The opening duel and commentary were good things in Redemption. It feel off not having them in RDO.

There is a fairly common bug where animal carcasses suddenly 'spawn-spew' up from the original (more carcasses bursting out of the original carcass), but that one I've never seen before. 8-O

 

On the spawn-spew bug, it seems(?) to be triggered by something or someone walking over it; but yeah, it looks pretty creepy--almost like something out of a horror or alien movie.

 

Slightly OT, but the response of YTr's to Rockstar's new character creator has understandably been epic--every single one of them wondered what new type of wacky weed Rockstar devs have been smoking...

Just please stop showing players in radar R*. Its one of the most annoying thing i ever seen in a onlina game. Also while im in delivery mission and a dude come to steal my papers and if i kill him,he should spawn far from me BECAUSE HE LOST HIS CHANCE. He spams a few meters away and attack me again. All over GTA ONLINE bullsh*t again.

Why were my only choices in character creation between a white man and a black woman? There was a white girl playing in my first mission, so I assume it's possible, but my only option at creation was man or woman followed by 3 shades of African American for the woman.

Just logged some time online. You people are either insane or unlucky. The only person that has killed me didn't have a dot on the mini map. I've seen a whopping 3 dots on the map in my short time adventuring, and they all appeared upon inspection to be in cinematic mode traveling across this barren desert. 

 

The boredom will be real, but it's fine so far since I only want the achievements anyway

I just went back and visited GTA0 last night for the first time since RDR2.  It felt so comfortable and familiar and liberating.  

 

I love the incredible, stunning design of the RDR2 game world, but I'm just going to explore it in SP, where all the beautiful details are there, with an Arthur from Chapter 3.  No incentive for Online, except to drop in a few times and see how quickly I get griefed, just to confirm my model of human nature.

That's why it is going to need story elements and events.

Screw buying stuff. I never understood the fascination with it in GTAO either.

I own about 15 cars, 3 motorcycles, and a few trucks in GTAO and actually use them all.

Meanwhile people are screaming for more garage space because they don't have enough space to buy every car in the game... I just don't get it.

 

Let me earn cash, buy stuff I want, and then enjoy co-op and competitive modes until the game shuts down.

I've got to leave this sh*t show alone for a weeks/months. I want to enjoy it, I've tried really hard to enjoy it.... but it's just not there. I have to leave it alone because it's ruining the story for me. I want to remember Red Dead the way it should be remembered, as a beautiful open world full of life and almost endless possibilities. Not the barren wasteland peppered with spastics that I discovered yesterday afternoon.

At least you guys can play. I started off fine yesterday for the first several hours and then once 6pm hit boom, I get disconnected every 10 mins. And now today I can't even get on period. It just keeps telling me there's an error or Rockstars part. So idk. Not a good start so far.

What the f*ck is this game? Its not an MMO from the nineties nor is it a mobile game so why are cosmetics locked behind absurd walls or paywalls? Basic stuff as well like a suit jacket? Really? I could understand extremely flamboyant or homage outfits like Djangos blue suit but basic stuff?

Level locked anything is a f*cking travesty, no cosmetic items should be level locked.

I mostly criticize atmosphere, so yeah, no commentary in organized modes is a missing feature from the game. At least they could've replaced it with spoken voice lines by the characters. You know, shouting, cursing and all that Western dirty talk. Shootouts are too quiet except for the gun sounds of course, coupled with the single-rhythm soundtrack. Feels more like GTA Online's shootouts pace, or say atmosphere, wise. I don't see how or where Red Dead Online is inspired by Redemption multiplayer so far.

Yeah , for a game that was in dev for 8 years and made for this console generation , this character creator is horrible . Just horrible.

 

Then what the hell is the point of choosing my players name if literally no one else will ever see it. Just use my dang PSN name idiots and save me the time of putting something in there.

 

The price rape gauging will be the death of this thing. Sure the kids will buy your gold bars, because they are idiots. But for alot of people thats a no go and making the game an extreme grind to get anything...... already turning me off, i got other games i can play that dont do this horrible practice. Thanks Rockstar for taking a good product and ruining it in no time.

Are you serious again? Eight f*cking years, a generational leap and almost at the end of it and you cant enable SP level physics in MP? Our legs just clip through the coats when we run? I wonder what Manager got two things brought to him, one was a video showing how the coats look and the other was the Gold/Level locked items system. He then decided that the coats looked fine and had the team lock all the items behind paywalls.
