Can certainly tell when stranger missions are knackered, just go to Blackwater and watch the bored out of their tiny minds numptys shooting up the town (and inevitably me) to hell and back.

I had one of those yesterday; not only were things not working properly, but the lag was so bad that everything was literally bouncing around on my screen. Everything was so slow as well and it took three times as long just to bring up the menu to switch sessions. It wasn't my internet either; I had a look at that first. As soon as I switched lobbies, everything was back to normal and remained normal for the rest of my session.

I'd like some of that as well; although the issues have been far less for me since the update, there have been times when I also cannot get any of the stranger missions to load. For me, the icon is usually yellow, but the option to accept the mission is greyed out and unavailable. It seems to be more of an issue when I'm in a posse; I rarely have these issues when I'm playing solo, but yea, there are still some bugs that need to be worked out on their end.

The majority of the time for me I can't even the ability to accept missions from The Boy, and when I do, they don't work probably 80% of the time. Especially when he's in Valentine

I've been getting disconnected all day, every 10 or 15 minutes, impossible to play. I'm done for today, was fine until yesterday. Hope is R* patching the glitch.

Yeah, done for the day. I'm getting disconnected every single time. Yesterday was fine. Plus. my free horse is bugged, I cannot change the saddle on that one. I hope is R* messing with the server and patching the glitch.

Quite amazing how developers with FAR less the money sources C* has, have better servers and connectivity 

 

I just wanna hunt and do stranger missions....

How the F#CK did this game ever come out of beta? Strangers missions not working, getting kicked out of showdown series large when I'm FINALLY able to join at all, story missions not loading, random disconnects overall. 

Glad I get awarded free extra gold bars every other day, buying cosmetics is certainly gonna keep me playing this trainwreck of a game. 

 

Whoop whoop the ending of the beta concluded 5 extra story missions (split up 3 and 2 depending on what honour level you're on at the moment), a handfull of new strangers offering the same kind of freeroam missions and some dull gta style adversary modes that are just rehashed gamemodes of what we already had.

 

To add insult to injury, the last "update" this week is pretty much ps4 exclusive.

I play on ps4 myself, but common, is this little amount of content we're getting something we should let fellow fans of the game playing on xbox1 wait for?

If I could stop getting daily challenges for getting kills in cover that would be great. Why would I ever use the clunky piece of sh*t cover system when I can strafe around cover instead?

Showdowns will not load. They get stuck on the black screen with the revolving cylinder in the corner - every - single - time. Regular or large. Almost one week it has been like this.

Seriously --- a showdown series will not load on my console. Period.

 

And the only solution to get out of the black screen is to restart the game.

Couldn't start a single stranger mission no matter the location, number of respawns, reloads or restarts and I was pretty pissed off about it, but then I think about it and... what am I missing? All the changes to free roam mean you basically need to bring the objective right to another player (if you can even find one) then roll over and play dead to even have a chance of getting any challenge or excitement from them...

Yep..... isn't this supposed to be the last of it? It was said to be four batches.... and they've done that now with this. The batch with the gun, the batch with the knife, those sh*t races, now this....

 

It isn't healthy to show favoritism when you're trying(And failing) to push Online once again. Players are actually leaving and unlike GTA Online 'dying', that's a fact. RDR is a fantastic franchise, but it has nowhere the number of fans GTA does. That's why GTA does so well(Not to mention kids love GTA, and not RDR. And kids = mommy and daddy's credit cards)

Don't know if this was the last batch or not tbh, you guys are luckily not missing out on much; that's the only great part.

Unfortunately this game is still very much broken. I travelled to this location to play this stranger mission; not only is the stranger absent and the mission doesn't load, but as you can see from the picture and compass map, my horse is completely invisible. I cannot get on the invisible horse but I can change weapons and even feed it. When feeding it a wild carrot, I do this animation:

 

 

When I walk away and whistle, it doesn't make the whistling sound and the horse does not come. Wtf is going on?

I got disconnected after 30 seconds each time I got online. I googled "ps4 dmz", and opened the recommended ports. I still got disconnected after 10 minutes. 

 

What finally solved the disconnections was placing the ps4 completely in the dmz of the router. I would not do that with a pc. With a console, the risk is quite low.

Here is what really grinds my gears ( outside of not being able to load into showdown series properly or at all, and the fact its still clearly an easy 1 shot headshot in showdown series when you can get in) . But why did i have to pay 200$ to make a "permanant" posse but yet everytime we go to play together i have to reinvite them? Its bad enough you can only have 7 people in it, but i have to keep reinviting them ? And no they are no leaving the posse manually. This is just annoying.

@-LN- I saw the same thing when trying to do the Saddie mission up north, joined up on a friend later and he got it to work just fine so like all stranger missions I'm guessing those are also sometimes broken, but just a bit worse on the "how broken" scale.

F*cked up aiming system.

 

In overrun some dude runs from the other side over to the spawn side of my team, on radar he apears as an eye (not a dot), no body can lock on or hit him and he rans back to his side again. Is this a new glitch?

Thanks, but I got the DMZ and static IP for years now, was all fine until Tuesday, even the last month of beta was working fine for me, nothing changed on my settings since I live alone and I'm the only one that change anything. I wanna believe that is due to the glitch and rockstar trying to patch it. Thanks anyway, I even tried IP bypass on the router, nothing, on other games the connections got better, but RDO for a AAA 2018 game has really sh*tty connections even worse than GTAO, IMO.

Not a glitch, it's the slippery bastard ability card. When they are in dead eye (the eye icon) they can't be locked on to

This mission was for Black Belle and it was my first time doing a mission or in this case, trying to do a mission for her. After I switched lobbies, I was able to finally trigger the mission and my horse was back to being visible, but yea, there are definitely more than a few broken elements that are hopefully addressed soon.

RDO is a sh*te game, R* is a sh*te developer, T2 is a sh*te publisher, and I've got sh*te between my ears for swallowing the steaming spoonfuls of sh*te they keep slapping in front of me
