Go to your regular knife in the weapon wheel and press < or >, it doesn't have it's own spot.

 

Annoyingly though, whenever you so much as skin an animal you will automatically revert back to your regular knife and will have to re equip the Jawbone Knife.

We had this tonight we were is a posse of 4 enjoying the game when 4 ,high levels 170+ all with explosive ammo started a fight now we held are own but sadly explosive ammo and high level players who most likely used a glitch to gain large amounts of money and high amounts of tonics were just unbeatable. I hate parlaying but we just got fed up of 1 hit kills to the chest while you took 3 shots to their head.

My explosive ammo is for special situations. Example: Posse / Player Assassinations either hunted or hunting another. There are others but I think you get it.

Won't use them in any posse wars.

What I do enjoy doing when our posse/s encounter these explosive ammo spammers is get them to use all their explosive ammo up. You can always tell when they're done because they run away when out of explosive ammo. They're sh*t without it. Now the chase and spawn kill is on. Now go hunt fat, jerk off.

Hopefully the new update will fix issues like this we just want to play free aim with out some sweaty players trying to troll us because they have nothing else to do because they glitched the game instead of naturally leveling up. Hopefully these guys will get bored and disappear to other games. Hopefully the defensive player option will be good.

I couldn't enjoy them. I did about 10-15 to get the win 3 trophy and it wasn't fun. I had to do a couple here and a couple there.

 

Weapons on isn't for me, though don't mind the kicking as much but would still prefer a mix of clean and dirty races without weapons at all in either (but keep these GTA style races for those keen of course). Doesn't help that I'm not good at freeaim mind you, but that'd be less a problem if I wasn't dodging AFK players while tripping over near anything, lol. They're just too crazy.

 

Wish there was a proper race course with jumps or even a showjumping course, plenty of potential as usual. To own, train and race dogs would be pretty cool too.

Regardless of if it's supported by microtransactions or not it's still part of that initial 60 dollar purchase, you can try to come up with ways in which to support your argument here but the bottom line is it isn't sold separately and you don't have to pay more money to "activate" the online portion.

 

Your $60 goes to both the single player and online, since that's what came in the package you bought.

Yep, a million times. All I see is players diving around as soon as weapons are drawn, just like in GTAO. As if most of the PvP modes weren't bad enough without everyone slamming themselves down on the deck like they've repeatedly lost the use of their lower body. It's a lame dominant strategy to break the auto aim lock that should have been refined at the testing stage of development, especially after the same approach was abused heavily in R*'s last online title.

 

If horses could dive around you bet your bottom dollar players would be spamming that too

I'm putting more hours into American Truck Simulator than RDO at this point because that's also an open-world thinly-veiled fetch quest game set in the west... only minus the constant disconnects, clipping issues, forced playlists, dripfeed and random player ganking

Regarding to people talking about price of the game and how GB meant to support Online..

But I have a question here:

How come that previous RDR Multiplayer used to have no transactions but full of content well working multiplayer with events and stuff?

Since what a company who receive millions of dollars income cant afford themselves to make a descent multiplayer where players would be focused on entertainment instead of grinding for grind?

early this morning i had to deal with a griefer posse, they kept attacking and killing me (a lowly level 59 player) and they where a posse of 5 players (i don't know what their levels where but considering how they kept destroying me they had to been higher level players).

i eventually got into a spoils of war and got away from them.

i eventually uninstalled the game and i'm going to wait for the big update to come.

Yeah, this game is a wreck if you find griefing and griefers despicable. Some will only play on glitched passive/solo servers now, risking possible Rockstar retaliation at some point. 

 

That defensive/offensive update can't get here soon enough.

Games are made for shareholders and not gamers. Rockstar is trying to turn players into payers.

I often play alone and I always get targeted by high level posses. I mean where is the satisfaction and/or challenge of 7 players targeting 1 player? I just parley straight away.

 

I’m on rank 79 now but once I’ve unlocked everything I’ll be calling it a day. I don’t see how anyone has any motivation of playing past rank 100 at this point.

Im working to my goal of level 91 after that there is no incentive to rank up. They could ad bigger saddle bags, cloths, outfits anything

What's the point of grinding for literally nothing...just expensive silly stuff to buy for no reason really. I mean like grinding in gta online atleast had some point cuz you could buy something that you can have fun with. But RDO...what the hell is with people playing past lvl 200 investing so much in a game that they most likely don't enjoy playing? This game is exactly like the modern world is...everything that people care about there is just their status (lvl, money, weapons, saddles, horses) but what's the point really of having a high status in a game like this? When it's not even enjoyable getting that status....but atleast irl when you achieve that status you can have some fun and sh*t, enjoy yourself, not in rdo tho.

I have 0 interest in a game which embodies the very worst aspects of todays society. I hope R* realises that we want to enjoy our journey and not just try to fulfill our ''human'' needs by obtaining something hard to obtain just so that we can have it. The system this online works on is just so wrong, it's everything that R* games literally satirizes in every game. Man wtf has R* become this is just so depressing...
