Been ingame for over 18 hours now, still haven't seen the new freemode event.

Calling BS on it's existence.

That's about all I remember as well; perhaps two at the most throughout the entire time I've been playing, but nothing since the update. This is the first time that I recall not receiving one for levelling up. I was in a story mission when it happened; the first time we played "The Hanging of Tom Davies" it glitched out and the wagon wouldn't go anywhere after the wave of enemies before the end. We all ended up having to exit the session, but we got a lot of looting accomplished; no map(s) for anyone though and no map after I reached level 80 during the mission we played after I had reloaded the game. Our posse leader got kicked at the beginning of this mission though; I think missions are just broken tonight and I dunno, that could explain why I didn't get the map as I didn't even receive the usual pop-up notification when it happened.

Exactly same here, I don’t spend got all I need, not had a treasure map for well over 2 month now. Except levelling up and I loot all and play at least 6 real hours per day 5 days a week

Be careful and rotate your horse daily if you leave this one in stable for an extended period it will go sick again.

 

This cure also doesn’t work for everyone as I’ve stated it don’t work on mine I even placed 6 pieces dynamite underneath it and it didn’t even die lol 

 

Any other of my good horse drop down a 10ft gully and they die lol

Yes R* are sh*te with this horse core business, As ive stated ive had all 4 back in Feb suffer with red cores and 26th Feb update cured them. But i guy i used to play with still had a 5th horse suffer this.

 

Ive sent in several tickets with promises from R* ( It will be fixed shortly ) (We are working flat out to resolve this ) etc since way back then.

 

Before the last update I bought a 5th horse and all ok although the guy i played with still had issues with the 5th horse.

 

Now since this May His 5th has been fixed and my 5th gotten poorly Last week 

 

What we did find out was that if you rotated your horses regularly they stayed all good but as soon as you left one ( that had suffered in the past ) in the stables for more than 4/5 days the bug came back. We assumed the fix of May update cured this but it seems it hasnt as my 5th horse (that never suffered prior to May update now has it after spending 4/5 days in stables.

 

R* really dont give a flying sh*t as this has affected many players who have bought the Black Arabian with gold purchased from the store and R* still wont fix or refund said gold.

 

Its really the bottom of the barrel for Piss Poor service and makes R* the laughing stock of the gaming world.

Being very happy with that I left Ogami in the stables for about 3-4 days only, then this bug thing began. I owned five horses, but finally discarded the starter horse yesterday. Maybe that did something?

 I was royally peeved because this happened to the 42 gold bar ELITE horse I've had for months. & I'd just bought the new super cheese saddle for him, spent gold on that, too. Now that it works I can say this, not only does the red & black saddle really pop on him, the +3 speed & acceleration + elite handling & that super reduced stamina drain is like turning a  high end sports car into a race car.

One of the new saddles, can't remember the name but it's the most expensive one out of the two new ones and has a snake on it will give +3 speed boost when paired with one of the top 3 stirrups.

I know it's the new saddle, but like I mentioned, there's only 2 bars to max out. So my horse right now has 9 bars, you're saying that'll go to 10 bars? Anyone have a pic?

Yea I dunno exactly but it's what I'm hearing. I think it's ugly as f*ck my self so I just went with the boar saddle for true infinite stamina.

Which Horse is it from memory a Turk will go 9 and 8 Black Arabian 9 and 9 Trotter 10 and 8 expensive Nokata 10 and 8 but do bare in mind they all still have same top speed so its all bolloxs apart from the stamina drain that real and worth it

@Mad-Monkey_1st Can you explain to me the part about all horses having the same speed? I thought that was only true for races.

Seeing comments, I understand that there is no point even throwing my sight towards RDR2/RDO.

The game came out unfinished, boring, slow, low effort, bad game design decisions, and Online is even worse. With all these transactions and sales, R* do not bother to send their team of highly trained monkeys just to fix the core of the game.

It is insulting to me when someone somewhere says like RDR2/RDO is actually a good game. I forced myself to complete it, and would never repeat it, even since I love previous 2 games pretty much.

Online is so terrible, R* worrying only about clothes, like do "we" actually asked for more clothes? Or game modes? So far as I remember, people were complaining about hunting issues, empty bored world, unskipable slow as hell animations, lack of mini games and standard 2 team death matches..

No, they decided to invest into "story" missions that actually the same sh*t like strangers missions where you do nothing but go there, kill - steal - deliver (hello gta online bullsh*t). Most of the gameplay time (even in RDR2) you do nothing, but tapping X to ride your horse because most of the time you do nothing but riding a horse and tapping X.

The game is an insult to gaming industry.

Its the same for online with all the top horses they all have same top speed irrespective of stats even with this newer saddle, We have run them in strait lines across the plains amongst other areas and no one could pull away from each other once all at tops speed.

 

Horses tested are Turk all 3 variants Both Arabians both Trotters Thoroughbred and the expensive Nokata 

 

The only iscerning difference we could find was the Arabian pre update had a slightly quicker acc and held speed better in tight twisty paths All 1st test where done with Rattlesnake saddle and recent top speed tests with this new saddle and stirrups.

 

Nokata has speed specs of 10 with this new sadlle as doe the thoroughbred and Trotters but they cannot pull away from Arabians or the Turk given they are all on same saddle

I've gotten the same result as @Mad-Monkey_1st.

We tested UE and Brindle thoroughbred, Morgan, MFT, Turk, red and black arabian, Dutch Warmblood and shire. All the same speed.

Acceleration is too hard to test because the tap rythm seems to have an impact on how well you accelerate.

Am I the only one whose character punches his horse half the time when I hit triangle to mount? I've even done it slowly to make sure I wasn't hitting the wrong button. Brand new controller I hope it's not messing up.

There are some good parts and story is a masterpiece. But I agree on most of your points.
