Free aim in a R* game worked until rdr 2 where they made free aim absolutely unusable...auto aim sucks tho, just the fact that I can't enjoy the gameplay of this game makes me want to sell it. April 12th, logged in to give a chance. Spawned in Saint Denis, everything was laggy as hell because of some ghetto wifi ISIS lover moron running around massacring NPC on sight solo (I don't know why such morons play Online). Out of nowhere red dot appeared behind me and another 90Lv sh*thead started to shoot me with what seems to be double automatic pistols or something I don't even know what, but I turned back and fed that imbecile with sawed-off. Then died by the first moron and gone Parley. When I was in the menus, that 90Lv sh*thead continued spawn killing me when I was doing my business, but then I decided to give him a back fire and found out that this sucker running around on the horse with slippery bastard and shotgun in his hands.
I called him pussy with cheap noob sh*t tactics, but was told to die soon and that I'm just a sh*t and this is a shooting game.

After all, just like my character level which seems to be about 3000 negative XP, I experience 3000 negative thoughts about this game and its player base. I don't even know how hard do I have to hit myself in the head to find this pile of trash enjoyable.

These are widely known issues and nobody needs to be told how to ride. We're well aware. We've spent a lot of time on these horses and did back in the original RD. The issue is: Rockstar needs to fix their broken horses.

It's definitely neither of those things.

 

There's many cases of people having issues with horses and the reason being is because they do not understand horse mechanics. Stuff like horses going left when you tell them to go right is, in my experience, usually a case of player input and a poor understanding of horse AI and mechanics. Horses in the game will naturally try and avoid upcoming objects, but if you're sprinting on your horse you get things like the horse trying to dodge a tree but because of the travel speed ends up hitting something else. Hence, the hold X/A mechanics which will make your horse navigate areas on it's own, at sensible speeds. In these cases, players definitely do need to be told how to ride.

 

If you're aware of this and don't have issues with this particular scenario then that's great. I didn't quote you or anyone else for a reason.

Interesting how a greifer can come after me, and end up being killed three times.Then I'll disconnect after waiting beside a building across the river into Saint Denis, hoping he tries to cross it. After joining back "where you left off" and spawning in Cumberland Forest..I had the extra dollar fifty added to my bounty for his three kills, but the three kills added to killing twenty players wasn't there. i don't seem to be getting the 200XP for completing each of the daily challenges today, completed two so far and nothing for either.

Learned a lesson today: If a random starts following you, go around and blast him. 

 

Was just out hunting and was about to sell to the butcher and log off but this rando started following me. Didn't see a gun but as I am riding I do notice he has his little lasso out. I get ready for the right moment to blow him away with the Explosive slugs R* gave us a while back. I took too long and as I aim he throws his lasso, using the equip knife method to get out of it, I gave him some knuckle bones while trying to equip my Pump but of course, he does the auto hogtie thing. 

 

I didnt want to sit there all tied up so I just immediately died and apparently he gets credit for killing me. I spawn in, I go after him, he notices and runs, I then put an Express Rifle round into the back of his head. I ride away cause I was gonna log off anyway and I don't care for a PvP shootout if he wanted to come back anyway. It's been a looong while since i had a troublemaker (I was in a posse before so that wasn't a problem) so that's why I wasn't ready for it but now, I'll be more trigger happy if they follow my trail.

the best lesson to give those suckas is to make them taste their own medicine...brutally. I used to get my revenge on anybody by hogtiing them and throwing a fire bottle at them...oh the screams...they usually run away or disconnect after this lol

I concur i tried playing this again recently because I quit by disconnects or random jackasses. Every single dot that follows my friend and I they lasso or shoot then log off or non stop war I dont get it. I only have had one person that said "my bad" to my friend shooting him by accident from NPC ambush and One other person following us on a mule but they eventually went away after following us for 20 min the rest we're asshats. We had one guy the other day trick us which made me not play for a week.

 

We did a gang hideout he's looting we share them, as soon as my friend turned after looting the last body he's shot in the back then me too shot in the back by a frigg'n 130. I can't believe how it is this is an absurd game Online, this aint for me what a waste. My friend convinced me to buy this game, I regret it never should of bothered atleast I don't preorder this crap even Single play just aint my taste either in old timey time period isn't my thing. This online can't believe it's even a thing to be honest compared to RD1 that one I was fine with, 2 is an abomination. Probably won't play it for a month nothing really goes good in it what's the point?

just how broken is the wanted system after the recent updates??

today after i mistakenly shot and killed a red dot player because when i saw his red dot near me on the map i thought it was a predator and it was dark.

after i realized it was another player i  made a quick exit and did some hunting, when i was done hunting i tried to take my kills to tumbleweed (it was the nearest butcher shop).

i saw a red dot player in the distance shooting at (i think) npcs, so i shot him with my sniper rifle and i rode into town and another player waved at me so i tried to wave back and i got wanted.

i got killed by lawmen, i tried one more time and my horse hit a lawman and i got wanted and killed, i payed off my bounty and tried to go to tumbleweed and got wanted again, i gave up and went to blackwater.

sorry about the story.

Yeah, The horse has an auto avoid stuff in from of you as long as you let go the left stick. Plus idk don't know why, but a seems to me a lot of people don't know how to fully stop your horse while running at full speed, "drift" your horse to take a very sharp corner, nor even "reverse" your horse.At least knowing some of this stuff will help you falling 5 times instead of 20. I'll be lying if say I don't fall, I do, a lot, but I'd fall 30 times instead of 10 without knowing that.

Question if you press Triangle on main menu and you see the feed and photos taken, you account is linked to the Social club, right? Even have the Unlink option on the options menu. So, now we need to do something extra?

I fire a warning shot first, If the other player keep chasing me I blew him up and then I'll snipe you (if is possible, sometimes the terrain makes it almost impossible, like a dense forest). Simple. You've been warned.

Same thing happened to my buddy, and he didn't receive the 0.4 gold upon completion of all challenge objectives. 

 

Let me know what happens with the ticket, I can tell him to do the same ..

I stalled at 26.98 gold bars, when three kills weren't added to the kill twenty players challenge, but was added to my bounty. I'll likely just wait for tomorrow's challenges to get to twenty seven gold bars.

Got that Daily Challenge bug too. Like the negative XP, this is most likely just another case of a developer screw up, they're probably already working on a fix. Hope they give some worthwhile compensation.

Happened to me with the kill 5 animals with a knife challenge. The kills registered, the challenge was deemed complete, but no Dinero's. 

 

The treasure map I got when leveling up to level 105, was broken. I opened the treasure chest and it was empty. The map disappeared and again no Dinero's. 

 

Rockstar is really trying to kill off their franchise. I didn't bother to file a ticket. RDR2 is such a buggy mess.

Update horse appearance. I wouldn't usually, but I've been wanting to switch my silver Turkoman's mane from long to normal and was waiting for this to crop up again.

 

Selected normal black mane, game froze, had to quit app. Restarted, mane still long, money debited from my balance, the challenge is checked as completed, but no XP or gold credited.

 

It's not worth submitting a ticket over.

i guess it was a good thing that i switched camp themes about a week ago from standard to hobo.

the only camp related issue i still have is cripps moving my camp.
