Never had many issues with launch machine, got PS4 Pro and no issues either till this game

Now that I think about it most of my dc's were from Ark and Ark is a serious mess of a game so that might be why.

Man, they changed the leather duster so much, it was fit for hot weather and now i dont even need to create a combo with it to have a cold outfit.

Leather doesnt let you breath on hot days thats ok, but trust me its hardly useful in snow.

I don't know what the deal is with that outfit, my buddy has the same issue of the off hand holster being missing, but I can assure you it's a thing and I have access to it. I would try submitting a ticket to R*.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed, ironically the "winter" shotgun coat has switched places for me with the leather duster. Now the duster is part of my cold weather outfit and I use the winter shotgun coat as a flowy coat I can wear in hot weather with random stuff (as opposed to it being part of a saved outfit like it was before).

 I use the red Embossed Gunslinger. It's the closest match.

I can't swap saddles, not even select the ones that are not on horses. Was fine a few hours ago.

I wasn't equiped to play in the snow so I bought the purple bison coat. 8 gold bars. Didn't liked the color in the sunlight... so I bought the blue one. Much better. But there goes 8 more gold bars...

 

Went to Adler's ranch up North to show off my new swag to miss Saddie. Minus 12 outside. But for some reason my heart core kept flashing and draining... I was sweating in winter coat? Is this normal? I've put my regular outfit back, I should be freezing but I'm still sweating. Why is that?

They're officially broken. It may be the server issue that they just had. I just worked my way through both lemoyne AND new hanover and absolutely none of them work.

I’ve found if I swap lobbies til i find one where a stranger mission works then they all work.

Broken stranger missions here on XB1 too. I tried to start a paid killing for Black Belle, and it never even began. But it was counted as a success rather than a failure, according to her dialogue when I went back into her hideout.

I just met a drunken man in Van Horn; he couldn't even walk without falling down and said that he needed a lift to Butcher Creek, or "Butcher Freak" as he called it. So, I physically had to pick him up off the ground (which given my size, I'm not sure how I managed to do this) and put him the back of my horse for the ride up there.

 

So, anyway, I listen to his great idea about developing a portable camera (as if that idea will ever go anywhere) and when we finally get there, he hands me $3 and some change. Then, all of a sudden, the super friendly locals, who don't seem so keen on "outsiders" decide to all pull their guns on me at once as I'm getting back on to my horse. I manage to take cover, kill a few of them, and then I'm suddenly alerted that I'm wanted for murder, which summons the always compassionate and understanding men of the law to my location.

 

So, there I am, being swarmed from every angle by the good people of Butcher Creek and Lawmen, racking up a bounty as I try my best to defend myself and get out of there as quickly as possible. I'm killed (twice) and all of the locals that I've managed to kill have despawned and I'm left with nothing but a lack of ammo and a bounty.

 

Really now, Rockstar. I don't mind a little craziness, but how do you figure that it's fair to be reported for murder and have the law come after me when a multitude of angry red dots are all shooting at me and had started the conflict in the first place?

The new stranger missions for Sadie etc are exactly the same as all the others. Go and recover the cart, early release etc. The only different one I had was in Leymone from one of the old ones where you have to destroy the supplies.

Everything I want is locked at Rank 50+ (I'm 25).

 

Buying new guns is unnecessary as they all more or less suck. I can just modify my beginners guns and they are as good as the others.

 

Already bought a new horse.

 

Guess I'll have to keep spending my hard earned 48$ on gun oil since the guns are dirty every 3 minutes.

Wait, what? Which guns do you have? I do think some are definitely better than others and have different purposes based on what you're using them for. Plus, if you have more, you won't have to buy gun oil every three minutes.

The game should never have been in Beta to begin with. 

Basic issues like mission not starting should have been fixed before the beta tag was removed.

This game is still very much in beta stage, except no one fixes day#1 issues. They just took off the Beta from the title to please a crowd and justify microtransactions. Other than that, it is still very much beta.

I have never had one not work, ever....

Every stranger mission I have ever tried, just worked as expected.

I've found this too. Some sessions just seem "broken" for whatever reason. Same with wildlife, if it starts becoming scarce in the session you're in, jump a session and it'll be almost certain to improve.

 

It's certainly not an ideal fix, but it usually works anyway (fix your game, R*).

On the topic of Stranger Missions, the only ones that seem to not work 7 times out of 10 for me personally, are "Destroy Supplies", most of the time, thankfully most of the time I can just turn right back around and instant accept a "Paid Killing", unless it's "The Boy" (F*CK YOU R* FOR HAVING THE FORESIGHT TO PREVENT ME FROM SHOOTING THIS C*NT), who just pulled this sh*t on me and now refuses to give me another mission, as if he wasn't already a massive Sh*tD*ckhead to begin with....

It is funny, the Boy was one of the givers that never worked for me, today I got a mission from him and none of the others were offering any.
