I frequently get the dialogue for delivering a Bounty dead and yet it says I delivered them alive and get paid for alive.

Was just hunting for a perfect Whitetail Deer and I spot one, so I start stalking it with my bow for that perfect kill only for some f*ck boi to ride out of nowhere and Lasso it. Nah fam, I shot it in the leg with my Sniper Rifle and then in the chest, stomach and then head.

Not as dickish as stealing a deer carcass from a personal horse like I did today. I saw no blip around so I thought "f*ck it" and took it to the butcher. It was a perfect one so nice unexpected $7.00. Maybe the guy got disconnected and I didn't even "steal" anything since the owner had that carcass gone forever anyway, who knows. 

 

That's why you go to the butcher in the first place when arriving at a town with the horse loaded.....

Can you mix and match other clothing with the trader, collector and bounty hunter outfits?

The Grizzlies outfit allowed us to do so.

The Cordell outfit doesn't, except changing the hat another way.

the other day in (i think) tumbleweed, i tried to steal a random's perfect 3 star proghorn, he shot gunned me as i tried to put it on my horse.

i didn't complain, i deserved it.

now back to the b & m.

Same thing happened to me the other day during a bounty. I got back on my horse and it refused to move. Every other horse function was working as normal, but when i tried to move it just got stuck in a recurring animation or something. I had to dismiss it for my other horse to get going again and barely made the delivery in time. I've never had that happen before. Something is up with the horses since the update and I think it's got to do with them messing with the animations but who knows really.

I just need to vent...

 

So I was riding down in the Great Plains just looking for collectables when I hear gunfire in the distance and I see that a 2 man posse is defending a campsire.

I think "Sweet, I can get a few long range kills with my new Rolling Block" so I shoot 3 of them and every thing is great.

I pull out my metal detector and it starts ticking, I find the collectable pretty fast, mount up and I see an NPC sprinting towards me, pulls me off my horse and starts beating the sh*t out of me.

I pull out my knife and I start stabbing him and I get punished for griefing, hostility increase and thrown out of defensive mode... The actual f*ck is that about? I was defending myself! Then one of the posse members starts shooting at me, so I kill the NPC, pull my RB rifle back out and shoot the player right in the head, then his buddy takes aim at me so I put a bullet in him too.

I leave and ride back to Blackwater and I enter defensive mode again, grab some ammo from the mail, and I see the 2 players I shot a few minutes ago camping the doors.

 

I leave and they shoot me with explosive ammo... GAME ON!

I pull out my own explosive rounds and I start blasting them down, again and again. I die once to a dynamite arrow because I zigged when I should have zagged, but I come back and continue killing them. They run away and get some backup(Now it's 3 on 1) who throws dynamite at me when I am distracted and kills me.

Game is back on!

I start blasting them again and eventually they run away again. Then one comes back, throws dynamite at me that only knocks me over, but makes him hostile, so I pull out my trusty Cattleman with explosive rounds and I kill him and his horse.

 

He parlays and runs away. The backup comes back but I shoot him down before he can do anythng.

Finally, they leave me alone.

17 minutes of none-stop fighting. I used so many explosive rounds, I am going to be spending a lot of time killing pigs for Animal Fat to make more.

 

Still a little annoyed that I got hit with griefing and hostility increase for defending myself.

Also, I could not find a single damn animal for a good 40 minutes. Pretty damn hard to do trader stuff without animals!

Changing sessions would have been the right call, but I was at 2/3 Found family heirlooms and 2/3 of... Whatever the other one was, and if you change session then you lose your progress, so I thought I'd rather fight it. And I didn't expect them to keep it going for that long, I figured they'd give up after being killed a few times, but nooooo, they just had to drag it out -.-

A posse of 3-4 getting in the train quickly becomes unstoppable. Too many f*cktards killing each other instead of cooperating against the guys in the train.....

One of the greatest experience I ever had in a multiplayer games. Guy wouldn't die from point blank shotgun. Great!

Any advice on how to pitch a camp?  Had a camp when I logged on, did a trader mission, trader route, not sure what kind of mission they are called because they dont count as free roam events.  After it ended no camp and cannot get it to spawn anywhere.

Can you not put me in a lobby that has Great Plains filled up when I have a f*cking camp already placed in Great Plains?! -_-

 

Fallout 76 is a sh*t game, but at least it prevents that from happening

I'm running into the same issue.  I also didn't earn any goods for finishing the trade route. Waste of 20 minutes. No animals spawning, camp keeps relocating during a session.  This game is a f*cking mess. It's like it's still in beta.

I do hope, considering we get missions every other update.... that we get more than 5 this time.

 

Add 10-20! Let's make some progress on the story, and add some more side missions with choices!

I want more missions to grind, the ones recently added..... only the bank job and Blackwater shoot out are fun to replay. The others suck

Start a bounty. Soon as you done immediately bring up player menu and try pitching one in a vicinity not too close to your spawn.
