There is no person, because it's not true. Plants don't move, they'll always be in the same exact spot. As far as animals, just don't look for them, then you'll see them lol.

Not had too much trouble with plants/herbs, but animals are so messed up. To learn folk are starting bounty hunts to get things more reliable is just weird.

Usually I will do the first bounty on the board and the third because, for me, that second one sends you on that "clue hunt" where the bounty eventually shows up very near to where you actually started--and I hate those and think they're sort of stupid. So whenever I pull one of those, I typically use it to go hunting. Then I try to wind up close to a bounty board when it finishes and start another bounty.

Yeah that's a cool new feature from the horse. This is actually a separate bug where the controller pulses constantly without anything triggering it, not herbs, treasure, etc. There's a thread on reddit about it, I think it's an Xbox issue. But back to the b*tch & moan:  GD it R*!  You are so close to having a great game here but these nerfs/bugs are just killing the fun. In order to resupply I need to spawn a camp, right? In order to make stuff, there have to be animals to hunt, yes? Right!? WTF.

I probably came off wrong there, lol. Multitasking and doing some hunting along the way makes sense. I just meant I've read some suggest starting one of these to hunt, much like how some would hunt during the story missions with Mrs. LeClerk and really long it out so as to enjoy hunting without any inconsistencies from populated sessions. 

 

It's a shame we have to think of ways to get the game to perform as it should, IMHO. My bad there.

The f*ck is with glasses in this game?

 

I'm sorry but as a glasses wearer it annoys me that any form of eyewear is locked behind grindwalls. The Steel Spectacles only come in one colour and are perched at a weird angle, i'm sorry but unless you want to give yourself a violent headache no-one wears their glasses like that for day to day activities and the Brass ones are locked behind level 20 in Trader? But these conveniently come in multiple colours and are perched correctly.

FFS, did the Condor Egg event, got disconnected right after it ended. I hope this god awefull game registered it.

 

Re-entered the game and I get dropped right next the Sea of Coronado. Relogged to a session in New Hanover and get dropped at Brandy Wine Drop...... Was there really no place in between, Rockstar??? And where's my camp now??

This Condor egg event, kinda ridiculous how poorly done this was, imo big waste of time. It's just a pure luck thing anyway. Certainly isn't worth dropping everything you were doing to hop into the event for 30 secs of roaming around till one bloke gets lucky enough. If you enjoy loading screens tho this is the one.

I did it for the poncho I'll never wear...., but indeed, it's not worth the risk of seeing your camp go up in fumes again and relog 10x to get it back.

Exactly my thought. I had a camp pitched and then went into the event because the crippss was lazying around anyway. Now no camp, won't pitch. An ever repeating annoyance really.

I'm standing in an area where I've had 2 camps previously. Both spots are empty and mine can't be pitched. This game has a horrible way of dealing with camps.

Before the Roles update the Camp worked perfectly. Now we actually need it it does not.

Pretty sure it rolls through a list and pitches your tent on the first available one but for some reason its getting stuck and rolling over the same few that are already taken.

Log in,  wait 20 minutes for my camp to be pitched,  ride to camp and see I need a supply run.  Start mission get put in private lobby. Deliver supplies notice animals everywhere because of the solo lobby,  go hunting,  kill a few 3 stars on my way back to camp,  lobby then merged and repopulates get message crisps has packed up camp.  Sit for another 20 minutes trying to pitch a new camp with my 3 star white tail buck, get a invite to trader route, accept,  bye bye buck,  get in the event and see a screen saying job over you gained 0 goods,  back to freeroam. No buck no camp. Try pitching a camp....

This is why you stay in your camp after doing a supply or sell run, until the lobby slowly populates. You either priorities having a camp, or a few animals to hunt. You can never get that many and they aren't much use without the camp, so I wait IN the camp while the lobby grows back to about 10-15 players.I saw 

 

Edit: just did a supply mission. Wildlife every f*cking where, even in my camp. I saw 3 Pronghorns there, shot them all before delivering my supplies. After delivering them, the carcasses were gone. Not even a puddle of blood on the ground. I'm in a lobby of 3 players now, with camp, but no wildlife. This game really has a terrible sharding infrastructure.

Thanks for the advice on the supply runs,  sucks that I have to sit in my camp hostage for however long it takes for the lobby to repopulate in order to stop it from disappearing. Good times. On the sales part, kinda hard to stay in your camp after a sale that takes you across the map.  Just fix the game R* please.

You can venture a short (okay, very short) distance from your camp, before being merged with more players and possibly lose your camp again. Depending on your production progress, you can either take the risk to lose the camp and restock with the hunting wagon, or wait out a good sale. I'm doing the latter now.....

Just played the free roam event where you run around Strawberry like idiots and capture bounties. Can't even remember the name. Possibly the worst event yet, what a ridiculous sh*tshow.

I don't know why this billion-dollar company can't get more hats and spectacles and sh*t in this game. I mean there were so many kinds of glasses back then...rectangular, round, different sizes...and hats, damn why are we so limited? SP has many more but if we look back at old pics of people back then there are so many hat and clothing styles we don't find here.

Drip feed and for future updates. R* knows the best they can do is clothing. A horse with a different paintjob is the second best.

 

It was ages before we got normal glasses in GTAO instead of f*ck boi sunglasses.
