my camp got f*cking packed yet AGAIN.

 

You'd think that'd be the end of my train of frustration? Well, I tried to use Alden to retrieve a stolen wagon, got into a solo session again, and then had my game crash. What the HELL, Rockstar? Why do you disregard the stability of this game? God...

Stupid delivery wagon slips off the side of a narrow ( but not THAT high) ledge costs me one of four bags of goods and HALF the money for the delivery.  Who the f*** does the math for this s***?

the rdo troll cripps moved my camp again today while i was doing a bounty hunt, i tried about 10 times to get him to place my camp (but he wouldn't).

so i gave up.

So many people saying how they got to rank 70 of the outlaw pass in just a few afternoons - meanwhile, I'll play for several hours at a time, do a bit of collecting, hunting/selling, a hideout or two, some stranger missions, a full contact mission even, and ...I'll get through a couple of ranks, tops.

 

If it's down to some mix of posses/trader/PvP, I might as well walk away now - I play solo, and I'm not touching either the trader stuff or PvP with a ten foot pole. I've heard the bounty hunter stuff is good for ranking up, but I've only got 36 gold, and I suspect that I won't be able to make back the 15 needed to get the pass before it expires.

Was this always this bad or the urgency made me realize how slow they are?

I don't know about the horses because I'm never in a real hurry, but when I take a bounty I go after them without the lasso. Instead I tackle them and pummel them with the butt of my rifle. Then I hogtie 'em for good measure, but none have woken up yet and they still count as alive.

 

Edit: I didn't think of this, by the way. Someone else around here came up with that strategy. Don't remember who.

lol i think i said this before, but the pvp is nonsense right now, if you think PIB + shotgun is bad, wait to see PIB + explosive ammo + explosive bow , i played a takeover vs a posse and well it was like the explosive paint posse, all members with PIB 3 + explosive arrows and explosive ammo, no chance to survive if you don't use the same tactic, even the SB users aren't that bad than this , i know nerfing PIB is a little "difficult" because it need to re balance other cards.... but why explosive ammo is allowed in pvp?

 

I don't understand why a game that is supposed to make you feel like a cowboy/girl give the option to use explosive ammo in every weapon, i mean i know 1899 was a wild era, but im sure the explosions was fault for the dynamite, not for revolvers and stuff, things like this make the game feel like fortnite, also i saw a similar situation with a random in free session, he was selling stuff, a guy with an explosive revolver came and boom all goods gone, never sell something close to Tumbleweed

 

how funny, GTO need a way to stop the broomstick terror, and explosive ammo are hard to get if you are new

in RDO the explosive ammo is like a gift for everyone lol maybe we ended up needing a horse mk2 to counter

I reckon explosive ammo and ability cards could very well be the death of this game or at the very least reduce the longevity. If everybody has maxed cards and explosive rounds then new players will not hang around long.

Seems the update made it impossible for a solo player to bag two bounties at once. I did it the first time by bringing one in and then going back and bringing in the other before time was up. Now, you bring in the one and the bounty ends. Cuts out a few of the cooler bounty missions, which kinda sucks.

I know its preaching to the choir on here but not be able to set up the Camp really kills the entire game for me. I hunt to feed the Camp, I Bounty Hunt to pass the time, the sh*t payouts for BH'ing are fine because I know my Camp is producing in the background.

I've completed them by stealing an NPC's horse when I've neared the hideout and taking out the gang from horseback. He'll stick around when it's over so you stow one on him and the other on your personal horse. It can be tricky tho, the NPC horse is pretty much spent by the time you get to the sheriff's office. I had to carry one the rest of the way from just outside of Valentine.

I did 2 solo double target BH missions yesterday and none of them ended when I delivered the 1st target. I killed the other guy on the 1st mission so no escape was possible, for the 2nd mission I left the remnant guy tied up. He broke free but I was already close to get him again.

 This may be the very case. & I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this. Granted, every time I even LOOK at this or GTA V, I am amazed at what they have created.
