We watch those old westerns a lot still. There are a few channels that show them every day. They also are what got me to buy RDR2.

Most of the updates they've dropped have been fine but only for a short period of time and then boredom sets in for a loooooong stretch of time. A lot of discontent would go away if they'd just drop new content every month or so since they put out stuff that gets done in a real short period of time. They don't have to be big updates, just enough to keep people interested and occupied till the next one drops.

 

At least content every 3 months would be fine, 6 months is too much of a drought.

That's the thing, this game was advertised as being able to play any way that you wish, so all of us (or most of us, any way), can be catered to. I have to make "adjustments" here and there to play the way I want, but I'm satisfied, for the most part.

I've always been a "cowgirl" at heart, being a horse lover they tend to go hand in hand.  

 

The unfortunate thing about this game is that we have developers who think that players want nothing more than to shoot things when many are just as happy to do the day to day things that would make up life in the "Old West". I'm not so certain they know how to balance it all out to fit everyone's want lists.

I bet most devs never even played online .  Most of them probably don’t how to use google.    So many cool guns and horse breeds that could’ve been added by now.

IIRC, they weren't. Only a few SP themes were used in ALOO missions but once the FP update came out in 2019, the whole score of online got revamped to use a lot more of the themes from the SP. Not the wanted/encounter variants.

 

We'll see what this trailer is about first, I'll be able to tell if it's something new within the first 2 seconds. As soon as the update drops I will rip everything and upload everything as quick as I can.

Same here, my main interest in the game came from me loving horses and horsebackriding. I also really like the hunting part in the game and I enjoy the shootouts in missions, but I don't like the pvp in this game. So my interest would be more along the line of ranches and ranchwork,  but Blood Money got me hyped, because of the robbing part and I think it will be as big as the Bountyhunter  update

I hope some of the "high-stakes robberies" reuse the Cayo Perico looting animations. If there's one thing i enjoyed in that heist apart from the soundtrack it was the looting animations, especially gold bars which I think may very well be a goal here too

Well, they did a special discounts this week for 100+ lvl players. Probably nothing unusual but I just want to spend my money on something other than outlaw passes and cosmetics. And btw , owning a place , where we can plan robberies,stash our provision etc would be amazing but that's just a dream

Maybe they’re taking new approach to heists and robberies since Cayo Perico Heist in GTAO which can be done solo. That was smart decision so I can see it being the same in RDO
